Beautiful property

This property is beautiful and the proximity to the stairs from parking was amazing. It was also very close to the water and the boardwalk to get to the beach was not a long walk at all.

We loved the location, check in and check out was easy. The floors were very dirty, our feet were black from the start. Bedrooms were comfy, the tub in one room had a large amount of hair clogging the drain… the stove didn’t fully work, the two larger burners were broken. The dryer took multiple hours to dry anything. The balcony furniture needs to be replaced. It was very rusty and stained all of our clothes. The chairs were literally crumbling at the bottom. The railing was broken as well. almost perfect weekend

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We stayed at Surf Side Shore and the unit was perfect for what we needed. It had easy access to the beach and even had beach chairs/innertube/ boogie boards for us to use. The only thing that would have made it better is if the weather had been sunnier!

Beach fun!

The property was clean, the back bedroom was very warm even though thermostat was set on 67 degrees, we never actually communicated with the owner even though I messaged them and was an hour late getting into the condo because it wasn’t clean yet.

review-1206

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was more than happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Horrible. We booked a 10 person condo at Ocean House, after paying, it was not available, moved to 8 person at SS 1206. First night, the bed in first bedroom broke, now down to 6 places to sleep. Tub in first bedroom did not work. Shower in master bathroom drained so slowly it overflowed with each use. Will not stay at Surf Side again, will not rent from Gulf Shores Rentals again.

Thank you for your review. We sincerely apologize that this guest was disappointed with their stay. If any issues arise with a condo, we are always ready to send housekeeping or maintenance to resolve them. Unfortunately, the maintenance work needed on the first unit was beyond our control, which required moving the guest to another unit. Additionally, we did send maintenance to fix the bed, though the guest did not mention this. We were not informed about the bathtub or shower concerns, so we were unable to address those. Any suggestions for updates will be passed along to the appropriate party. At Gulf Shores Rentals, we are constantly working to improve our properties to ensure an enjoyable stay for our guests. Thank you again! - Gulf Shores Rentals
