Denne rummelige lejlighed har en smuk udsigt over havet og marsk fra hvert vindue. Hvert værelse er blevet renoveret. Der er et stort nyt bad, nyt køkken og væg til væg tæpper. De store soveværelser har fantastisk havudsigt. Du kommer ind fra en gårdhave med udsigt over den rolige myr. Familieværelsen flyder direkte ind i den lyse spisekøkken med alle hjemmets faciliteter (mikroovn, kaffemaskine og brødrister). Der er et fladskærms-tv, WiFi, DVD-afspiller og en sovesofa til ekstra gæster (Lejlighed sover 6 meget komfortabelt). Det første soveværelse har en queensize-seng og det andet en fuld størrelse seng. Great Location for the Beach

The 4 of us travel together each fall and love exploring so this was perfect for us. Beautiful weather, nice walks on the beach and easy traveling to explore. Great trip

No rain could dampen our enjoyment staying here.

It is a lovely place and worked out great. Because my mom is 86 and the stairs were hard; we basically ate take out from A few of the area restaurants, drank wine and played cards. There is a nice view of the ocean from the bedrooms.

Loved our stay in Wells!

David and his wife, Rebecca, went out of their way to make sure we were totally at home. We so enjoyed our time in Wells. Their cute place is perfect - across from the beach, so clean, bed is very comfy, and the space is exactly what we were hoping for. I would definitely come stay again!

Our second stay in this apartment (and third at this property - stayed downstairs the first year). We love the location - beach right across the street, short walk to shops/arcade on Mile Road. Layout of the apartment is great, working laundry in the basement, lots of beach stuff to borrow in the basement, parking is easy, hosts are easy to communicate with. We will be back.

Perfect beach location

Great stay! Loved have the beach right across the road. Could see the beach out the front and the marsh out the back. Parking is tight, but follow the instructions and you will be fine. Owner was very helpful and communicative!

Half marathon

This is a fantastic beach spot. We came up for a half marathon. Great location to cheer on the runners and then relax on the beach afterwards.

Great location

Very clean, great space. The location is key. The breeze flowing through was one of our favorite things. Was really nice to have the bike and the extra boogie boards in the basement. Would stay again for sure.

Great Spot

This property is right across from the beach and within walking distance to the arcade, shops, and food. Nice outdoor space with patio furniture and an outdoor shower to wash off all the sand! David is very responsive. I would recommend staying here!

Winter Paradise

Girls weekend

We loved the apartment. (Just an fyi to owner... a blind in the kitchen was broken. ) The place was clean and homey. We loved the view and the short walk to the beach. Thank you so much for letting us rent it out.

Wells Beach trip

We loved the location right across from the beach access path! The apartment was clean and comfortable and the ocean views and sound of the waves at night are amazing! Please make it clear to your guests that towels and linens are not provided upon arrival. Thank you for sharing your lovely place.

Appreciate the 5 star review. Glad to hear the appreciation for the super convenient beach access we have right at the "Public Way 2" beach entrance. We work with a professional cleaning company in Maine. They are great partners and always keep our home super clean and tidy. Cleaning services in Maine are not inexpensive. We transparently only pass on the actual cost of a cleaning at booking. We try to keep this cleaning fee as low as possible. Adding sheets/towels and the resulting laundry fee, increases the cleaning fee by 50%. Guests always have the option to request this service and our cleaners will oblige. The cleaning fee increases. We are always 100% happy to accomodate these requests. Lastly, as noted by our recent guests, the two bedrooms in our place both have ocean views-which we ourselves love to wake up to when we stay in the unit. We to, love falling asleep to the sound of the ocean waves right across the street!!

Marathon stay

We stayed for the Wells marathon and it was an ideal location, within walking distance of the start line. The property was as described and the kids loved being across the road from the beach. We didn’t have much time to explore the surrounding area, but it would make a good base for exploring this part of the Maine coast. The host was also very helpful in responding to all of my questions.

We have been vacationing in wells beach for the last 8 years, always staying in different places each year in the immediate beach area, so we have experience and a good understanding of what is offered. This particular rental was the most we ever paid for a weeks stay but yes we all know this area is becoming very popular and prices are growing by the minute.This particular unit was clean and quaint. You can hear and see the ocean from a bedroom window and the breeze is lovely.The listing was a bit misleading in regards linens and towels. The lease agreement states we must bring our own, and we did. How ever the unit did have linens and towels which is nothing to complain about however I wish I didn't have to schlep all that stuff for nothing and had the extra room in the car for antiques :).The unit also did not have any closets whatsoever to hang clothes in, and only 3 hangers to be used on a door hook. It would be helpful to know that ahead of time so one can pack accordingly and not bring clothes that needs to be hung up.The kitchen could have used some commonly used items, like oven mits, salt, etc and the soaps on sinks were about 1/4 filled. It would also be helpful if the was a entry mat/rug inside the apartment to help keep sand out.Overall we were comfortable, ceiling fans in all rooms was a big plus as well.Thank you.

Super appreciate all the accolades mentioned about our place. It is definitely a convenient vacation treat to be as close to the beach as our place. Seeing and hearing the ocean from your bedroom (with a cool ocean cross wind) is not something every guest to Wells Beach experiences. (Take it from me - before we bought this home right across from Wells Beach, we used to stay on Route 1 and pack it all up and head to the beach daily). Last minute this year we changed from guests bringing linens to us providing linens. Guests bringing their own linens was a weird Maine thing that we accepted as normal when we used to stay at various vacation rentals ourselves. Never thought we’d get a complaint because we were supplying linens/towels. Space is at a premium this close to the beach. Some beach homes sacrifice a closet for more bedroom space. First comment on that in 10 years of VRBO renting. Not sure where are salt went, but a) we stay in the unit ourselves and use the salt regularly b) had our guests let us know it was missing, we would have sent our property guy down with a replacement salt. Lastly, not sure what 1/4 full soaps on the sink has to do with anything? As long as there was enough for the stay??? Our family has stayed in this very unit more times than I can count. We never noticed the soaps on the sinks were only 1/4 full.

Perfect location for a beach getaway, directly across from access to the beach. Best suited for a party of (4). Beds were comfortable. Linens are not directly provided and it would be helpful for this to be more specifically stated in the listening and lease agreement. Owners communicated quickly and addressed the opening season issue we ran into within hours of bringing it to their attention. Overall, clean and comfortable and the best part, LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION.

Slice of heaven

The space was perfect for my husband and I, w/ 2 queen beds and a king pull out couch, this space could certainly accommodate more, but we loved the space. Kitchen was fully stocked which we were grateful for. Nothing like falling asleep to the crash of the waves or watch the sunset on the marsh side. Absolutely loved this space and will be back! So close to the beach, short walk down to the gift shops, we couldn’t ask for more. Do make sure you bring your own linens!

Amazing

We had such a great stay. We had friends in the downstairs and we were upstairs. As advertised close to everything and seconds from the ocean. The wagon needs a little work the tire is coming off from so much use but it was an unexpected happy bonus to have toys and a wagon to use!!

Location is amazing! You cross the road and you are on the beach! The property itself is nice and has everything you’d need and expect in a vacation rental. It was very clean and well presented. My only complaint is the beds are really hard and uncomfortable and it made for a tough nights sleep. Otherwise the place was great and we would definitely come back!

My family and I have vacationed in Wells Beach for countless summers. We rented over a dozen different properties. All the properties we rented required us to pack all our beach gear in the car, fight the traffic and cross our fingers we would find a parking spot. If we could find a spot, it was often the typical $10/day. Then we would load all of 'beach gear' on our shoulders and make the walk to the beach. At times it was frustrating. Bathroom breaks were always an adventure. When we decided to purchase a home in Wells, we wanted to be right by the ocean. 80 Atlantic was perfect. It had a crosswalk at the end of the driveway for the kids and direct access to Public Way # 2. (No walking up or down Atlantic Ave to reach the nearest Public Way). Bathroom calls were no longer a problem and anything we forgot to bring with us was just across the street. 80 Atlantic is also extremely close to Wells Beach 'Center'. If you want a newspaper or a snack, the convenience store is right there. If the kids want to go to the arcade or get an ice cream its just a short walk. On top of all this, our home has Maine marsh views from the back and ocean views from the front.

Derfor er dette overnatningssted unikt

So close to the beach, yet without the huge price tag of an on beach rental. The house is a short drive from specialty shopping in either Ogunquit or Kennebunkport. The Maine Kittery Outlets are just down the highway from Wells. Mini golf is available in Wells and a public transportation trolley can take you all over town.
