Whaletopia was the perfect setting for our family vacation! The house accommodated our family with plenty of room, toys and games for our little kids, and beautiful views and beach walks for everyone. Thanks for letting us make so many lifetime memories at a great location.

We had so much fun staying at this property. The house was absolutely amazing, the location perfect for a relaxing get away with easy beach access. We loved the accessibility features in this home for several of us with mobility issues. It was amazing!!! We will be back! Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us.

The house was spectacular! It is in an amazing location with incredible views, easy beach access, and walking distance to Hug Point. We had ten people staying there and it never felt crowded. Between the kitchen, the family room and the porch, everyone had plenty of space. Had good luck fishing for surfperch right in front of the house and was an easy five minute drive into Cannon Beach. I am in a power wheelchair full time and the house could not have been more accessible. Extra wide doorways and halls, plenty of room in the bathroom and seamless access to the porch and firepit area.

Beautiful and peaceful beach house

Whaletopia is a beautiful beach house (pictures accurately represent the property) that is a true beachfront property. You have a full beach/ocean view from all of the rooms. The kitchen is very well appointed with high end appliances and the sitting room is very comfortable. Access to the beach is through a gate in the yard or by walking out the front door and down the short path. The beach is very quiet (not many people) and it is a long/wide beach with beautiful views of rugged rocks in the ocean. There are tide pools at low tide and a waterfall to see (way down the beach). The house was perfect for our group. My Mom (87) very much appreciated the easy access of the first floor and easy access to the beach. Thank you for letting us stay!

I am not someone who writes reviews, but I have to on this one. It is a truly stunning home, a real showstopper. The owners did so many well thought out and clever touches to the home it is hard to go into each detail, but we were impressed with the high-quality building of the home and amenities. Great artwork and decor, picture perfect views inside and out. The price is what we pay but the value is in all the added touches you gave us. There was enough stacked wood for the fire pit plus the treats to make smores for many nights with tons of coffee, teas, spices galore to make our meals if we did not eat out. High quality cooking appliances, utensils etc. plus there are many of them instead of the usual just barely enough to get one meal served. More than enough trash bags, paper products etc. with no need to run to the store as I have always had to do with our other rentals in the past. I plan on coming back with more family next summer for sure, as it would be hard to find one better as we know from experience.

Beautiful house at a beautiful location

We stayed here with grandma and 2 small kids. This place is so well put together- beautiful interior and very clean. The kitchen had every kind of seasoning you could need. Lots of towels, and beach toys. We spent a lot of time playing the many many board games kept at the property. The kids loved the games too and loved the backyard! Lots of rooms and beds. Super convenient to have washer dryer in the house. And the best part was that we were right there on the Pacific Ocean!!! We watched the sunset every evening right from the deck, we chased the waves with the kids every morning. The beach is vast and beautiful and sandy so you could spend hours on the beach - play, build sandcastles, walk around, watch the waves… We drove around the coast and went through other towns like Cannon Beach. While that was so fun too, I have to say that it made us appreciate this area so much. There were hardly any people on the beach so it never ever felt crowded. It’s like having a big sandy beach on the ocean all to yourself!
