I want you to make lasting memories and think of this home as your favorite beach vacation spot while at Carolina Sea Paws at Carolina Beach, NC. I try to provide most everything you and your family or guests may need, so you can enjoy taking just 30 steps to the white sandy beach, see the ocean waves, and hear the sounds and smells that only the ocean can provide.
When you return from your fun and sun time at the beach, you can enjoy your private backyard & rinsing off in your hot/cold private outdoor shower area and sit and enjoy the warm breeze. After a refresh, have a family BBQ and enjoy the late afternoon. After you eat and talk about your day, listen to the ocean waves with mood lighting while you all roast marshmallows around your wood burning fire-pit sitting area outdoors. (you must furnish the wood) This would be my perfect first day.
This 3BR -1BA cottage has a laid back, friendly & family safe atmosphere at my end of the Beach, but you are also close to the action. This unit is a stylish open concept, with tasteful beach décor, a large L-shaped comfy sofa, and 2 nice chairs for extra seating. The Den has a 65" TV with a console fireplace, and all the amenities you will need: i.e. high-speed internet, New HVAC- heat/AC, washer/dryer, linens, soaps, body wash/shampoo/conditioner, well stocked kitchen and dinning area. All four beds (2 queen and 2-full bunks) are so comfortable you may not want to get out of bed, but If you are an early riser, make a pot or pod of coffee and sit on the front porch or backyard deck or go to the beach and watch a beautiful sunrise every morning.
You are only 3 blocks from the North End Pier & Grill & 1 mile to the historic Carolina Beach Boardwalk. There you can shop, listen to live bands, dine at a great local restaurant, & eat a famous Britt's Doughnut or Squigley's ice cream for dessert. Go to the beach or walk to the Boardwalk and see fireworks on Thursday nights during the summer, or rent a paddleboard, bicycle, Kayak, or rent the Carolina Sea Paws golf cart to ride around town and park for free. You can even bring a chair and watch an outdoor family movie on the lake at Lake Park every other week.
(Unit Golf cart must be reserved and paid for prior to arrival. Email owner- to rent Golf Cart, see prices in my pictures) No other golf cart can fit in the parking area or have access to electricity for charging.
Rain or shine, you will have plenty to see or do or just relax while at Carolina Sea Paws.
FYI… Dogs are welcome 45 lbs or smaller and if they are completely house broken and friendly. However, there is a pet free of $65 for one dog or $85 pet fee for two dogs. They will enjoy the fenced backyard and walking on the beach too!

We enjoyed our stay. Had everything we needed and it was just a short walk to the beach. Backyard was wonderful for the dogs. Would definitely stay here again!

I really enjoyed my stay. The back yard was beautiful and would have been out there more but for the weather, but my dog loved it. His first trip anywhere! The kitchen was well stocked and even had treats for us to enjoy, plus linens and detergent for dishes and laundry. We didn't cook but could have if we wanted to. The beds were comfortable and the shower was great!

Family Time

Wondered if the unit would be large enough to accommodate 2 families with children and GrandPa - found it to be perfectly fine in every way ! The sleeping quarters great - kitchen area and eating areas great - gathering areas inside and out great! Everything was cleaned well and supplied well. Thank you for the beach chairs available! We will definitely consider staying here again.

We absolutely loved our stay at this cottage in Carolina Beach! It was perfect for our family—especially with the ground floor entrance that made it easy for our mother, who uses a walker. The backyard was a true highlight, both for our Yorkie who had space to explore, and for us to relax and unwind. We ended up spending more time in the lovely yard than even on the beach—it was perfect for sunset cocktails and quiet afternoons with a book.Kathy was the perfect host—warm, welcoming, and very responsive both before our arrival and throughout our stay. We would highly recommend this cottage to anyone looking for a comfortable, relaxing spot at Carolina Beach.

Perfect location. Amusement park about a mile away. Kure Pier approx 4 miles. Ocean across the street. Lovely condo with AMAZING fenced in back yard. I love the freedom of letting my autistic 4 year old run in freedom with the high fence around the entire back yard. Kathy is an amazing host. She makes sure she can answer questions and help in any way. We will be going back.

Carolina Beach

One reason we picked this property was the fenced backyard for our dogs. We didn't realize how nice it would be. The large yard was surrounded by a well secured privacy fence; no chance of any dog getting out. There was outdoor setting on a raised deck with a gas fire pit. The outdoor shower with hot water was a nice bonus. This property was ideally located just across the street from the beach access, so you could easily come and go to as you wished. Beach chairs and other beach items were available. The place was spotless and very comfortable for our group of 6. Kathy, the owner, made the atmosphere very homey. Everything we needed for cooking various meals, including a few dinners, were available in the kitchen. All the appliances worked well. We would definitely consider renting this property again should we return to Carolina Beach. I highly recommend it.

I want my guests to make lasting memories of their favorite beach vacation while at Carolina Sea Paws at Carolina Beach, NC. I try to provide almost everything they may need, so my guests can enjoy taking just 30 steps to the white sandy beach, ocean waves, and the sounds and smells only the ocean can provide. When you return from your fun and sun time at the beach, you can enjoy a hot or cool rinse off in your private outdoor shower. Go hang out at the wind sail covered deck to dry off and enjoy the warm breeze and possibly read your new or borrowed book. After a refresh, pull out the cornhole set, the ladder and rope toss or horse-shoes game, or toss the football etc. and have a family and friendly competition as you grill out and enjoy the afternoon. After you eat any talk about your day, start up the firepit and listen to the ocean waves with the twinkling lighted palm trees and mood lighting over and around the deck. This would be my perfect first day.

I love the outdoors and enjoy people. I have been here 30 + years and think of myself as a local who cares about the beach, my area and I want to share my love of the beach and place with others. I came here years ago as the UNCW Women's Head Volleyball Coach and spent a lot of time playing beach volleyball too. Now, I love sitting on the sand, watching the ocean waves, boogie boarding and walking my 5 year-old dog, Bryce on the strand. I love where I live, and hope others do too. Enjoy!

This cottage has a laid back, friendly & family safe atmosphere at my end of the Beach, but you are also close to the action. This cottage is 30 steps across to the beach and approx. 1 mile to the boardwalk where you can shop, listen to live bands, dine at some great local restaurants & eat a famous Britt's Doughnut or Squigley's ice cream for dessert.

Families can enjoy arcade games with the kids, & during the summer fair rides and fireworks on Thurs. or an outdoor movie at the lake on main street. You can visit the NC Fort Fisher Aquarium and Civil War museum, take the ferry to Southport or to Bald Head Island to see a real lighthouse. For adults, visit some local bars & microbreweries, chart a fishing trip, rent a kayak, surfboard or paddleboard to view the wildlife all while staying on the Island.

Off the island & you can see Wilmington's historic downtown, dine at great restaurants on the Cape Fear Riverwalk, enjoy art & children’s museums, the tour the NC Battleship & park and play round of golf. Enjoy both indoor and outdoor concerts., live performances, shows, bands, bars & many Wilmington microbreweries are plentiful. Rain or shine you will have lots to do!

This home is a true original beach cottage with a large well maintained backyard which is a rare find at any beach. It has had several hurricanes come through in the 90's and 2000's but it still stands resilient, beautiful and strong. It is literally just 30 steps to the beach where you can come back and forth all day.

After your beach day, you can rise off in your Hot/Cold private outdoor shower, enjoy a game of Corn-hole in a fenced backyard with your family and friends, kids and the family dog, if you have one. During the morning, relax on the wind sail covered deck and drink your coffee or read a book and during the evening, have a BBQ, enjoy the wood burning firepit, the Adirondack & rocking chairs, with the night time twinkling lights and mood lighting. There’s lots to enjoy for everyone!

After your beach day, enjoy a game of Corn-hole in a fenced backyard, complete with BBQ, H/C private outdoor shower, firepit, deck & rocking chairs, wind sails & mood lighting. There’s lots of choices for everyone to enjoy!


Rain or shine, you will have plenty to see or do while at Carolina Sea Paws.
