Escape to our charming vacation rental nestled between Burt Lake and Mullett Lake in scenic Northern Michigan. Perfectly situated just under 2 miles from both lakes, our home offers easy access to the famed Inland Waterway—a 38-mile network of interconnected lakes and rivers stretching from Lake Huron to Crooked Lake.

Unwind in comfort within our cozy retreat boasting modern amenities including a fully-equipped kitchen, inviting fireplace, ample parking, and a spacious yard. Explore nearby gems like Indian River, Cheboygan, Petoskey, Harbor Springs, and Mackinaw City, brimming with diverse dining, shopping, and cultural attractions for year-round enjoyment.

Embark on thrilling water adventures with activities like boating, fishing, swimming, kayaking, and jet skiing, or hit the trails for hiking, biking, snowmobiling, and skiing in the surrounding parks and trails.

We are excited to announce that we will be adding some new features to Between the Lakes to make your stay more enjoyable. Soon, you will be able to enjoy a grill, a firepit, and some outdoor games in the backyard. Whether you want to have a barbecue, roast some marshmallows, or play some cornhole, we have you covered. Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful home. It was the perfect base camp for our family’s engagement celebration on Mackinac Island over the weekend. The thoughtful and personal touches in the decor were truly amazing, and the fire pit was a great bonus. The hostess had excellent communication throughout the entire experience, which made our stay even more enjoyable. I truly appreciate you, and I would be delighted to visit again. The place was very clean and comfortable. I highly recommend this stuff to anyone that’s looking.

Immaculate & comfortable!!The best VRBO we have ever stayed in!And our little Annie dog was welcome also!Kellyann even had flowers, chocolates & cheese for us upon arrival! It was a birthday celebration!

Cute and cozy condo!

Kellyann was a great host - very responsive and helpful! The house has a lot of thoughtful details and it’s nicely decorated, sprinkled with many Northern Michigan touches :) It does need a few upgrades but overall it is very nice!

Home Away From Home

Let’s Start by saying the Host is wonderful. The house is cozy and has everything you need. The beds are comfy always a plus. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a cute place to stay. Easy to get around to all the different areas. I give this place 5stars and A. Thank you Kellyann

DIRTIEST PROPERTY

The house was covered with hair and dust. We went there and it was impossible to stay we cleaned up vacuumed but still we couldn't clear all the hair and dust, we had 2-year baby with us we found hair in her mouth and vomiting all the way. Worst experience ever!

Cozy and Comfortable

We had an amazing, relaxing time! The cabin is delightfully decorated and immaculate. We visited Mackinac Island, viewed the local sites and returned to the comfort of the fireplace. Kellyanne and Dan were great hosts and we thank them. We would definitely return! Marvin, Teresa and Pup, Sebastian

Wonderful Cozy Home Away from Home

The house was charming & decorated so cute! Definitely had comfy beds!! The location was awesome to get us to Hwy 75 to take us to Mackinaw city, Mackinaw Island, and Sault Ste Marie. The trees were beautiful! We felt safe & secure here & would love to stay again! The hosts were amazing with information & treats! Thank you so much!

Beautiful home close to it all

The home is immaculate and updated. Every need has been thought of and provided for. The layout is perfect. Close to everything without being in the middle of everything. Kellyann was great to work with, very thoughtful and responsive. Highly recommend staying here.

Really enjoyable!!!!

We had an amazing stay! Four adults an a 18 month old. Everything you could ask for was available. Very clean Plenty of towels and even a pack and play for the baby. The welcoming treats were a nice touch also. Outdoor grilling area was great and fire pit also. Kellyann was very responsive and accommodating

Cozy Cottage

We had an amazing stay- everything was so comfortable and the house was very clean. Kellyann went above and beyond with personal touches that shows you how much her and her husband cares. We loved everything about the house and the location was perfect. I would definitely stay here again & recommend staying here to anyone that is looking for a place in Cheboygan.

Girls weekend

The house very homey and made us feel welcomed. The decorating is awsome and the appliances are very modern. The book they leave to run things is very helpful. The beds and furniture were the most comfortable of any Vrbo’s I’ve stayed in. Would stay here again.

Awesome vacation with family!

This place was amazing and the hosts went above and beyond to provide a welcoming, peaceful, beautiful home in between the lakes! Location is ideal for a day at Mackinac Island or exploring the U.P. The home is very well appointed with everything you could need and more! The attention to detail showed in every room. We spent time in the evening gathered around an inviting fire, roasting marshmallows and making memories. The hosts even delivered a corn hole set so we could all play. Wow! You don't see that kind of customer service in today's world. We had a marvelous stay and we would definitely stay here again! Thank you Kelly Ann and Dan! You guys are the best hosts we've ever had!

Great property!

Our family of 5 had a great time with plenty of room for everyone. With a 2 teenagers and a younger kid, there was plenty of room for everyone to have their own space (both inside and outside). We loved the cleanliness of the house, and outside with the grilling station, fire pit, and trails through the property.

Family and pooch- Getaway

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The host has thought of everything, from daily essentials to a well-stocked coffee bar. We brought our senior dog along, and she was welcomed with some doggie treats. We also enjoyed the grill station and had a relaxing night by the fire pit after spending the day at Mackinac Island. We highly recommend to anyone wanting to stay at a very peaceful place.
