Very clean and well stocked cottage. Plenty of trails to hike near by. Fire pit and outdoor games were a nice bonus!

This cabin was so relaxing. From the moment we came in through the front porch to the clean and well stocked interior. It was well located for us to explore the area and yet felt like we were "away" from it all. I appreciate the suggestion for restaurants and the thoughtful extras.

Wonderful couple of nights in this sweet little cottage! Everything was super clean and comfortable. Property is well organized and easy to navigate. Would absolutely love to stay here again!!

We really enjoyed staying at Acadia Woods for a recent family vacation. It was cozy, clean, and well appointed. Recommend the location if you want to avoid the busy area of downtown Bar Harbor. There are several restaurants within walking distance of the property, and Acadia is really close. It was a great landing spot as we explored all around the area. The only slight downside is that the main road is pretty busy and you can hear the traffic/speeding cars. Otherwise, our kids also loved our stay and the special things like the fairy path, closet of toys, and board games in the unit.

This place was perfect! In addition to being well appointed, we really appreciated the extra touches - good water pressure in the shower, the prepped/equipped community campfire, the ‘enchanted’ forest walk for kids, the couple of kids books in the bunk bed room. Wish we could have stayed longer!

Perfect Location!

Our stay at Acadia woods was fantastic! The location is great. Close to downtown Bar Harbor for shopping and close to Acadia. Acadia Woods has everything we needed for our vacation!

We absolutely loved our Swan’s Chalet cabin! Everything was sparkling clean and just right. All the info provided to us about our stay was so helpful, and we loved the area. Perfect.

Beautiful little cabin in the woods!

The property was perfect for a quick getaway to Acadia national Park! It was clean, secluded, and just what we were looking for. Easy access to downtown Bar Harbor and our bicycle tour of Acadia national Park. Would highly recommend and would love to come back.

Great stay at Swan's Chalet

Very clean cabin. Had everything necessary for a great stay. Very close to Acadia National Park. Would stay there again! Great beds, great shower/bath, well equipped kitchen. Nice hang out space on front porch. Nicely built little cabin. NICE!

Spectacular Swan Chalet

Our 3-night stay at the Swan Chalet was perfect. The cabin was immaculate and had everything we needed. The location was great too. We could walk to a general store, shaved ice and pizza place as well as Atlantic Brewing. Bar Harbor and Acadia were about 15-20 minutes away making it a great home base for exploring.

We loved the cottage! As advertised for sure and cleanliness throughout. The attention to detail was off the chart. The cottage is ideal for smaller families. We enjoyed staying on MDI and far enough away from the hustle and bustle of Bar Har yet still accessible within 10/15 mins. Highly recommend!

Thoughtful, comfortable and clean.

Our cottage was absolutely perfect for our family. The thoughtful touches such as the games, travel coffee mugs and well stocked fire pit and activity closet make this rental stand out against all the others. The whole property was spotless and beautiful. Conveniently located to the park and some excellent lobster rolls. I cannot say enough good things. We very much enjoyed our stay, only wishing it was longer.

Comfortable Accommodations

Travelled with my adult children. The cottage accommdated all of us. It was very well stocked. Small living space but comfortable and the screen porch gave some extra lroom. We enjoyed ping pong and the fire pit right on the property. Plenty of good places to eat in a very short distance. There is some traffic noise as it is close to the main road but it was quite quiet at night.

Great Accomodation but far from all the activities

Great cottage and clean and new house. Had all the basic amenities. The listing says location close to bar harbor and Acadia park but it took atleast 25 mins to get to both the places. The location is in Mt Desert island which is atleast a 10 mile drive from all the main locations. I hope they change it to reflect it accurately in the listing. Otherwise an awesome cottage to stay in

We are located in Bar Harbor (1344 ME-102, Bar Harbor, ME 04609) and a quick google map search will show that we are only 8.2 miles away from Downtown Bar Harbor and 7 miles from the main entrance of Acadia National Park - which is exactly what we have stated in our listing. The review prior to yours, as well as other guests' reviews posted on our website, all mention our close proximity to these areas. Since you visited during the 4th of July week (which is one of the busiest times here in the island), it's possible that the navigation app you used directed you to a longer alternate route to avoid traffic. This is unfortunately out of our control but hopefully can help future travelers to plan accordingly. Nonetheless, we hope you enjoyed your trip and we look forward to hosting you again in the future!

We enjoyed the cabin. Penny was great with communication and the lace was spotless. I would recommend this place for folks that want to cook and need a couple of bedrooms.

Stayed for a a two night trip. The cabins feel brand new and incredibly clean. What a relaxing stay! Our host was communicative and helpful. We really enjoyed the nearby pizza place, BBQ restaurant and brewery. Would definitely stay here again!
