Very clean place and modern feeling accommodations. Everything you need and nothing you don’t! I wish I could have taken advantage of the pool, but I was too busy. It’s nice to know it’s available Close to everything!

Property is clean and well maintained, location is close to many great food options and gated community felt very safe. Host was easy to communicate with and very courteous. Highly recommend staying here!

The complex is not what is told. The condo is in a bad part of town. My wife and I arrived to find people in the parking lot sun bathing in parking spots and drinking. The gate was unlocked and wide open. Couldn't find the building. So we never even got to see the condo. When we contacted the owner and told him that we couldn't stay in this unsafe area and asked him to call US he said it had to go through vrbo. Then had to fight with them to get our money back. We drove from PA expecting a nice safe place for us to stay and visit with our new granddaughter and family. Even our TX family said they would never stay in that area. The only pictures are of the inside of the place.

Sir, the listing clearly states that the condo is in a changing area of Austin. The neighborhood includes people from a range of backgrounds, and judging the property solely by the surrounding area is unfair. The condo is equipped with a pool and people were having a social event and having a drink. You texted us on Vrbo that you thought this was an “Upper Middle Class”. I replied that we would never put that in our description. We have hosted more than 300 guests without a reported security issue. The condo is undergoing renovations, as disclosed, and its price reflects the property and location. It is unfortunate that you chose to judge it without giving yourself a chance to experience it.

Absolutely perfect! I read the reviews. And am sorry to see that people blame the location for the people that are out on the streets. I was never uncomfortable. Traveling solo as a 60 woman - and still felt completely safe. Thank you for providing such a perfect stay for my time in Austin. I will definitely stay here again!!!!!

I tried working with the host after realizing during construction the property wasn't gated and my vehicle would not be secured. Due to being on a work trip with my inventory with me, safe parking is a priority. When they offered a partial reimbursement I was willing to overlook the issue and relocate to a safe hotel. They did not, and I was out of pocket for a safe hotel for the night. The location has possibility, I currently live in a major Downtown area myself, but right now this neighborhood is not what was described in the listing unfortunately.

Hello Samantha, As stated, the The condominium is undergoing exterior renovations. We are at the end of the construction phase. Vrbo is supposed to cancel the reservation so we can submit your partial reimbursement. Please contact them for further information.

The property itself was super clean and modern. However, the location and building complex were not great at all, and actually below standard. The complex appeared to be undergoing a lot of renovation or some kind of remediation, which was unsightly, and is no fault of the owner, nor the condition of the surrounding neighborhood. But it would be helpful to let potential customers be aware of the current conditions of the complex so they can make a more informed choice about staying there or not.

As noted in our listing description, the neighborhood is in a gentrifying area. Like many communities located near downtown areas across the United States, it is home to people from a variety of income levels and backgrounds. We have never experienced any safety concerns or issues involving our guests during their stay. We also disclose in our listing that the building is undergoing exterior renovations. The project is approximately 90% complete and should be finished soon. While we understand this may create a minor inconvenience, we believe it is minimal in the grand scheme of the overall guest experience. Thank you again for choosing to stay with us. Great Stay

Great location and very clean. Close to downtown without being in the craziness of downtown. Close to good food and fun bars but not so close you can hear the riff raff.

We are located in a culturally diverse, blue collar, family oriented community.

There are many great food options within a 5 mile radius. But, walking distance will offer Chipotle, Anne’s Treats, 'What a burger', 'Jack In the Box', 'P Terry's', 888 Asian Cuisine and 'Hai Ky' Vietnamese, Subway, Dominos, Papa Johns... There are more as well, this is a quick reference.

There is also a full service bar / pool hall within walking distance by the name of 'Clicks Billiards'.

'Emo's' is about a mile away, a live music venue to check out if you happen to be in town when they're hosting a concert. And in the adjacent parking lots across the street are 'Buzzmill', a local crowd casual bar with a nice outdoor patio and fire pit when it's cold. And 'The Jackalope', another local bar scene with louder music atmosphere, games outside on the patio and the occasional dj.

Although the nightlife is fun, my personal favorite neighborhood destination is the beautiful hike and bike trail right down the street on Lady Bird Lake! Great place for kayak rental or just to take a walk, bike or people watch. Bicycles and electric scooters are readily available to get you places.

Grocery store! The most convenient local store is right across the street from the entry gate to the complex. Otherwise longer term stays may prefer more selection at the grocery store - HEB. It is located about 2 miles away on Riverside Drive.

This property is conveniently located within walking distance to restaurant favorites like Cafe Creme, P-Terry's (an Austin staple), El Pollo Rico, Jack in the Box, and Chipotle. Plus, it's just 2 minutes from the highway, making travel a breeze.

With a bus stop just 100 feet down the street, getting around is easy. A 24-hour maintenance person resides on-site to keep the grounds in pristine condition.
