(Please no parties or events the house is only for 6 people max due to it being on septic ) This recently remodeled home offers a tranquil escape at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac, surrounded by mature trees. Enjoy peaceful mornings on the back patio, overlooking a spacious backyard and the nearby woods, teeming with birds and wildlife. In the evenings, relax by the fire pit where you may get a glimpse of wild turkeys or deer meander along the tree line. With 3 bedrooms and 2.5 baths, this home is ideal for a family getaway, long-term stays, or a temporary retreat on your way to the Blue Ridge Mountains. It’s also a great choice for anyone relocating to the Charlotte area while they search for their permanent home. Conveniently located just minutes from grocery stores and local amenities, this property is also close to horse farms and within 30 minutes of Charlotte, Carowinds, Lake Wylie, Crowders Mountain, and the Catawba 2 Kings Casino. (Please no parties or events). Please note that the fireplace is not operable. And no smoking inside the house.

The house is in a nice, quiet neighborhood that is easy to get too. The house was very comfortable for six adults.

Quick stay

We stopped on our way to the beach for a one night stay. The beds were super comfy, and the dart board was a big hit during a rainy night. We will return next year.

Great place!

Very nice house, amenities, and location! Our family enjoyed our stay at the property. We invited family for dinner not knowing visitors were not allowed. Otherwise, our stay was perfect and would recommend the place and owner!

Country in the City

Loved the character of the house and its hominess. It had everything needed to prepare meals and bake some pastries. The guys enjoyed the woods and fire pit . Thank you for sharing your home, we had a great time with our family.

Gastonia House

Older home in a peaceful neighborhood not too far from town. Only issue we had was all bedrooms are located on the second floor so older adults had to climb the stairs which were a little steep. Otherwise no complaints. Host responded timely to all communications.

Frozen

The house was clean and tidy. However, when we arrived, someone was parked in the drive. We had to knock on a door to find the owner of the vehicle in order to park. Once inside, the temperature was 52 degrees. We turned on the heat and by the next morning, it was only 62 degrees. We had to sleep in our clothes because it was so cold on the inside of the house. Other than these issues, we liked the house.

Quiet getaway

This house/location was just what we needed for our vacation. Very quiet area about 20 mins from mountains/grocery stores. We enjoyed Tony's Ice Cream and Enzo's Pizza in Gastonia but made all other meals at the home. We visited the botanical gardens and were less than an hour from Great Wolf Lodge. Our group of 3 adults and 1 child all had their own space. As mentioned in other reviews, staircase is steep and all bedrooms are on the 2nd story (may not be best choice for the elderly).There is a handrail and we all took it slow. Great laundry room and comfy furniture. Beautiful backyard that my niece loved running around in. We loved the outdoor recliners and have purchased some for our own home. Thanks, Mark, for sharing your home with us. We made some great memories on this trip!

Home away from home

We were in town for a few days for a wedding and wanted a cozy but spacious place for our family of 6 to stay. Mark’s home was lovely and just what we needed and more. The home was very clean and very well stocked with anything you could need. There were even snacks and wine when we arrived. Mark has really thought of everything and was very quick to respond during booking when I had questions and very thoughtful to give us places nearby to eat and things to do in the area. We loved the Groovy Beast restaurant btw! The property has gorgeous views in the back of a nice wooded area and an amazing deck with a screened in porch too. We spent our mornings and evenings there listening to birds ( even an owl) and a wild turkey even showed up. We didn’t get time to use the firepit but we did love lounging in the room playing darts and listening to music. It’s an absolutely comfortable place in a nice neighborhood with modern amenities while still having all the extra touches to make it feel like a home away from home. Tysm Mark for opening your home to us! We loved our stay!

Baseball trip

House was as described and vey clean. We stayed there a few night while our son played baseball in Clover SC. Only 20 minutes from fields and enjoyed cooking out on the grill each night to relax. Will definitely book again if in town for another tournament.

Some issues

Dirty washcloth over shower in nonmaster bathroom. So many loose boards in deck it could not be safely used. Need to say that all bedrooms are up a steep flight of 8 stairs. Floors were clean but all furniture except the table covered with dust. Outside is unkept. No propane for grill. Had to buy remote batteries. Batteries in drawer all dead. Dirty towels in close basket. Patio looked great in pictures. No umbrella. Outside not really usable space. No answer from host about the grill. Ended up cooking hamburgers and chicken meant for grilling on the inside

Reunion with College Friends

My friends and I loved staying in this very comfortable house in a beautiful setting. We especially enjoyed the screened in deck overlooking the woods. Our contact person, Mark, was easy to reach and very friendly.

I came to South Carolina to visit my grandchildren. Our rental was fairly close to their house and so convenient. It was a lovely place, very nicely appointed, and close to everything. On our next visit to Clover South Carolina we will definitely stay at the same place!

On the way home

We were on our way home from visiting The Billy Graham library. The house was very comfy for the 6 of us women. Located in a quiet neighborhood, The House was cleanwefelt safe.
