Welcome to our private guest cottage in the charming town of Weston, CT. Located about 45 miles from NYC, this is the perfect getaway.
Our enchanting two-bedroom cottage is perched near the tranquil Saugatuck River—one of Connecticut's finest trout fishing havens. A mere stroll from the cottage, this river setting offers a perfect blend of leisure and nature's charm.
Our 1000-square-foot cottage features two cozy bedrooms, each furnished with comfortable double beds, ensuring a restful night's sleep. Guests will appreciate the brand-new bathroom, complete with a modern shower, blending comfort with convenience.
Though compact, the kitchen has all the necessary amenities for a delightful home-cooking experience. It's perfect for preparing meals to enjoy indoors or by the riverside.
The living room is a hub of relaxation and entertainment, offering Wi-Fi and a large-screen TV, ideal for movie nights or staying connected.
Step outside to enjoy our nearby expansive fire pit area next to the river. It's a splendid spot for gathering, complete with chairs and firewood for those starlit nights.
In addition to the natural beauty, we also offer a unique service for couples looking to tie the knot. Our picturesque back lawn, with the river's soothing presence, provides a romantic setting for intimate wedding ceremonies. We also have a resident Justice of the Peace.
For those seeking adventure, superb hiking trails including one just down the street ( Trout Brook Valley, which is dog friendly) , offer various experiences from peaceful walks to more vigorous treks.
Our cottage is set in an atmosphere of warmth and relaxation. As hosts, we are readily available to ensure your stay is comfortable and fulfilling. Experience the allure of Weston and the unique charm of our riverside cottage for a truly unforgettable getaway.

Lovely hosts, peaceful surroundings
We loved our time at the cottage. It has everything you need to be comfortable and content. The river is beautiful and the hosts are very accommodating and welcoming. Perfectly located for optimal peace while being close to two universities and Westport. Hope to visit again soon!

River Cottage Review
Highly recommend. We visited the River Cottage on our Anniversary trip to Connecticut! The cottage is quaint, relaxing and peaceful. The location is beautiful and convenient to hiking, parks, dining and shopping. The hosts are kind, respectful and welcoming! We cannot wait to stay here again.

Perfect little cottage for 4 adults
The cottage is a very nice and private space with two good sized bedrooms, full kitchen, and great bathroom. Living room is very comfortable a well. Extremely clean space. Richard def went above and beyond.

Cozy for college
We have visited the river cottage onto occasions. It is cozy, clean, and feels just like home. The amenities are great and all the small touches make it really enjoyable. The homeowners are wonderful. They are friendly and helpful. Looking forward to staying there again when we visit Our daughter in college.

River Cottage Respite
Charming cottage in bucolic setting. Clean comfortable haven for my husband and self. Forested roadways put us in the heart of Fall’s glory. Nearby find hiking trails, lakes and the vibrant town of Westport, CT.
Owners were so gracious! Check in a breeze.
