With four bedrooms, five bathrooms, two living rooms, large kitchen, private beach, stunning sunsets, and stocked fire pit this property offers a large family or two families an unrivaled place to unwind. Paddle in the cool waters or bring your Kayaks and follow the bay around to the Port Austin town center. Sit by the waters edge of an evening eating smores or quietly read under the shade of Pergola . A local restaurant half a mile away can also supply pizza and bar style food. One and a half miles into the village there a multiple places to eat.

Inside the house three of the bedrooms are ensuite. An upstairs second living room can be a place to play cards, games look over the lake. Full laundry facilities make life easy and a kitchen with all the mod cons allow you to dine in and eat around a family table for 10.
It has it all in this quiet cul-de-sac .

The house was beautifully spacious and fit our family well (7 adults and 3 small children). The view from inside was nice. The living room fit us and felt clean (especially for the littles playing). The kitchen was large and roomy to cook, eat, and play games. The beach has some sand for kids to play in, and we had to be careful entering the water. The “shelf” rock got slippery, but when you went further it was sandy and small rocks (good water shoes are helpful). The water was safe for the littles (shallow and small waves). We hope to return!

We had a wonderful time and the home is just Beautiful! Great location, very clean and enough rooms for our family as well as bathroom in every bedroom . Would definitely stay again!

The view was excellent from the minute we walked in the door! The beach was also extremely nice, with enough beach sand for the kids to play with the sand toys provided. The baby gate, crib and highchair were so helpful. The kids toys in the closet were fun, my granddaughter had a one man band everyday.Above and beyond for plates, bowls utensils including some great steak knives.Full selection of pots and pans with cookie sheets and oven ware to cook. Mark and Ann were extremely helpful and great hosts. The welcome basket was the Best. The food safe fire starters in the basket were unbelievable to start the beach firepit which was so beautiful right on the beach. I came home and ordered the Go Fire starters when we returned. The gas bbq was clean and ready to go. All of the appliances were new and up to date. We can only say Great Things about this home!Sunsets with a fire on the beach made for a PERFECT Week!

The house was spacious, comfortable and clean. The views were fabulous and and the location was quiet.We loved the fire ring next to the lake. It was nice to have a dining table that could seat 10 comfortably. There were several rooms one could retreat to for quiet reading.Highly recommended!

As a retired logistics guy I like to keep busy building or renovating things. This property was one of those projects that took me 3 years to finish only recently completing it in 2024. With 3200 square ft of living you everyone can find a little hideaway . It is truly a place to relax and one which we decided to share with others when not being used by the family. It is a very special place to unwind, canoe, relax, watch sunsets, read, play and watch others play. ..So why not share that.

Derfor valgte værten dette overnatningssted

We chose the location because it is a quiet dead end street that winds away from any main roads . The house faces west for perfect sunsets and you could literally be anywhere in the world with nobody crowding you. With woods across the street that we and all the neighbors own give peace of mind and give another view point of the local animals and birds.( Humming birds in particular visiting the porch and deer grazing 20 yards away and even rare Goshawks have been seen nearby.
The neighbors are quiet and unobtrusive yet supportive of each other. It truly is a special spot to hide away with your own private access to the lake.
It is not a heavy water sport lake with canoeing or paddle boarding being the dominant fun thing to do. Fishing boats can also be seen some 400 yards of shore. However that is what makes it not to hectic and mostly quiet.
If you want to explore there are some stunning beaches up and down the shore that people can utilize and 1.5miles away there is a down town with 8 different eating places or shopping as well as the well known Saturday market. What else do you need ?

The house was built with many windows facing the lake giving a panoramic view unrivalled by almost every other property. The interior is open plan yet has many rooms to hide out in and the 10 ft ceilings give it a really spacious feel. There are two living rooms. One upstairs and one downstairs give further places to view the lake from other stunning angles or just sit and chat or play games.
Everything in the house is brand new and has been decorated in a minimalistic way so as not to clutter the space and mind.
The house has many exterior places to sit both lakeside and front of house with a cozy porch out of the sun.
Architecturally the rooms on the house are all different with high or pointed ceilings that make it a unique place to hang out.
