Great hangout spaces and we loved all of the full baths. Owner was extremely helpful and always replied very quickly to any questions. The house was well equipped. The location was extremely convenient to both East Hampton and Sag Harbor. There was noise from route 114, but we got used to it And it didn’t bother us.

Very nice stay

Host was extremely responsive and a pleasure to deal with. We enjoyed our stay and would return. The house is not particularly renovated, could get new/bigger beds, renovate kitchen etc. but it was totally fine overall - we were comfortable, there was very good WiFi; TV set up with netlfix, Disney, etc. Bunch of stuff for the kids to play with. There was plenty of space and the outdoor set up was especially good. House off a main road; but traffic noise not an issue indoors. Very close to village and main beach - 8 minutes drive.

Party of Nine

We had a fantastic week and made a lot of fun memories! The tennis court and swimming pool were major highlights! The kids and adults used both every day. The kitchen was fully stocked. We really enjoyed cooking and grilling and eating meals outside on the deck under the trellis and also inside around the large dining table - which also served as a great poker table for kids and adults game night! We loved the neighborhood- the owner gave us several great recommendations including a chicken farm for fresh eggs and a fabulous farm stand that was small but mighty! We also went to a nearby beach in Sag Harbor for a beautiful sunset! The owner was excellent to communicate with and check-in was very easy. The house had plenty of space for all of us - we were a group of 4 adults and 5 children ranging from 2 to 15. The kids had an awesome time on the tennis court and in the pool! Definitely kept them off their screens and engaged in family activities!

We can’t wait to rent this house again!

The property had everything we needed, the owner and the property manager were both lovely, the pool was warm and dreamy, we made great use of the tennis court, the location was convenient to all!

Great family vacation!

We had a great week staying at this terrific house in East Hampton! James was a great host and answered all of questions in a very timely fashion. The house is very spacious- lots of bedrooms and bathrooms, and enough work space areas for the 4 of our adult kids to work from their own areas The house is lovely- we thought it looked even better in person than the listing pictures. The outside space is terrific-beautiful flowers and plantings everywhere. Pool and tennis court where a big hit- and I just loved being outside Kitchen was very well stocked. BBQ was pretty finicky- but other than that everything was perfect!

Great spot for a family

James's house was perfect for our large group, with ample bedrooms and a great outdoor space for tennis and swimming. In terms of location, you mostly have to drive places, but the drives are never that far. The listing is very accurate and James was incredibly easy to communicate with. With the perspective of a couple summers in the Hamptons and lots of looking for places to stay, our whole group felt like this was a great find.

Lots of comfortable space in a beautiful setting. Owner sent explicit instructions regarding the house as well as places to eat and go, which was most helpful. A pleasant week overall.

My family and I stayed at this house for 1 week in August 2018 (5 adults, 3 kids). James was very responsive and his directions/instructions for the house were very thorough. We enjoyed the house amenities and proximity to both E. Hampton and Sag Harbor (we often went to Sagg Main Beach). We also liked dining outside under the trellis. Having ample bedrooms/bathrooms was a plus - as well as the second refrigerator in the garage. My family is definitely interested in renting this house again next summer!

We had an amazing stay at James house. Great for kids!

The house has a great outdoor area, the deck, pool and tennis court are amazing. Inside it’s very comfortable and very well equipped. When we arrived it was very clean. They let us borrow bikes and the beach gear. We would love to come back again!

Highly recommended.

We were a party of 9 with ages ranging from 3 to 86! This home was perfect for us. Plenty of ground floor bedrooms and en-suite bathrooms and no need to climb stairs. The location is exceptionally private although shops and restaurants are just a short car ride (traffic always bad in the summer!). It was great to have the tennis court with lots of balls and rackets provided. The pool was clean and warm, close to the house and as safe as could be. Clean, user friendly, and well equipped. James was easy to deal with and really helpful.

Great house, amenities and location!

We loved the house and had a great stay in the Hamptons. While located on Sag Harbor Turnpike, the house is in a very quiet and beautiful environment, surrounded by trees, only a 10 minute drive downtown East Hampton. The house is just as in the pictures, very well taken care of. The pool is great size and well maintained. Tennis court is a nice plus and the deck space and barbecue makes the backyard a lovely place to spend your days. The interior is open and flowing and very easy for two families to share. Every room in the house is well appointed and the large number of bathrooms helps avoid morning pileups. James has been very nice and available whenever we had a question and gave us great advice on the places to visit and things to do in and around EH.

Perfect set up for large groups

We had a great time at the house! There was no shortage of activities and games to keep our family of 5 (plus various groups of friends) busy. The kids loved the pool and the tennis court, and we enjoyed grilling every night. The owner James was very accessible and responded quickly to all of our questions. The house was clean and cozy. great thanksgiving weekend

We had great time at James' house for thanksgiving weekend. The house was spacious and clean and has everything we needed. The boys and kids enjoyed playing balls on the court. We would definitely want to visit the house again during summer time so we can use the pool too. Overall great experience and James is very easy to work with.

Very nice stay in East Hamptons

We had a very nice stay at James' house. There was enough space / rooms for our family of 11 (6 adults, 4 young kids and 1 baby). The House is very closed from East Hampton and Sag Harbor, which is very convenient. The pool is great and so are the tennis court and the house in general, especially the sun room and the living room which is nice and spacious. James was a very helpful guest and everything went smooth at the house during our stay. The only downside: the BBQ and the pool chairs need an upgrade, but except that we all were very happy with our stay. Hope this is helpful and we will have the opportunity to come back.

The property was fabulous. Just what we needed.

We had a great time, the kids loves playing tennis and basketball on the court. and I loved lighting the fire and relaxing with a glass of red. It would have been great to see the leaves on the trees - I can only imagine how incredible it would look. Everything in the house was clean and presented beautifully and we felt at home right away. Excellent stay!

Perfect Getaway with lovely owners

I was in charge of planning a girls getaway weekend and stumbled upon this house. It was everything we were looking for... a charming, well-maintained house in East Hampton with a pool, grill, patio, etc. The kitchen has wonderful appliances, the grill seemed new, the pool and backyard were groomed perfectly and the rooms felt cozy and clean. The house really felt like a home away from home. It is extremely well maintained and has an extremely warm feel. The owners made the experience such a pleasure. James went above and beyond in providing detailed instructions for the house as well as helping me plan my weekend (restaurant suggestions, activities, etc). We will definitely be coming back. I cannot say enough good things about the house and our experience renting it from the owners! PS- the sun room is amazing.

Great stay!

We spent 4 days in this beautiful house and everything was perfect. The house was very clean when we arrived, and it has all you need including a fully equipped kitchen. We were 3 couples with 4 kids and the house is very kids friendly - which helps when it’s freezing outside (along with the firewood)! In addition, the landlord was very responsive to all our questions. We would definitely recommend this house, and will be coming back for sure!

Wonderful stay

We stayed in this house for a few days and we had a wonderful time ! The property was beautiful and very comfortable. We really enjoyed the outside area with the pool and the dinning deck. Fantastic stay!

My family and I had a great time staying at this house for 2 weeks. The house was clean and neat and equipped with anything you need from kitchen supplies to kids toys. The pool was clean and warm. The sunroom was Perfect for coffee in the morning or wine in the evening. The grill was easy to use And there was ample seating at the outside dining area. The location is central To east Hampton and very close to Sag Harbor. The owner was a pleasure to deal with, extreme communicative and promptly responds to e-mails. I would highly recommend a stay at this Lovely home.

Wonderful Week

I'm tempted to write something negative so this property can remain my family's secret getaway :) But, in truth we had a wonderful time, between the heated pool, tennis court, and great outdoor deck we barely had 'enough' time to go the beach! The house feels quite spacious, larger than it seems from the pictures. Beds and bedding were quite comfortable. If you are a cooking family, as we are, you'll be happy with the moderately-sized, but well-stocked kitchen. Skewers for the bbq? got 'em. Dash of curry powder for a recipe? got it. etc, etc, etc The kids were happy to play in the finished basement, including a lovely barbie house and mini-foosball table. House location is great too. About 1.5 miles from the village so an easy bike ride or a very quick car trip. Owner was very easy to deal with and always accessible. My deposit was returned in under a week.

A BEAUTIFUL HOUSE WITH AN AMAZING BACKYARD.....

We have never been so impressed with a rental home before! The house was beautiful, clean, and very spacious.There was so much to do in the house, including a large tennis court and basketball court, that we didn't have to leave for entertainment. There was even toys for the kids and grandchildren and they were always entertained. Our family loved the backyard area and we had so much fun in the pool which was was extremely clean and very kept up. It was hard to leave after the week was done.

Vacation here... You won't be disappointed!

This is a wonderful family house with a beautiful, well-maintained pool. The pool and tennis court were highlights for my entire family, including my 2 grandchildren, ages 4 and 2. We enjoyed this house during the very hot July 4th week. A problem with the central air conditioning occurred late on July 3rd, so I contacted the owner. Early the next morning, a repairman arrived, and in a short time, the ac was fixed. We were all very impressed that on the July 4th Holiday, the owner managed to have a repairman arrive first thing in the morning to restore the comfort of the ac.... an exceptionally fast response to our needs. Because my family had a delightful vacation here, we are eagerly anticipating renting this special house again in 2013.

So relaxing, we didn't want to leave!

A group of friends and I rented the house for the weekend and it was so comfortable, we barely left the house all weekend! We've stayed in many vacation homes and this has raised the bar for all future vacation rentals. It's like being at a resort, it is clean, has all the supplies you need and has plenty of space but still feels homey. The owner was also such a pleasure to deal with, very accommodating and responsive. We are already looking forward to coming back in the future!

Awesome relaxing weekend in East Hampton!

My friends and I just returned from a weekend stay in East Hampton. We loved it and already look forward to coming back next year! We really got so much more than expected. The house comes with all sorts of amenities (we made full use of the pool and tennis court), house was clean, spacious and comfortable but not cluttered which is nice when you rent a home. The house was also very child friendly. Our 2 and 4 yr olds were delighted to find a tricycle and a bicycle w/training wheels in the garage to use! The deck had a latching door that unlocked/locked from the other side that kept the little kids safe from wandering to the pool. It is also very close to a few towns if you want to go for a meal, walk or ice cream. The owners were a pleasure to deal with, very accommodating and helpful in every way. I strongly recomend this house for vacation.
