Southport Waterfront - Gorgeous Views! - No Hidden Fees

Welcome to Sunrise Watch, the coolest place in town to sit on your private deck on the waterfront and watch it all! First floor unit with steps and elevator. Overlooking the Intracoastal Waterway and Marina, steps from the riverwalk, and just a 5 min walk to all of Southport's waterfront restaurants and historic downtown shops and restaurants. Everything is included - linens, towels, toiletries, paper products, etc. All you have to do is walk in and enjoy! No hidden or cleaning fees - it's all included in the price.

Unit features 1 bedroom with a king size bed, a queen sofa bed, 1 bathroom, kitchenette with small refrigerator, sink, microwave, toaster oven, and Keurig coffeemaker. A private deck on the waterfront with a great view of the Intracoastal Waterway across the Cape Fear to Caswell Beach, Oak Island, and Bald Head Island. Two Beach Cruiser bikes are provided for you to explore all that Southport has to offer.

Unit is located within 5 min walking distance of waterfront and downtown restaurants. Stroll or bike along the yacht basin to see shrimp boats and have meals or cocktails at Provision Company, Fishy Fish, and more! Walk downtown to enjoy the shops, visit the Maritime Museum, or visit the city pier and do some fishing. The Southport historic Riverwalk and Marina are located directly across from the condo with a gazebo over the water for stunning views of Oak Island Lighthouse, Bald Head Lighthouse, the Cape Fear River and Intracoastal Waterway.

This is all about convenience and location! We lived the bikes and rode to restaurants and bars and just to explore. No need for the car unless you leave Southport. The condo is so close to the best parts. Great views and cute neighborhood behind. VERY safe, great vibe. Stayed two nights for my husband’s bday and booked a fishing trip! Highly recommend! Condo had everything you need and was clean. We did not try to cook, but it is set up for basic studio style meal prep. You won’t want to try to make a lasagna or entire fish boil, but you can heat up your leftovers or make some toast, cereal, coffee etc. like a stocked hotel! We had out coffee out on the porch and watched walkers and joggers and people leaving on their boat. Really great experience and best price. You will not be disappointed!

Great location! I wouldn’t suggest the lower level if you are a light sleeper. When people are staying upstairs it is quite noisy, sounds like they are stomping on the ceiling. An extra trash bag would have been nice as well as actual dish liquid rather than the bottle filled with water. We enjoyed walking over the boardwalk looking out at the marsh. We saw a lot of wildlife. The walk to the shops and restaurants isn’t bad.

A little getaway

This was one of my daughters sweet 16 presents was a nice little getaway to the town we love and adore and this location was soooo perfect and amazing

Could have been so much better!

We thought we were getting an end unit - no. We thought we had normal TV - no. We thought we'd have deck privacy - no. We thought our clean up fee meant someone else cleaned up for us - no. We thought there would be directions on how to operate the TV - no. We thought there would be directions on how to operate the cooling system - no. We thought there would be a range/oven - no. There were SO many disappointments that could have been so easily eliminated. We left a day early and will never use VRBO again!

Cute place to Explore a cute town

My husband and I came to stay for the weekend for a wedding in town. It was a perfect location to easily access restaurants and the wedding venue. Provided us with a great home base. We enjoyed coffee on the porch in the morning and we used the cruisers to explore Southport. Everything we needed was provided and was very clean. The owner was very irresponsive and easy to communicate with. Check-in was a breeze and parking was great. I would definitely stay again and would love to come back.

Valentine Retreat

Wonderful experience. Condo was very clean and comfortable. Bed was so comfortable and towels were big and fluffy. Looked like it was freshly painted and the floors were beautiful. View and location were excellent. Quick response from owner and good communication. One of the best places we have stayed and we can't wait to go back.

Location, location, location

Beautiful views, walking distance to marina, shops, restaurants. Southport is an adorable village and the condo was a comfortable place to come home to. We spent most of our downtime enjoying the deck and views.

Weekend Getaway

Great location for a little weekend boating getaway. This cute little one bedroom condo is right in the marina and has everything you need. Restaurants are within walking distance. We had a great weekend here!

Perfect Summer Getaway

This place was PERFECT. The house was cozy and quaint. We had the best time lounging on the large porch and watching the world float by. My son and I spent every morning walking down to the docks to fish. My wife was able to walk to Yoga in the morning, and we could walk to the dockside restaurants every evening. What more could you ask for. The host was SUPER accommodating and made us feel at home. Thank you again. Will definitely be back.

Just right

Needed a little quaint place for a couple, and it was wonderful for being close to downtown and the marina where we had our boat docked. Lovely place. Well kept, clean and quiet, even with all the 4th of July activities! Hosts were wonderful!

Great spot for enjoying Southport!

Condo is located in a great location and is within walking distance to restaurants, shops, and water. There is some view of the water from the deck. Southport is such a fun and relaxing destination!!

Great location

We love staying in this condo. It was our second visit to this unit. The only issue we had were some renters in another unit that let their dog bark constantly so we couldn't enjoy use of the deck. We will definitely be back!

Frequent Southport Visitors

We visit Southport / Wilmington once a year because we enjoy it so much. First stay at this rental, and it was absolutely perfect for all of the locations we visit. Very peaceful and a great view of the marina. Much more space than expected, and a few minute walk to everything. Great communication, and great amenities for a small family of 3. Will surely stay again!
