Welcome to Modern Living in Tulum! Beautifully decorated with custom furniture and the most comfortable beds, linens and more! This home is equipped with everything you need, truly a home away from home! A ground floor patio with private pool and an upstairs terrace with a state of the art built in BBQ. Every detail was considered to make your vacation a lasting memory. Nestled in the jungle of Tulum, but close to the beach, downtown and ruins.
Our jungle retreat is a stand alone home located in La Privada, the new luxury residential area of Tulum. (Aldea Zama) The landscape of La Privada was designed to create a remote community surrounded by lush vegetation. Over two hectares are reserved for open spaces, green areas, and narrow trails planned to preserve nature, fundamental for the community.
***The home was built by an owner who is a contractor. The construction is much more high end than other properties in the area***

Occupancy :
Sleeps maximum 10 adults
Our main floor is an open room concept with living/dining/kitchen. Ideal for family gatherings. The space is made even larger with floor to ceiling glass doors that bring the jungle close whether open or closed.
The kitchen has granite countertops with all the amenities of home. A gas range, refrigerator, dishwasher, built-in microwave and oven. The Kitchen is stocked with plenty of cooking utensils, toaster, and blender etc. along with dinnerware/silverware. The dining room has a full Dining table that seats 6 adults very comfortably.
Walking out into the courtyard, you can lounge by the pool and enjoy music from the Sonos surround sound system, or the sounds from the many colorful birds that visit the surrounding jungle year around.
From the downstairs pool/patio, you can access the studio suite. This is comprised of two rooms. One with a King bed, and the other with a sofa bed for comfortable seating or an additional Queen bed. This suite also has an en-suite bathroom.
Going up from the main level you have the large BBQ and dining patio that overlooks the pool area. Equipped with a mini-fridge, state of the art BBQ, and comfortable dining/seating for 8 guests.
Also on the upper level are three bedrooms. The master bedroom overlooks the pool area and has a King bed, walk in closet, and en-suite bathroom. The second bedroom also overlooks the courtyard and has a King bed with en-suite bathroom. The third bedroom also has a King bed and en-suite bathroom with a balcony that overlooks the lush landscape of the community.
All bedrooms have a super quiet ceiling fans and mini-split AC units. All en-suite bathrooms have showers only. The main level includes a laundry room with washer and dryer and iron/iron-board.
We have uncovered parking for two cars. Also provided are beach chairs, beach umbrella, and 4 sets of snorkeling gear with fins. We have 2 bikes for your use along with bike locks. For your safety wear helmets while riding. Guests will need to bring their own helmets or rent them.
In summary our home is located in a secure gated community and has 2,800 square feet of living area with 350 square feet covered patio. There are 4 bedrooms (one with a den) bedrooms (4 King beds, 1 Queen Sofa Bed in the den) 4 ½ baths and all the necessary amenities such as washer and dryer, wireless high-speed internet, family games, two parking spaces, bikes and beach gear. Guest access The La Privada community has a tennis court, and a large pool area with Palapa that can be rented with prior notice.
There are a few wonderful cafe's and a small market within walking distance to the property.

Lovely Oasis
Townhouse with parking and a pool in a gated community. The home is beautifully decorated and well appointed with everything you need to enjoy your time in Tulum. Kitchen is well stocked with spices and coffee, washer and dryer are top notch (with soap!). Patio outdoor kitchen is really nice for an epic BBQ. POOL is incredibly refreshing to beat the afternoon heat. Sonos sound system inside and out is awesome and easy to connect to. Some construction nearby interrupted our power for a couple hours and noise was evident (but not disruptive) in the afternoons as the community is growing. A couple of places nearby that you can walk to (muuyal rooftop bar), but for most dining and activities a car or cab is necessary. Beach clubs and downtown dining scene is 20 min drive in either direction. We had a rental car which saved on cabs () - no issues parking anywhere and we always felt safe!
