Great house and location

We were very impressed with the house and it’s location. It was great for a guy’s fishing trip and we will definitely be back. We have stayed at other homes in this area and this one is by far our favorite!

Great lake house

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. There was plenty of room inside and out and the location was great! Always something happening on the lake including glorious sunrises! We would definitely stay here again.

Loved this lakehouse

Had a wonderful stay at this property. Fishing trip weekend for 2. Excellent location and views. Had no complaint and would love to stay again when it is warmer to really take advantage of the lake.

Perfect getaway!

The most relaxing vacation I have been on in a long time. The home was perfect! The kids absolutely loved being out on the lake or playing pool after dark. Everything we needed to kick back and enjoy a few days away.

House with a view

This house did not disappoint, the host were the best, the house was everywhere needed and the outdoors were everything we could have dreamed for. The fish were good but the water was perfect for a sunny weekend! Definitely booking again

Dock was lovely, inside not so much.

We had a great time using the dock and being outside of the house! The inside is not as nice as the pictures show. You can tell they are working on the inside but it was not a comfortable stay. I was disappointed that it was not as remodeled and clean as the pictures looked.

Overall Good Stay

Overall, we had a good stay at this property. The cleanliness of the property could have been better. The biggest issue we had was a stinch in the living room. Upon investigation, we found that the living room rug smelled like a wet dog. The smell was unbearable and the rug had to be removed from the room for the duration of our stay. There were also many spider webs around the house and trash/crumbs between the stove and the cabinet. Everything else around the house was clean. We also had an issue with a low battery on the fire alarm that had to be fixed to stop it from beeping during our stay. Overall, it was a good stay, but there are small improvements that are greatly needed.

Comfy and Well Appointed

We loved this home away from home. It was cozy, nicely decorated, and had everything we needed. The beds were very comfortable, and the location on the lake made for some wonderful family memories and a great place to gather. There really was no downside to the property, although some loose boards on deck and dock are worth noting - and could use a little TLC. Overall - I would highly recommend the property to families and couples alike.

Team building heaven

Myself and my employees came for team building and relaxation. Although the fishing was terrible, the facility made for a great atmosphere and experience. Only negative is that it was not cold enough to use the cool fireplace in the house or have a fire in the very nice fire pit area outside. Thanks to Keith and Michele for the nice upgrades to the property!! W.G.Griffin

Memorial Weekend

Exceeded our expectations. The property was beautiful and the home was super functional and decorated so nice. Everything was very clean and safe for our kids ages 2 and 9. The neighbors to the left of the home were very kind also. The only thing we had an issue with was the can openers didnt work lol but in all we had a great relaxing weekend and made wonderful memories with our family. We would 100% book again!

Relaxing vacation, open floor plan, comfy beds

Our family of four had a wonderful time at this house. It's right on the water on a quiet street. The owners responded quickly to questions via email. The beds were super comfortable. There are two queens in one room and a king and queen in the other. Soft sheets, plenty of pillows. The air conditioning works very well and we never ran out of hot water. We brought some inner tubes and spent as much time as we could floating and playing in the lake. The house is not too far from some of the waterfalls and state parks and drive-in movie theatre. That was the best part of the trip for our boys. On the days we had rain, the pool table added a different rainy day activity - our boys loved learning to play. This is an older home that seems to be in the process of being updated by someone with great woodworking skills. The kitchen table bench, shelves in the kitchen, and trim throughout are gorgeous. Could really use new carpet in the bedrooms and new couches. I can only imagine how amazing it will be when complete. There were some quirks with the house - not enough lighting and quite a few light bulbs were out, freezer keeps ice frozen but not food requiring colder temps (ice cream, margarita bucket), some outlets didn't work. We ate most of our meals there and there was plenty of silverware, glasses, pots and pans, utensils. Could definitely use more plates, bowls, and dish towels. If you've got more than four people, bring paper plates and bowls. These things were minor, and I definitely recommend a stay here - can't beat the price!

Great location

The home is in a beautiful location and we enjoyed our time there. Communication with the owner was good and there was a short response time. The dock and deck of the home are wonderful and there is a boat launch close by. The reason for 4 stars overall is because the inside appears to be going through renovations. The flooring in the main living space is new but hindered opening the door to the deck. The pool table was nice and we enjoyed the open floor plan. The home could use a good deep clean. There were bugs and cobwebs in the home and the microwave and stove had puddles of grease in the bottom.

A Very Relaxing Month

My husband and I just spent a month at this lake home, and it was very nice and relaxing. The house was cozy, the bed comfortable, and the lake was right THERE! This is a great setup for anyone that loves to fish. My disabled husband was able to put our small pontoon on the water and dock it under the covered boathouse for the entire month with no worries. We fished a lot and caught a variety of fish. The property owner was very easily accessible and wonderful to work with. And the neighbors were extremely friendly and eager to offer advice about fishing, the best restaurants, etc. We will definitely go back there again if given the opportunity.
