Stylish beachfront condo walking distance to beach, pool, pier and restaurants!
Summary:
A beach vacation paradise! This is a one bedroom, oceanfront "Sea Cabin" on the first floor. This sea cabin can sleep five with a queen bed in the bedroom, futon sofa in the living room (replaced July of 2025), and a built in youth bunk bed for kids in the hallway (full disclosure: these are youth bunk beds, which are skinnier than a twin, and I would not recommend children over 10 years old in them). The dimensions of the youth bunk bed are roughly 74"x25".
The Space:
Enjoy the private balcony with ocean views, gated community (non heated) pool, beach access, and fishing pier. This condo has a fully equipped kitchen with two bars and a full bathroom. There is a laundry facility in the middle of the complex. Located at the beautiful front beach on Isle of Palms with restaurants, shops, grocery store and ice cream stands all within walking distance. The Sea Cabins have the only private pier on the island and you are allowed to fish off the pier but will need a South Carolina fishing license.
There is free WI-FI and cable. The Sea Cabins are located just 20 minutes from historic Downtown Charleston, 30 minutes from CHS airport and 5 minutes from 2 world class golf courses in Wild Dunes!
No washer/dryer inside of unit, only in the middle of complex which takes coins or you can use an app on your phone.
There are a few steps to get up to the first floor.
Cleaning information: At this property we provide starter "essentials" like a hotel, but we don't have the maids come back each day to restock what was used. In addition to the complete professional cleaning between guests, we provide a few travel soaps and shampoos, two rolls of TP per bathroom, one roll of paper towels, hand soap for the sink, two trash bags, two laundry and dish pods, and fresh linens for all beds. We also leave one towel, hand towel, and wash cloth per guest the home sleeps. We do not provide beach towels.
We manage multiple other sea cabins so ask about booking more than one!

The Isle of Palms is a 7-mile-long barrier island in South Carolina, located approximately 12–15 miles east of downtown Charleston and accessed via the Isle of Palms Connector (SC-517) from Mount Pleasant. Situated between the Atlantic Ocean and the Intracoastal Waterway, it is known for its 6 miles of white sandy beaches, residential community, and the Wild Dunes Resort.

Throughly enjoyed our stay at Sea Cabins. Unit very clean, convenient parking and the closeness to the beach was wonderful! Swam often in the pool also! Walk to main drag and restaurants was just minutes away! And our host Robert was amazing during booking and check in! Thank you again Robert for our wonderful memories made at IOP!

Clean unit as described in listing. Close to everything that one would need for a beach trip. Ideal for families with smaller kids or couples. Had a great trip for our first time to the Isle of Palms

Overall great place to stay on the beach! The place is straightforward and everything that was advertised. The communication we got from the host was second to none! We would rent this place again!

Great location and value. Had a AC issue, Robert quickly addressed it and was very accommodating. I would definitely book again

It was just what we needed, it was clean, area was excellent, kitchen was small but quaint. Excellent place to vacation at the beach.

Condo 142 overall was maintained okay, I did however have to use the vacuum to vacuum the futon due to the sand, chips, etc. when I opened it. Just FYI I would NOT use the futon for anyone to sleep on! It would be nice if they had a pull-out couch. The bunk beds are definitely for small children. The bathroom had plenty of towels, wash cloths, and toiletries. Make sure to bring your own blow dryer. The condo is on the first floor so beware that you will be hearing Everything upstairs! If you have a large family with a lot of beach supplies and plan on using a wagon, this is NOT the place for you. Beach access is right in front of the condo BUT there are stairs!!! You have to pick up anything on wheels. Remember also that there are no elevators so you have to climb stairs (even if you are on the first floor).ALSO... This property is OLD and REALLY NEEDS to be upgraded!!! The outside needs so much work, and I hate to say there are many safety hazards! Let me say lastly that the host was very Informative and check-in and check-out were so easy.I will not be staying here again just because of outside of building safety issues, beach access, and no elevators.

Thank you for staying at our Isle of Palms Front Beach Property! We would also not recommend a one bedroom sea cabin for a large family. We offer larger homes for bigger groups and larger families. Thanks again for staying!

We enjoyed all the amenities this place has to offer! There were a couple of minor hiccups at the end of our trip and Robert was wonderful to communicate with. Our kids were older, so the sleeping arrangements weren’t ideal. But for smaller kids it would be perfect. But nobody complained, we had a great time and would return!

Great stay
Great location. Within walking distance to beach, food and fun. Would definitely stay again. Was here for my kids travel ball tournament and had a great time.

Great location! Very clean and had everything we need. Bed was a little hard which is the only complaint I had.
