BHI Family vacation

The house is beautiful, well-maintained and an ideal location. Beach is very wide and not crowded. We had six adults and 2 children ages 3 and 5 staying the week. Casa de Lux is ideally located, easy, quick access to BHI Club, Maritime Market and coffee/ ice cream shops. Easy and fun ride to the Conservatory for amazing Italian ice dessert.

It is a lovely home and the best highlight is direct access to the beach. The kitchen is well-stocked annd the interior of the home was lovely. Our family of 10 had a fabulous week! Three golf carts were a very fun part of the trip, allowing us to go a few different ways. The weather was hot, but sunny with no rain. If it had been a rainy week, the house would have not been nearly as much fun.We enjoyed the Turtle Trot, Howling at the moon, lunch at The Jailhouse, and a fabulous dinner at Cozumel. It was an adventure that our family will treasure!

Our family had an amazing stay on BHI this year. This was our favorite house yet and we hope to stay again. The house is beautiful. The location and amenities can’t be beat. I always bring kitchen gear, not knowing what a house will have, but this house had everything! And the ping pong game room was endlessly entertaining for our group of parents and twenty-somethings. Thanks for sharing the house!

BHI Dream Vacation

This beautiful beach house on Bald Head Island was the perfect getaway for our family. It offers private beach access, 3 golf carts, and close proximity to the BHI Club. The house has all the modern amenities and is spotless. We enjoyed the club activities, exploring the island on golf carts, and a catered boil on the deck (Cape Fear Boil Co). The host is very accommodating and quick to respond to any questions. We will definitely rent again and highly recommend.

We enjoyed an exceptional, happy, memorable stay at Casa de Lux. The house was the best VRBO we’ve ever visited. Its location and layout were perfect, kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans, dishes and utensils, check-in and check out was smooth and easy, golf carts were fully charged, and the house book was truly informative. Yoga on the deck following morning beach walks… perfect way to start the days. The easy beach access made a huge difference, as did the supplied towels, skim boards, beach chairs, etc. Everything was easy. Highly recommend guest passes at nearby and walkable BHI Club. Have to mention the property management service - also exceptional. Audrey and Mark were responsive to our advance questions and went beyond the call of duty for us first-time BHI visitors. 5 plus — in every way.
