Welcome to Warland Creek Getaway, a cozy, pet-friendly cabin just minutes from Lake Koocanusa and nestled in the heart of the Kootenai National Forest. Whether you’re planning a hunting trip, fishing or boating vacation, ATV adventure, or peaceful Montana getaway, this is the perfect home base.
Built just two years ago, our fully furnished 2-bedroom cabin comfortably sleeps up to 6 guests and has everything you need for a relaxing stay. The master bedroom features a queen-size log bed, while the second bedroom offers a twin-over-full log bunk bed. The living room includes a queen sleeper sofa, recliner, Smart TV, DVD player, and comfortable seating to unwind after a day outdoors.
The fully equipped kitchen includes a refrigerator, stove, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, cookware, dishes, and utensils. A washer and dryer are also provided, making it easy to clean up after a day on the lake or in the field.
Stay comfortable year-round with Starlink high-speed Wi-Fi, air conditioning, an efficient heat pump, and additional heaters in each bedroom and the bathroom.
Outside, relax around the covered fire pit, enjoy a BBQ with family and friends, experience Montana camping in the wall tent with two cots (please bring your own sleeping bags) or just relaxing under Montana’s star filled skies
Hunters will appreciate the cabin’s location in the Kootenai National Forest, with easy access to thousands of acres of public land and excellent opportunities for elk, deer, bear, turkey, and other big game during Montana hunting seasons. Warland creek Getaway is the perfect place to create lasting memories

We visited Libby for a quick trip to see where I grew up and having a clean and pet friendly place to stay was a relief. We were impressed with the quiet area and it was a cozy cabin to relax. We will be back if we come this way again. Hosts were very responsive.

It was very peaceful, very serene. Momma deer and her baby came by everyday. Lots of amenities. I didn't cook but I checked out equipment and everything was there. The cabin was brand-new with modern tech.

Beautiful location and peaceful stay!

This property was incredible. Johna was such a gracious host and gave us wonderful recommendations about the area. We were visiting for my son’s baseball tournament and we will absolutely book again should we go back to the Libby area.

Very clean, host was super fast with communication, property as described and seen in photos. To be aware, if interested in walking places, this is not likely your spot, The property is quiet, wooded and cabin itself is extremely clean. We were there during high fire time so unable to use the fire pit but gazebo was very nice area. The cabin does have another house on property as well as what seems more buildings in construction, so not entirely private. It is a short drive to marina, which has a restaraunt and on the other side of the highway is a campground. Overall nice place, check out is super early compared to most but is stated upfront so nothing hidden there.

I did want to clarify one thing for our future guests: The Cabin is the only home located on this property. There is a neighboring home on the adjoining property that Is visible from the cabin which may have appeared to be on the same property but it Is completely separate. Also the additional structures mentioned are not additional guests homes on the cabin property. The cabin is the only home on that specific property. Peaceful

The cabin was just lovely and so quiet! There was lots of area to roam and explore. We enjoyed the campfire area, the gazebo really holds in heat and kept us nice and toasty. While there was another house in view, it still felt very private. We will definitely book this spot again!

Brand New Excellent Retreat!

We were the first guests! One of the nicest VRBO offerings we have ever rented. Johna and Tom are first class hosts and just plain nice folks! This VRBO is located very near Lake Koocanusa 90 mile lake with Kootenai River close as well. This part is very unlike most of Montana- very much the same environment as the Pacific Northwest… One of the best.

Perfect mountain getaway

Great cabin! Great location! Amazing hosts! This place has all the amenities of home but you’re in the middle of the woods! Johna and Tom have not missed a single detail and they’ve put their heart and soul into this place. This was a great place to take our family and the hosts truly made sure our stay was a great one. The location is perfect as you can easily pop into Libby yet still retreat to the cabin for a quiet fire under the gazebo at night. This is a true gem!
