1947 Renovated Beach Cottage w/ Private Heated Pool - 150 yards from the Beach!

Stella’s Hideaway is a 1947 original island beach cottage that has been renovated to modern standards while keeping its character. New metal roof with spray foam insulation. It is a breezy, beautiful 150 yard stroll to the public beach access located next to The King & Prince Resort. Everything is within walking distance. The island's best restaurants are right at your finger tips, The Crab Trap, CrabDaddy's, Fiddlers, Barrier Island Brewing Company and Beachcomber are less than 70 yards away. Golf cart and bike rentals are closely available as well. There are also several beach and souvenir shops in the same vicinity.

This home is as comfortable inside as it is on the outside. The living room is very open and cozy. Each bedroom is light and airy with all new soft bedding and linens. New chaise lounges align the landscaped fenced in yard with a private custom built saltwater heated pool with quiet high efficiency equipment. Escape the sun and curl up with a good book on the large sectional sofa under the covered patio area with an extra large industrial outdoor ceiling fan that puts out the precise amount of air needed to remain perfectly content. This outdoor area is idyllic for entertaining with a 55 inch television, a brand new Weber Spirit E310 natural gas outdoor grill piped directly from the house and charcoal grill. There is also an outdoor shower located next to the pool area for washing off after a fun day at the beach.

The home is equipped with Xfinity cable and Internet, including all movie channels. High definition televisions are located in all bedrooms, living room and pool area for your convenience.

We loved staying here! Plenty of room for our family of 6. The pool was used everyday even when the high one day was only 48 degrees! Location is great. We want to return next year!

Wonderful place to stay. The house was spacious and very well-equipped with lots of kitchen supplies, beach chairs, and pool floats. We enjoyed being able to come back daily to the heated pool. It was easy to walk to the beach and restaurants nearby. Would highly recommend.

Stella’s was very clean, cozy and comfy. We enjoyed our stay very much. The home is in a nice location. We walked to Crab Daddy’s for dinner on our first evening. The food was great! It was also nice to be able to take a warm swim in the pool as it was a little too chilly to get in the ocean. We had a couple of questions during our stay and the owner was very responsive. We would definitely recommend.

This location was perfect for a cousins get-away. The house is cozy and quaint with good use of the space. We hung out at the pool, had space to play games and a craft night. The small kitchen was well stocked; we cooked one night even doing a full fondue meal. We had brought our own utensils but did not need them for cooking. The host was very helpful in our planning and when we arrived. St. Simon Island has beautiful beaches and a very easy to get around city. We will keep this house marked for future stays.

Kenyon's home was a perfectly blissful beach retreat during our family vacation to SSI! Kenyon was responsive host and everything was exactly as described/pictured in the listing. We were impressed with the thoughtful touches throughout, from the well-appointed kitchen to the pool towels and floats to enjoy in the relaxing saltwater pool. This sweet bungalow takes you back in time. It is unique and charming. It has all you need for the pool and for going to the beach. There is a washer and dryer, plenty of towels, tv’s everywhere, and the kitchen is very well-equipped. A short walk to restaurants and the beach, Stella’s Hideaway makes it easy to relax and enjoy St Simons.

What an AMAZING home. There are so many great things about this cottage:1.) So close to the beach. They provided chairs and a soft cooler. We walked to the beach multiple times a day and it was amazing! 2.) The house and kitchen has enough of everything! We’ve stayed in homes before with 6 forks or 8 towels. This home is stocked with plenty of almost everything you could think of.3.) THE POOL!! We spent hours outside in the pool. There is a tv, sofa, Adirondack chairs, and chaise loungers. We loved every minute spent outside! 4.) The location and island. There are restaurants within walking distance. The beach is a 7 minute walk, and the island is extraordinary. We had a great time and would definitely stay here again!!

Cute Cottage

The cottage was very clean. Beds were very comfortable. Love the pool area and pool. Beach was close by as well as several good restaurants.

Wonderful stay

The house had a great location near good restaurants, the beach, and about a mile walk to the shops and pier. The pool was a great additon and the owner was always responsive to messages. Would stay here again.

Spring Break family vacay

Lovely vacation stay. The kitchen is wonderfully stocked. Heated pool was used daily and had great poolside seating options. Plenty of pool and bathroom towels were included. Walking distance to several restaurants and the beach for food and sun and sunrises. The host was very responsive to any questions and was very kind and helpful.

Wonderful house in a great location

We rented this home for a group of friends and it was perfect for our trip. We loved having a pool at the house, and the location was a short walk to the beach and to some great restaurants. Very clean and cute cottage! We hope to return!

This neighborhood is in a perfect location. It is a quiet and peaceful area that has all Saint Simons has to offer right at your fingertips. The best restaurants are within 70 yards of the home, along with golf cart and bike rentals nearby. There are also several beach and souvenir shops in the vicinity.
