Thanks for taking the time to share your feedback, Kimberly. We’re sorry to hear that parts of your stay didn’t meet expectations. The home does have some historic charm, which can come with a few quirks, and we understand how the steep stairs and nearby construction made things less convenient—especially for older guests. We really appreciate your honesty, and we’ll be sure to keep this in mind as we continue working to improve the experience for all our guests.

Thank you for such a thoughtful and balanced review! We’re so happy to hear your group enjoyed the home, the spacious kitchen, and the comfort of the master suite - especially the extra space and soaking tub. Our housekeeping team takes pride in their cleanliness so that is wonderful to hear! Parking in Charleston is pretty rare so we’re happy to hear we could accommodate and make your stay more convenient. There will be some city noise everywhere downtown, but our travelers have always loved the location of the rental as it truly allows you to walk everywhere downtown and experience the city. We truly appreciate your kind words and hope to welcome you again!

Hi Joanne, thank you for your feedback! As for the construction, that’s unfortunately a neighboring project outside of our control, but we did update the listing to reflect this before your booking. Being a historic home, it can sometimes take a bit of time to get warm water flowing, and we appreciate your patience with that. While there is some city noise downtown especially with the lively nightlife - our travelers have always loved the location because it lets you walk everywhere and really experience Charleston. We truly appreciate your honest review and hope to make improvements where we can.

Hi Patricia, thank you for sharing your feedback, and we're so sorry to hear that your experience didn’t meet expectations. Your comments are important, and we will ensure our team addresses these concerns immediately to improve the space for future guests. We encourage all guests to reach out with any questions before booking, so we can make sure our homes are the right fit for their needs. Our team is also available 24/7 to assist with any concerns during your stay, and we would have been happy to address these issues had we known sooner. We sincerely appreciate your feedback, and if you choose to stay with us again, we will do everything we can to make your experience more comfortable and enjoyable.
