Beskrive vores amerikanske emblem, den skaldede ørn, forfatter Maude M. Grant skrev "Leve som han gør på toppen af høje bjerge, midt i naturens ensomme storhed, har han ubegrænset frihed ..." Sikkert den majestætiske væsen Ms. Grant beskriver var omkring dette smukke bjerg hjem. Eagles Landing sidder højt på Cabin Mountain omgivet af 15 hektar skovklædt pragt. Uanset sæsonen vil de besøgende nyde den "ensomme storhed i naturen". Den åbne grundplan er fremhævet med en faktisk væg af vinduer, der giver ubegrænsede muligheder for dyrelivssyn. Kom lidt tættere på naturen fra den private udendørs boblebad, hvor stargazing er praktisk taget et krav. Inden i skabningen er bekvemmeligheder uendelige. Nyd WIFI, en 42 "HDTV fladskærms-tv med satellit service, brændeovn og veludstyret køkken. Den hyggelige hems tjener som ekstra barneplads og giver en læsning tilbagetog for regnfulde dage. Så meget privatliv og komfort vil helt sikkert være svært at forlade, men let at vende tilbage til i enhver sæson. Vinterbesøgende planlægger 4-hjulet køretøjer.

The home is always beautifully maintained, warm, and inviting — the kind of place where you settle in the moment you walk through the door. Every room is spotless and thoughtfully prepared, and the classic mountain‐home decor gives it a cozy, relaxing feel we’ve come to love.The setting is peaceful and full of wildlife. We had lots of deer in the yard throughout our stay, quietly wandering through in the mornings and evenings. It’s one of those special Canaan Valley touches that makes the experience feel calm, scenic, and connected to nature.The amenities are perfect for unwinding. The ladies especially enjoyed the hot tub, spending their evenings relaxing after a day of exploring the valley. It’s always clean, well‐kept, and a highlight of our visits.And as always, Best of Canaan was the best to deal with. Their team is friendly, responsive, and consistently reliable — from booking to check‐in to departure. They make every stay smooth and enjoyable, and Eagles Landing is a great example of the quality homes they manage.We look forward to returning again. Very clean. Loved the open space and layout of the house. Loved the 2 fridges for our large group. The hot tub was great. It ended up snowing around a foot while we were there but they scrapped the driveway and roads. Make sure you have chains or 4wheel drive in the winter. Would definitely stay here again.

Quiet comfortable secluded home

There are no houses near to this one, it is truly private and secluded. Everything was as advertised and we would visit again.

Ideal Getaway for Families

There was ample space and modern amenities for the kids to enjoy, including a fire pit and in-ground hot tub. Aside from a power outage that affected the entire neighborhood, we had a seamless stay at this spacious and comfortable house on the hill.

50th Surprise!!

WOW. the view is breathtaking!!! It was the perfect weekend getaway for hubbys 50th birthday. We relaxed,enjoyed the hot tub,and mesmerized over the beautiful view on the mountain top.Eagles Landing is the perfect name for this spectacular home.My husband stayed on the porch in the rocking chair from dawn to dusk.Thanks for sharing your beautiful piece of paradise!!

Girls Weekend Away

Booked this property for a weekend getaway with my three gal pals from college. We checked in Sat and did not leave this beautiful home until checkout on Tues. Great spot to disconnect from everything else and reconnect with friends. Hot tub was clutch on the sunny but chilly days of our trip. Recommend packing starter logs for the fireplace, however house has firewood split and stacked to keep the place cozy. The open common space with the wall of windows melds the indoor comforts with the outdoor beauty. Will rent again.

We even hosted a nice dinner while there. The only issue we had was the refrigerator in the kitchen was a little small and didn't have an ice maker. But that's literally the only issue, so we had a wonderful time. I was quite surprised with the double oven and the mesh wifi system. Great signal around the entire property. Love the smokeless firepit! We used it every night. Definitely renting again

We have stayed here many times over the past several years, and it is hard to imagine this place being any better than it was. The recent changes have only improved on perfection. Kudos to the property owners for their vision, and the construction crew for doing such a great job. From the moment we arrived and walked in, it still felt like a cozy home away from home. The additional bedrooms, bathroom, living space, and large well-equipped kitchen have added to its charm and beauty. One of the highlights of Eagles Landing is the wood-burning fireplace. After a long day of exploring, there’s something incredibly charming about curling up by the fire in the cozy living room. These touches make Eagles Landing feel like a true home away from home.The location, for us, has always been just right. It is close enough to all the fun activities but still tucked away in a peaceful gated neighborhood. We loved the outdoor space, viewing the stars at night, playing in the hot tub, and enjoying the seclusion and quiet. There is plenty to do in the area including cave excursions great shops for antiquing, and many great restaurants like the Smoke House at Blackwater Falls and the Hickory dining room at Canaan Valley Resort. Of course, for those winter sports vacationers, three ski resorts are only a few miles away from the house. For hikers and bikers, you will never run out of trails to explore, both in the valley and on the mountain. As always, we booked our stay through Best of Canaan Realty because they are fantastic! They are super friendly and always ready to help with anything we need, both before our arrival and after. The group of people that manage this place do a great job of keeping it clean and well-maintained. Honestly, this vacation rental was a dream! It was everything we could wish for and more. Cabin stay

We were all very comfortable staying in the cabin. We loved the privacy, the hot tub, and loved having a kitchen to prepare meals. So much better than staying in a hotel

Amazing stay!

Beautiful house with everything you'll need. Clean and well laid out. Only item we found lacking was the outside fire pit. It's off to the side in the woods and poorly situated. There is not a second firepit as the add states. This was a minor thing though given the proximity to all the great things to go see and do in the area!

Canaan Valley WV rental

Area and property location were nice but house had mice in living room, kitchen, and bedrooms. It made for a less than relaxing vacation experience . Also not a major concern but the internet was very poor

Great Cabin on the mountain slope

Good cabin with all the required amenities. The driveway is steep, so all-wheel drive is a must.

Eagles Landing - Canaan Valley

Great family trip. The house was wonderful, had everything we needed to relax and enjoy the week. The deck and Great room with windows overlooking the forest was amazing. The house is in a perfect location. Just minutes from Windy View and access to the Dolly Sods and a short drive to Blackwater Falls and Canaan Valley. For a less strenuous hike the lake off Timberline Rd. offers a great view if the valley. Can't say enough good things about the Eagles Landing. We would definitely recommend for families looking to get away.
