Located in Beautiful Apple Valley Farm Motorcoach Resort, lot 148 (pull in lot) has it all with extensive landscaping and pavers. Step out of your coach to multiple seating areas and a swing to enjoy the open space. Here you'll have an incredible view of the mountains and lake to entertain your friends. This lot also has a PRIVATE deck suspended out the front of the lot with spectacular views of the mountains, water wheel, lake and club house! Come and enjoy lot 148 and all that Apple Valley Farm and Rumbling Bald on Lake Lure has to offer!
*RV must be a minimum 32' Class A motor coach. You must provide your own motor coach
** No 4 wheel pull behind trailers allowed. Cars must be hitched to motor coach.
*** This property isn't on Lake Lure and is approximately one mile from central amenities.
Golf carts are not allowed on public roads and cannot be taken to the motor coach resort.

Well appointed motor coach spot. Landscaping made the location private. Several seating areas with umbrellas and patio deck area overlooking the lake and mountains added to the enjoyment of the Apple farm RV Resort. Enjoyed the location, the surrounding area and the owners I met. The place was very pet friendly and included a fenced dog area. I highly recommend this site for other motor coach owners to visit.

This is a beautiful campground (hard to even call it a campground as it doesn't feel like one). Site overlooks a small lake with a mountain in the background. Lots of foliage between sites so you feel a sense of privacy. Saw many deer, a bear, and a groundhog (he seems to live right behind this site) while here. Not a lot of amenities in the community, but we kept busy during our 2 week stay. Plenty of trails, boating, and dining nearby. You can visit Rumbling Bald for golf and dining, but not the other amenities. Restaurant was great (try the pizza). Great hosts and very friendly neighbors around us. If we return to Lake Lure, we would definitely stay here again.

Fantastic. We loved it so much we extended our stay. Beautiful place, serene, and peaceful. Fantastic area with a lot to do. The hosts are great.

Great getaway

Jason and Michelle are terrific. If you're looking for a place to unplug from the daily grind this is the place. The neighbors we interacted with were super friendly and welcoming.

Returning to the spot we loved last year.

We love this little piece of paradise. Happy to have returned this year. Even though a lot in the area is still recovering in the aftermath of hurricane Helene, there is still much to do there.Michele and Jason are wonderful hosts. Everything is arranged and taken care of. We look forward to returning next year!

Site 148

Jason and Michelle are excellent host and respond quickly for what ever is needed. Other owners in the park were friendly and shared a lot of information with our group. The site was located over the water and was quiet and peaceful. Overall we were well pleased with our stay and would recommend to others.

We stayed at lot 148. Very big lot with lots of space. The pictures do not do it justice. It’s so beautiful and peaceful there. The grounds are well maintained throughout. This lot overlooks the pond. Plenty of seating on several different levels. We enjoyed having coffee each morning outside on the large comfortable deck chairs overlooking the pond. The Hosts were SUPER nice. Answered and responded back to my questions very fast. They were very helpful during our stay. We loved it and told the Hosts, we’ll be booking several more times next year.

Perfect Class A Motorhome Getaway

This was the first “sea trial” of our new motorcoach and could have not been happier. Jason and Michelle were so helpful and responsive, and ready to assist with any question I asked them. Jason had advice on the local places to see and things to do around Lake Lure. He also had great insight on what I would need to know when bringing our coach up to their mountain getaway. All in all a perfect trip to a beautiful spot. We will definitely be going back. Thank you Jason and Michelle for being such great hosts!

Be ware of roads

To get there was so scared two lane roads no shoulder switch backs need to be aware of!! Resort was ok very quiet needs updating very old. Excellent restaurant with in walking. To go anywhere is terrible roads curves switch backs takes forever to go 3 miles!! Not much there to do and have to take the forever roads of switchback.

So this review has nothing to do with our property. These reviews are supposed to be a reflection of the property you rented, not your evaluation of the town you made a decision to visit or rent in. I’m sorry you were disappointed with Lake Lure. It’s been a vacation destination for families for generations! Unfortunately like most beautiful places, the roads to any mountain location are 2 lane and were cut into the mountains long ago. We cannot control what the North Carolina Dept Of Transportation does in the area and many people still happily take the trip. Mountain Roads Are Narrow!!!! Our park is very very quiet, that’s the draw honestly. We never advertised it as anything but. We’re glad you enjoyed the Victory Restaurant and we’ll pass your compliments on to them! We are avid RVer’s ourselves and always Google Earth both our destination and the roads there before we book or travel and perhaps in the future you should consider doing the same. We’re sorry and disappointed our lot and park earned a One Star Review In Your Head. Perhaps some research on your part ahead of time would provide you with a better trip somewhere else!!! For the record, we rated you as a renter with 5 stars despite your criticism of Lake Lure. We evaluated our relationship with you, our renter, and nothing else!! Happy Camping… Jason and Michelle

Beautiful setting and quality outdoor furniture. Loved that there was also a swing. We think this is the best lot in the RV park for location and views. Also it does not have late afternoon (hot!) sun so it was pleasant sitting out in the late afternoon. Great communication with Michelle and Jason - they always responded quicker than I expected - as in minutes after I sent a message. Very helpful. We ate lunch at Victory (shrimp and grits were awesome), Highland Reserve (great scallops and crab cakes), and Appalachia in Lake Lure (blackened shrimp was a highlight). Would definitely so a complete repeat of our trip. It was fabulous.

Perfect spot with beautiful patio

We walked around and this appears to be the best spot in the campground. There is a floating patio with a view of the little lake and water wheel. Best part is the fence at the top. We closed that and our dogs were able to hang out with us off leash in that area. We loved our stay! A couple notes: Verizon cell service doesn’t work at all. Make sure you have all the information pulled up before you lose service driving in. We were told AT&T works there. The shared WiFi in the campground is weak and wasn’t strong enough to run things like TV streaming. We travel with our own WiFi, but sadly it is Verizon. Dog park doesn’t have bags for pick up so bring your own.

That’s great feedback and we appreciate it! We have a cel phone booster and Verizon and still have to walk in a circle at times! We’re going to bring up the dog bag suggestion at our next board meeting and will stock our dry boxes with dog bags on our next trip! This was our third time visiting the same spot near Lake Lure. Michelle and Jason are wonderful hosts, and we had an excellent stay. Communication was outstanding from booking through checkout. Michelle and Jason were friendly and responsive, and they made sure we had everything we needed for a relaxing stay.The location is unbelievable; magical, peaceful, and convenient.
