This is what I imagine whenever I spend time at this little cabin. It is such a sweet and cozy little place to slow things down and just enjoy the beauty all around. We are so pleased that you enjoyed it as well and we hope to see you again one day soon.

We so wish you would have reached out about the shower valve while you were on site, we were able to fix it immediately after your checkout within a couple of minutes. We have staff available locally to assist our guests should a need arise as we want to ensure their visit is truly as "comfy" as possible. Update: King, 2 twins, was replaced by owner with a new queen mattress, and the w/d info was a generality for all of our properties, but we did remove it from DRL's check out list. Thanks again Lena and look forward to hearing from you again. Jeanie

Thank you so much for the feedback, we have made some fabulous interior changes since your stay. Unfortunately pine needles are part of being in the mountains and prior guests are not always great about putting away clean dishes but 95% of the time they are so I am sorry you had a couple that were not. Housekeeping is advised to double check a random dish/utensil here and there to ensure we can "catch" this if it happens. Would love to have you back to experience the great new changes the cabin has undergone with your NW Comfy Cabins return guest discount, i think you will be pleasantly surprised since you noted the showcase of the area and its phenomenal view.

April, Thank you SO very much for sharing your experience with us at Doc Roy's. We are happy to hear you had a lovely stay and were able to focus on the highlights of the cabin and the lake. Yes, mountain life can have its challenges with critters but we certainly do have pest control set up at this property and have alerted the service company to your feedback. They come out monthly but will come out anytime we call them in the "in-between" IF needed and this has been done. We are so excited that you got to see the majestic cranes and hope you got to see the osprey, eagles and otters too?
