Fully renovated beachfront condo! Walk to beach, pool, pier and restaurants!
A beachgoers dream! This one bedroom oceanfront "Sea Cabin" is on the first floor and has been meticulously updated (2024 renovation). This sea cabin can sleep five with a queen bed in the bedroom, pull out sofa bed in the living room, and built in youth bunk bed for kids in the hallway (full disclosure: these are youth bunk beds, which are skinnier than a twin, and I would not recommend children over 10 years old in them). The dimensions of the youth bunk bed are roughly 74"x25".
Enjoy the private balcony with ocean views, Community (non-Heated) Pool, beach access, and fishing pier. This condo has a fully equipped kitchen with an island and a full bathroom featuring a large tiled in standing shower. There is a laundry facility in the middle of the complex.
Located at the beautiful front beach on Isle of Palms with restaurants, shops, grocery store and ice cream stands all within walking distance. The Sea Cabins have the only private pier on the island and you are allowed to fish off the pier but will need a South Carolina fishing license.
There is free WI-FI and cable. The Sea Cabins are located just 20 minutes from historic Downtown Charleston, 30 minutes from CHS airport and 5 minutes from 2 world class golf courses in Wild Dunes!
No washer/dryer inside of unit, only in the middle of complex which takes coins or you can use an app on your phone.
There are a few steps to get up to the first floor.
Cleaning information: At this property we provide starter "essentials" like a hotel, but we don't have the maids come back each day to restock what was used. In addition to the complete professional cleaning between guests, we provide a few travel soaps and shampoos, two rolls of TP per bathroom, one roll of paper towels, hand soap for the sink, two trash bags, two laundry and dish pods, and fresh linens for all beds. We also leave one towel, hand towel, and wash cloth per guest the home sleeps. We do not provide beach towels.
We manage multiple other sea cabins so ask about booking more than one!

We love staying at IOP and love the sea cabins amenities such as the pool and pier. Very convenient to the beach and other activities. The room was newly renovated and nice. The only downside was the room could have been cleaned better (upon arrival there were dirty dishes that had been put away, the floors were still sandy and the some of the kitchen drawers had crumbs). The place is extra clean and cute, everything you could need in kitchen. Beautiful walk in shower too. Convenient to many restaurants some within walking distance, others a short nice ride away! We are in our late seventies and we had such a great, relaxing fun time! Thank you Robert (rental agent who is fabulous)! We will be back!

I would only recommend this property for a family of 4. 2 adults and 2 SMALL children. The bunk beds are misleading as in they are not your normal twin size. The pull out couch is extremely uncomfortable due to its a pull out bed in a couch and has a bar sticking in your back while trying to sleep. They did think of some things. Boogie boards, beach chairs, hairdryer, extra blankets. It’s an old property near the ocean so just don’t expect cleanliness or things to be clean and rust free. Oh and DEFINITELY do not hang beach towels from the porch railing you’ll get a nice gentleman to knock on the door and tell you it’s against code! Although I saw several other condo’s with multiple units having towels hanging from the railings. Host was very good at communication but extremely sassy in their reply when I told them the unit smelled like mold. They claimed it had rained and did I have any “experience” with mold! I personally would not stay here again. Host also mentions that in the listing it says “youth bunkbeds” so it must be a Vrbo issue because I specifically input 5 adults in my search and this property popped up. Or I guess it could be 100% my fault for not reading the entire listing.

We are sorry to hear that the property was not what you were looking for. With 70 verified reviews, and an "Exceptional" rating, we are in VRBO's highest tier and are also Premier Hosts, so your review is an anomaly. We try very hard to give everyone a wonderful vacation and fix anything that is brought to our attention. We did not get a message from you until after you checked out. We do state early in the description that the hallway bunk buds are youth beds, not meant for children over 10 years old, and I understand you tried to put a 17 year old in there. We take mold and mildew comments very seriously so I did ask what experience you had in case you had any insight other than "you thought it smelled like mold" after it had rained for two days straight. I believe the bulk of your experience stems from having 5 adults stay in a one bedroom condo, and inclement weather throughout your stay. We hope future guests looking to book will refer to the dozens of other positive reviews where guests had great experiences.

Although we were met by an overwhelming Pine Sol aroma, when we arrived, we were able to quickly air out the condo.Close to grocery store and a great restaurant, Acme Seafood and daily walks on the beach were wonderful. Was raining when we arrived, but the rest of the week was beautiful on the beach and the Charleston area.Had a very nice time
