You've found your Piece of Heaven with this cozy, handcrafted log cottage! Enjoy the stream out your back door or relax in the hot tub, while nestled in the pines. The central location of this home will make it easy to enjoy all the Black Hills activities - only 5 miles from Sheridan Lake, minutes from Hiking and biking trails, Hill City with restaurants and shopping and local wineries and breweries! Walk into a warm and inviting great room with an open concept. This living space features oversized windows and 2 sets of patio doors letting in tons of natural light. Watch the big game on the flat screen, enjoy the ambiance of the gas stove or cook meals in the well equipped kitchen featuring granite countertops and stainless steel appliances. The main level has a master bedroom with Queen bed and 1 full bathroom. Upstairs is another bedroom with a queen bed, an open loft area with a queen bed and a 2nd full bathroom. Very nice place. Very convenient to all the sitesVery peaceful location. We barbecued a couple of times and enjoyed the woods. Saw a few deer. Really great time

Family trip

This is a great location and has a lot of extras for family fun. The shower/bath on the main level doesn’t drain very well and the water is brown so looks gross, but it is manageable. It isn’t technically a 3-bedroom, so read the details carefully. The 1 bedroom upstairs is attached to the bathroom upstairs so the open bed upstairs has to use the main level bath or go through the upstairs bedroom. It gets HOT during the day. Lots of windows and only a small air unit, similar to a window air unit. Not very easy to temperature control the cabin. It is off a busy highway, which is nice for access but not as private as it appeared.

Hill city

Great cabin within short distance of everything in the black hills. We loved our stay. Fireplace didn’t work which was the only disappointing thing. Hot tub was great, the kids toys in the cabin were great for our little one and drinking coffee in them morning was wonderful!

A very nice cabin retreat, clean and very well furnished with lots of games, puzzles and other things for the family to do. We appreciate your sharing your home with us!

Relaxing

The property was easy to get to and check in everything was in working order but could use some updating it was fairly clean… it was a great stay.

Great time near Mt Rushmore

The house was cozy and the view was amazing. We saw deer every night and there was a goose that visited us everyday.

Could be very nice

Location is great. Check in was great. We were there with a big group so we also got to see two other properties next to this house. The property management did great with no issues. I emailed about the water being brown and they immediately called and I missed it because we didn’t have service but we communicated through email. They tried to take care of the issue and got a hold of the owner and they said it was fine to use and even drink. We did not drink it. I did fill 2 glasses with water and let them set and the water really didn’t lookToo brown. We bathed our grandson and the water looked terribly brown. After a couple of days there I am not sure that the water isn’t too bad it is the bathtubs, toilets, sinks being not clean or maybe stained. The downstairs bathroom has mold in spots and maybe dirty or stained not sure. The shower curtain used to be white or off white maybe but is also stained brown severely. Had we been there longer I would have spent a day cleaning. The floors were vacuumed somewhat.. I did get the vacuum out to vacuum and it was so full of dirt, lent, hair I had to clean out the vacuum before vacuuming. It wasn’t just disgusting but was dirty. When we booked I picked this house and it was actually the most expensive of the 3 to choose from. The other 2 houses were much nicer, cleaner and up to date that this one. I do have photos.

Beautiful views with nice location

We had a very nice time staying at this VRBO home. The location was perfect for all we wanted to do. The home was clean and we loved the hot tub. The only thing we were disappointed about was that the internet was extremely slow where our grandkids could not stream any of their shows. I had to turn my phone into a hotspot just to speed it up a little bit.

Wonderful Vacation

The property was excellent. We enjoyed the peaceful setting while still being close the monuments and parks. We had an awesome vacation.

Summer Stay

We loved our stay in this cabin. It was clean and homey. We were able to message about anything we needed and got responses fairly quickly. We would definitely stay here again!

Getaway

We were out for High School State Tennis wanting a peaceful place to unwind at the end of the day and spend some extra time enjoying the forest for hiking and solitude. Didn't spend a ton of time at the property or use a lot of the amenities, but the hot tub was great, the place was quiet. Pleased and would recommend!
