The house was the cleanest beach house we’ve ever rented! Also equipped with everything you need to enjoy the stay,we didn’t have to bring a thing! Enjoyed our week had beautiful weather and the hot tub was the best at night when it cooled down! Just lovely! Neighbor Jeff was the greatest also. Thank you for our wonderful relaxing stay!! Absolutely amazing! The host is beyond helpful, the property is clean and has so many extra amenities. We will be back next year. Don’t miss out on this property. Especially if you have children, the bikes, games, golf, hot tub and somany extras will keep them busy.

This is our second stay at Captain Hooks. We have enjoyed our second stay as much as our first. Always clean, plenty of items for the kitchen, an abundance of towels and blankets. We did need assistance twice and the host responded quickly. The problem was solved in a few minutes both times!! We will be renting again!

10/10 recommend! We had such a good time. Super clean. There were so many things for kids to enjoy. Cooking was made easy with all appliances, spices, and pantry space. We will definitely be booking again.

Thanksgiving stay...

Perfect place for a family holiday! My grown kids enjoyed the huge living room for their toddlers to run around in and my littles LOVED all the fun activities under the house ("axe" throwing, ping pong, corn hole, even a little putt putt area!). We all very much enjoyed the hot tub and the short distance to the beach. Everything was wonderful and can't wait to come back!

Great host

The property was very nice. Close access to the beach.A lot of activities stocked in the home for rainy days and for some downtime . The house was equipped with all of your necessities for your trip. The host responded back in a timely manner and was very welcoming with any questions or concerns.

A true hideout from the chaos of a busy life. A quick jaunt from a beautiful stretch of beach and a haven of rest filled with family-friendly activities and all the comforts of home.Communication with the owner was clear and FAST each time we reached out, the details in the listing were accurate, the beds were comfortable (I wanted to take the master king home with me), the linens provided were clean, the towels fresh and plentiful, and the pantry stocked with all the essentials (and then some! We added a few baking staples, too). If you are a detail-oriented person, you will appreciate every aspect from check-in to check-out. Labels abound, checklists are everywhere, and their book of information includes PICTURES for all of the important stuff (you'll be able to operate the hot tub like a PRO). I cannot say enough good things about this property. From coffee on the deck, to morning surf fishing, to book time in the hammocks... Coffee table puzzles, plenty of space at the kitchen table for meals and card games, and all we had to show up with was clothing. The IGA and Food Lion supplied our groceries and the restaurants, ice cream, coffee, and pier were all close enough that the drives could be measured in "one song" or "two songs" measures. Even though all of our kids are grown, as adults we enjoyed the space thoroughly (and could just imagine adding grandkids into the mix of activities and play space some day in the future). Stay here. No regrets. Period.

Best week ever!

This house was so clean and welcoming! Our kids ranged from 2-10 yrs old, they never got bored. They offered plenty of bath towels and beach towels. The hot maintenance man came by while we were in the hot tub and was so nice, offered to come by the next day. The view from the deck was awesome! Any questions we had the host answered very quickly and were always understanding and polite! They are pet friendly also. We can't wait to come back!

great middle of the island house

First of all this house is great for families, lots for teens to do and it's literally a quick two block walk to the beach with direct beach access. The house is comfortable and nothing fancy at all, but the host had even the small details taken care off. Beds are comfy, plenty of bath towels, and beach towel. Beach chairs, coolers, and even a beach cart to get everything to the beach. The Hot tub is very well taken care of, I was there when the pool guy came to service it. If you have a crowd looking for a laid back time in a great location this is the place to be.

This rental couldn't have been any better. Everything was clean and neat and the host was amazing. We vacation a few times a year and this has been one of the best. Dont hesitate to book with Lori! You won't regret it.

We enjoy helping people spend family time in a relaxing home. Cap'N Hook's Hideout welcomes everyone into our family with lots of love put into the home and things to do right there. Location is great for beach, things to do and great restaurants.

This property is a great corner lot with lots of outside activities, very short walk to beach, short drive to shopping and very welcoming vibes.

No matter is it is rain or shine our property has many things to do inside and outside. Games inside, plenty of space and the home away from home feel. Outside we have hot tub, puttn green, axe throwing and thats just a few things. It's a corner lot with plenty of room to run around or to sit to relax.
