Everything was wonderful! We loved the balcony and the view! My only request would be to have some grilling tools in the kitchen. Also, the listing should state that the beach chairs for rent take up a good part of the beach.

Great condo and great location!

We thoroughly enjoyed our month long stay. The property was very nice and the heated whirlpool and lap pool were a bit hit!

This condo was beautiful and was stocked for everything we needed for the week. Lots of space and the balcony was large and had a great view.

Weekend stay

Perfect location on beach, great weekend getaway. Super clean, great view, nice pool. Not overwhelmed with tourist shops and souvenir stores. Local restaurants nearby as well as Publix grocery store. We enjoyed The Oyster Bar 2 nights in a row and the Perdido Key Breakfast Club

A minor incident at the pool was initially reported to Southern Vacation Rentals and resulted in a warning. Drinks near the pool although my husband immediately complied with the pool attendant’s request and believed the matter was resolved. (You need bottled water only) However, the following evening, an HOA/property management representative named Paula came to our condo with an older gentlemen and told our family of five that we had to leave the property. We were never given a fair opportunity to explain our side before such an extreme decision was made. Having to suddenly pack our entire family, leave the condo on the second evening of our vacation was incredibly stressful and completely disrupted our trip. I do want to give Southern Vacation Rentals credit for relocating us to another property and assisting us that evening. My concern and reason for this review is specifically the HOA/property management at Palacio and the amount of authority they appear to have over vacation renters.I strongly recommend that anyone considering Palacio understand the HOA rules and enforcement policies before booking. No other family should have their vacation disrupted this drastically over a minor incident without being given an opportunity to explain what happened. I hope the HOA and other property management companies realize how Paula and staff are handling guests unfairly and unprofessionally.We loved the other condo we moved to.

The Condo its self was great. The complex was clean and parking is tight. The issues that we had. The new Lock system kept malfunctioning and our arm bands would not unlock doors around complex.The gym doesn’t open until 8am. So my usual 6am workout was delayed. Our last night. One of the guest had a speaker on playing music at the pool. The volume was so loud, that we couldn’t hear each other talk on our balcony. We did ask them to turn it down. They did alittle. We called management company to complain, nothing happened. The music played until 9:45 pm. Couldn’t go to sleep because the music was playing so loud. Which could have been fixed if there was on sight security as they had in years past. We have stayed at this complex several times over the years. This was the first time we’ve ever had issues.

Loved!!!!! the view and that is what we came for. Was not happy that we couldn't leave the sliding door open because we wanted to lay in bed and hear the waves. Loved!!!!! the tall balcony furniture but would have also liked to have a lounger (rather than the table with 3 chairs). Loved!!!!! The pool area. We came at a good time when there were not a lot of people because school had just started. Now the not so good....There was streaming for the TVs but no local stations to watch local news and football games. The 2 blue couches are also pullout beds and VERY uncomfortable to sit on. After the first night we couldn't sit on them because our butts were going numb. There was only 1 halfway decent (small) frying pan to cook eggs and pancakes. The rest had deep scratches from using the metal utensils that were there instead of the plastic ones. There were a couple of light bulbs out. It would be nice if check out were 10:00a instead of 9:00a. We will definitely come back to the Palacio but to a different unit. If the negatives were resolved with this unit we would definitely come back to this unit because we loved the 5th floor view and the balcony.

We come to this area 2 or 3 times every year so we have been in many properties. This unit was not well cleaned. There were chips by the couch, a water bottle by the bed and several of the dishes were dirty. A hot tub was advertised with this property but the water temperature was no different than the cool pool water. Because of a contract with the local beach chair rental company, 80% of the beachfront near the water was unusable to guests who brought their own chairs, which we did. And finally, the 9 am checkout time was the earliest we’ve experienced and not at all convenient for those hoping to spend one last relaxed morning.
