Upon arriving to Daufuskie, you will need land transportation to your rental. During your stay your means of transportation will be a golf cart. Explore Daufuskie is partnered with excellent boat captains with options from Savannah and Hilton Head. We can coordinate any or all of these reservations for you. This 2 Bed/2Bath Villa is perfect for a family vacation or a weekend getaway. Located on the 2nd floor, this villa is equipped with a full kitchen to prepare your meals/snacks. The Master bedroom has a king size bed with attached full bath w/ jetted tub and double vanities. Guest bedroom has 2 queen size beds with attached full bath with shower/tub combination. Centrally located on the island and just a short walk from the beach. Have your breakfast on the spacious screened in porch, or enjoy evening marsh views of the sunset and wildlife. At low tide, enjoy strolls on the beach where you will find starfish, sand dollars, tidal pools, and sand bars that exhibit unique marine life

Our favorite quick getaway

We love staying on Daufuskie, even if it's just for the weekend. The property manager for this rental was the best. They always reached out to me before I had to ask anything and were so kind and helpful. We loved the condo! So cute! My only complaint is it was a little tricky figuring out how to get up to the second floor.

End of summer Daufuskie Stay

We had a wonderful trip to Daufuskie. The cottage is a third story walk up, so caution if stairs would be a problem. There is an elevator and a luggage lift, however both were out of operation during our stay making for a good workout on arrival day. We were made aware that those were not working prior to arrival. Otherwise the property was fantastic, clean and just as described. Stocked with kitchen essentials. There were beach chairs and a few beach toys that we did not use, so I can comment on functionality there. Caroline, the property manager was easy to get a hold of. The property is in Melrose and faces away from the ocean, however a very, very short walk, less than 5 mins to the beach. Daufuskie is a hidden gem and we would stay at this location again.

Lovely property

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit. The elevators aren’t in service, which was only really an inconvenience for luggage (the luggage butler also was out of service). Otherwise this is a lovely rental and the property manager was very communicative and helpful. Will likely book again!

Nice relaxing vacation in a natural environment.

Most everything at this property was great. The sofa wasnt too comfortable but the rest was very comfortable and well equipped. Tooling around in the golf cart was a new experience for us.

I did not stay here once I checked in. Unit on third floor, elevator broken. Maybe due to construction of unit in 2nd floor. Unit decor average.

Fun Weekend

Overall it was an excellent stay. The only exception was they picked the golf cart up 20 minutes early so we were left having to have other friends staying come pick us up and our stuff to take us to Freeport marina. Note this was done to 2 other people staying in these units.

Amazing Getaway!

We had such a get time during our weekend on Daufuskie! The villa was perfect, very clean and had everything we needed, & the location was great! Check in was seamless and we had great communication with the property manager when we did have questions. We will definitely be back!

Poorly done

We were told we would find the keys in a lock box. There was no lockbox when we arrived. The place was unlocked so we went in. It was only accidentally that we found the keys in the condo. Also, we were supposed to have a golf cart to get around the island, but there was nothing to tell where the golf cart was. Also we received instructions on the elaborate procedure needed when we left only the day before the rental began. Had I known all that was necessary, I would not have made the reservation in the first place. A major dissapointment in all.

Great value for 2 couples

Excellent condition. Enjoyed reading and listening to birds on the screened in porch. Walk across the street to the beach to watch the sunrise.

Great getaway

We had a great visit to Daufuskie at Melrose on the Beach. Hollie made all of the logistics simple and addressed any issue or questions we had during our stay. We thoroughly enjoyed the island, the short walk to the beach, and the different sites on the island with the golf cart. And having the simple things provided like top notch beach towels and chairs made it easier to pack light and enjoy the beach. The townhome is beautiful, with lots of high end features, nice furniture, bedrooms, kitchen and living space. We especially enjoyed the huge porch and peaceful setting behind the property. While getting to Daufuskie can be an adventure, its a place where you can really unplug and feel like you've truly left your world behind. It was an incredibly relaxing few days and we're looking forward to going back.

Daufuskie stay

This is our fifth stay at the Easter Beach condos but the first time in this particular unit… It needs some updating and the air conditioning went out the last night so it was a pretty warm night for us but the property manager gave us a partial refund and said she would be working with the owners on the needed repairs and updates. Daufuskie is always a great place to go to get away from it all and the condo is in a quiet resort w close proximity to the beach.
