We had a great stay! The location was perfect for our trip—being so close to Cherry Springs State Park made stargazing incredibly convenient, and having a local shop and restaurant nearby was very helpful. The place was clean and comfortable, and had everything we needed. The host was great to deal with as well.

Wow, Nice place! Very spacious and well thought out. Perfect location to travel anywhere in Potter and other surrounding counties. We frequent Potter to ride side by side and have stayed a few places, this is the best. We will definitely book again next trip.

Wonderful, clean, and well-equipped home away from homeOur stay was lovely from start to finish. The property was incredibly clean and comfortable. We loved the kitchen, which was stocked with excellent equipment. The main activity was to do fishing in the area. The front porch was an excellent location to sit and enjoy our evenings. It’s in a great location, and we would definitely stay here again in the future.

Josh was a pleasure to work with. The house is beautiful and very well situated to ATV trails for riding. Would recommend and look forward to staying again.

This beautiful place is a great location for all. Doesn't matter what you do, it's a nice place to get away and breathe in the fresh air. There's plenty of attractions to chase after if you're an outdoor enthusiast. There are a number state parks in the area if you enjoy visiting those locations. We've spent many years on Kettle Creek, which was our go to for the weekend when we were staying at the lodge. You have everything you need to stay here. Beds are comfortable, bathrooms are spacious, plenty of room on the first floor at the kitchen/living room area. Porch is a perfect size to just simply hang out. We stored a bunch of items on the porch for the kiddos which made it convenient for them. Always good to have plenty of room when you go on vacation with your friends and family! Josh communicated well with us which is a plus. If you're thinking about staying here, then go for it! You have to experience it for yourself. We'll be returning again!

Excellent Trip

The place was amazing, the kitchen, the decor, the property and its at the beginning of the UTV trail. Josh is very communicating and on top of things.We will definitely stay here again.

Yes. Everything was nice. Their fireplace was not usable and the first day the driveway was very icy but we managed the rest of the week. I would like to rent again next time spring or summer.

Plenty of space for everyone. Home had everything we needed...large well-equipped kitchen, nice bathrooms with plush towels, and even a first aid kit. We did find the concrete floors to be slippery and cold and were surprised that there were other homes on the property.

We had a wonderful Labor Day at Nature's Retreat. My family of 8, 5 adults and 3 children under 7 loved it. It was very clean and comfortable. You might want to bring a fan as the bedrooms get a little warm at night.The fire pit is wonderful! We had a fire from morning until night some days.Great spot if you ride UTV or 4wheelers

We had 5 adults and 1 infant and found this home to be spacious and clean with very thoughtfully stocked kitchen and bathrooms. The addition of a pack and play and video monitor was especially appreciated! The host was very polite and we'd definitely recommend, we usually go to the area for star gazing and were absolutely able to do that but the home is somewhat close to others on the property and the grounds are a little sloped so not as easy navigating in the dark with red light but otherwise an awesome stay!

Wonderful get away

Group of friends just looking to spend a weekend together and explore the area. Pictures online don’t do the place justice- first it was so clean! All bedrooms were upstairs- one full bath on each level. Kitchen was great- we ended up hanging out in there most of the time and the large table was great for games/ cards

This is a newer house with all the amenities. The kitchen is large (even has soft-close cabinets) & comes with all dishes, pots & pans, and cutlery. For being out in the country, I was pleasantly surprised at how clean the inside was...no cobb webs, spider webs, dust bunnies, or even insects. We really enjoyed the covered patio and the firepit just a few steps away. A few things that were strange to me: All (5) bedrooms are upstairs, so if steps aren't your thing, this is not the house for you. There are (8) locked doors downstairs (you can see in the pics), presumably the owner's bedrooms/bathrooms, but there's a huge wasted space there. There are NO coat racks, hooks, hangers, or closets in the entire house, so no where to hang a jacket, hoodie, or coat. We laid them on the furniture. The only clothes racks are in the bedrooms & about 24" wide (again, no hangers). The (1) bathroom upstairs had (3) towel racks so not enough to dry towels if you have a full house. There is a full bathroom downstairs, so you can use this as a 2nd bath. And the bedrooms have this weird slanted ceiling in EVERY room. The kitchen has a large stand-up cooler, but it was out of order. If you had a full house, you would absolutely need this cooler. All in all, this was still a good place for us.

Wonderful!

We throughly enjoyed our family vacation at this mountain retreat. The beautiful property is located within a reasonable driving distance to many activities. The large table was nice for family meals and playing games. We enjoyed sitting on the porch and the neighbors were friendly. This cabin is exceptionally clean! The kitchen is large and well stocked with pots, pans, utensils etc. One note is the bedrooms have slanted ceilings, so one must be aware when moving around. Also, be sure to have the entry code saved before getting to the cabin as cell service is spotty. Once inside the cabin, the WiFi worked well. We had one minor issue (that was totally our fault) and Josh had it remedied promptly. Our family made many happy memories; we would stay here again.

We had a great stay. The place offers plenty of room. The covered porch was a great place to relax and hang out. The whole property was very clean. While there were a couple issues, the host did his best to fix those quickly.A couple of things to know before you go, you might want to take garbage bags, toilet paper, paper towels as we were not given enough for the amount of time we stayed. The floors are concrete, so they can be kind of slippery. The power went out while we were there, we were very thankful that there was a generator to run the necessities. It was a great vacation with family.
