Hi Phil, thank you for your detailed feedback. We are sorry the property did not meet your expectations and appreciate the opportunity to address the concerns raised. We would like to take the opportunity to address your concerns. The ceiling opening resulted from an urgent plumbing repair following the previous stay and was repaired on the first day of your visit. Our property manager has since inspected the downstairs shower, bedroom vent, outlets, putting green, and other reported items. The shower hot water and vent were found to be operating correctly, and the putting green remains in good condition. We sincerely apologize for the pest issue. Our pest-control provider performed an additional treatment immediately after it was reported. The exterior wiring mentioned was low-voltage coaxial cable, not exposed electrical wiring, and the cover has now been replaced. Beach umbrellas were delivered on the first day of the stay. A replacement patio umbrella has been ordered, the broken sliding-door shade has been replaced, and the kayak drain plug is being replaced. Regarding the landscaping, unfortunately we have had a drought this summer and much of the grass suffered as a result of watering restrictions. We have just replaced the existing landscaping with artificial turf. The property already has the largest trash receptacles permitted by the city. The boards on the hot-tub cover were temporarily added after a previous guest damaged the securing straps. They did not affect the operation of the hot tub, but we agree that a more permanent solution is appropriate. We are also reviewing the occupancy concern against the applicable local requirements to ensure that the listing remains accurate. We regret that these concerns affected your experience. During the stay, we responded promptly to each issue that was brought to our attention and addressed what we could at that time, including repairing the ceiling and delivering beach umbrellas on the first day. We encourage all guests to notify us of any concerns as soon as they arise so we have the opportunity to investigate and resolve them during their stay.

Hi Jeanna, we’re sorry the stay did not meet your expectations. Regarding the roaches, we have pest control treat every other month and have not had complaints about pests before. Nonetheless, this is a tropical climate and unfortunately pests can crop up from time to time despite active surveillance. Regarding the lawn, we’ve had a dry spell this summer and it has taken its toll on the grass. We’re now t sure what you are referring to regarding the chipped and warped furniture but we will be sure to investigate. Hi Ryan, thanks for the nice review, we're glad you had a good time! Thank you also for your feedback, we will work to fix the arcade game and air hockey stick. Regarding the temperature of the water, hot tubs only go up to 105 F, any hotter is dangerous, but 104 is very hot for most people. I don't think it will be too cold in the fall and winter months. As for the beach, the state is adding more sand soon as it got swept out by the hurricanes, so the beach will soon be extended, but there's still plenty of beach available as it is now. We haven't had any complaints about the undertow before, but obviously conditions can vary depending on the time of the year.
