Thank you so much for allowing us to stay at your home! It was so close to Laehala Beach Park where our ʻohana reunion was held. Your home reminds me of my childhood days living in Keaukaha!

The host and his tips helped us to make great decisions quickly!We appreciated the accumulation of beach paraphernalia that we didn’t need to shop for, not wasting time and money. Wethe ‘across-the-road’ access to Richardson Beach… so important for families with getter- uppers AND sleeper-inners!

You really cannot beat the location of this house, especially with children in the mix. One snorkel spot is literally across the street, and all the coves and pools along this stretch of road are great for kids and adults. We really love the Hilo side of the island and the Lilikoi house fits right into the vibe. Really appreciated the beach gear & the bajiliion beach towels. Our family of 11 was very happy.

This was such a great place to stay! They had snorkeling supplies, boogie boards, bikes and lots of other choices that made it extra special. The owner let us stay in the house until our plane flew out instead of having us be gone by 11, without charging us, which was so nice. And the beaches across the street and on that road were very popular and fun! It was definitely a great experience with lots of great amenities!

Great property! I highly recommend this beautiful location.

We loved the house and the property! Being so close to Richardsons is amazing. We loved the kitty that hangs around and the kids were sad to say goodbye to her, especially after she had clearly just given birth to babies on our second day. It is well stocked with beach equipment. The property itself is beautiful. We loved waking up to views of the ocean, hearing the rain at night, the lush plants surrounding the property and all of the birds who come to eat the fruit. Mostly yellow beaked cardinals and meijiro.A few things to be aware of if planning a trip with kids. The windows and screens upstairs are not very secure and a small child could easily lean on a screen and fall out a window, so close supervision is necessary. Additionally, there is no internal access between the floors, so children sleeping downstairs have to exit the house. We had one couple sleep downstairs with the kids, so it worked ok, but is good to be aware of when planning sleeping arrangements. If you are sensitive to noise. Bring a sound machine. On the weekend the locals party late and drive loud cars and blast music till late at night. It didn't bother us, but for a light sleeper it might.

Great property managed by customer oriented property owner. Great communication and plenty of tips to enjoy the Big Island. Property could not be located a prettier location and the thousand small touches in the house made it difficult to want to leave and explore the island. best spot in Hilo

Can't beat the location here with such easy access to beach parks, and a quick drive to downtown Hilo. Great family stay to explore the area. Easy communication and access.

My family and I really enjoyed this property! The kitchen and bathrooms were well stocked. The beds were comfortable and there were plenty of fans for added comfort. Richard was a excellent and receptive host. Our favorite things about this house is of course the location! We swam and snorkeled and got to see plenty of wildlife including sea turtles! I would happily stay here again!

Beautiful Views

Convenient location and walk to the beach, we watched surfers from the front window. Spacious, we had 8 adults and the rooms were comfortable. The house has lots of character… it was everything we needed and more! Beautiful stay!

A relaxing home away from home

Loved how accessible the bedroom was. The upstairs had a lovely view of the ocean and was a great place for all of us to congregate and have a great time!

Great position, accommmodated 9 of us ranging from 3 to 72 yrs really well. House is a little rumpty but we loved finishing our active days with pre dinner drinks at the pools over the road and cooling off with an easy dip in one of the many pools. Richard was a really helpful and easy to contact host. Well equiped kitchen.

Great friends & family place!

11 people from 5 different households stayed in this house - everyone had a room, except my son slept on the convertible couch, and we had good space for visiting in the mornings and evenings. The house had plenty of towels including beach towels and all teh necessities that we needed to enjoy the beach and other places that we explored. The host sent great materials ahead of time and communicated quickly during our stay.

Good location

My family enjoyed our stay in the house. The kids especially enjoyed being able to walk across the street and snorkel with turtles. The owner is very available and helpful. We appreciated the information book with all the details and opinions.

Best location in Hilo!

This place was perfect for our family. The host was very easy to get a hold of and the house had everything we needed. We only had to walk across the street to see sea turtles! Its a great spot just slightly out of the busy area of town. I would highly recommend staying more then a day in Hilo. You can find so many places to get away from crowds.
