I'm originally from Texas, but moved to Pennsylvania in 1999 to be closer to my wife's family. Hosting has always been something I genuinely enjoy - from bringing family together for holidays, to inviting neighbors over and making them feel at home. That same spirit carries over into hosting Beachside Retreat, where I take pride in creating a welcoming, comfortable experience for every guest.

Our family has created so many wonderful memories at the beach over the years, and Beachside Retreat was designed with that same goal in mind - to give guests a place where they can relax, reconnect, and make memories of their own. I'm very hands-on as a host and care deeply about details, whether that's comfort, cleanliness, or making sure guests feel well taken care of both before and during their stay.

Family means everything to me. I'm blessed with great parents, a loving wife, two children, their spouses, and four grandchildren, and I understand how important it is to have a space that works well for families, couples, and groups alike. My hope is that every guest leaves feeling refreshed, welcomed, and already looking forward to their next visit.

We chose North Topsail Beach because it offers the kind of coastal experience that's becoming harder to find - peaceful, uncrowded, and naturally beautiful. The beaches here feel open and relaxed, with wide stretches of sand, gently sloped shorelines, and the soothing rhythm of the ocean rather than rows of high-rises and heavy traffic.

What we love most is the sense of calm. Mornings start with wea breezes and birds instead of noise, and evenings are perfect for listening to the waves and watching the sky change colors from our decks. It's a place where you can truly slow down, reconnect, and enjoy the simple pleasures of being at the beach.

At the same time, North Topsail Beach is wonderfully convenient, While it feels tucked away from the crowds, we're only about 12 minutes from grocery stores, shopping, and excellent local restaurants, making it easy to enjoy both quiet beach days and nearby amenities without long drives.

For us, North Topsail Beach strikes the perfect balance - natural beauty, privacy and serenity, with everything you need close by. It's the kind of place guests often say feels like the beach they grew up on, and that's exactly why we chose to make Beachside Retreat our home away from home.

Beachside Retreat offers the space, comfort, and coastal experience that guests rarely find this close to the ocean. This spacious 4-bedroom, 4-story townhome is just a one-minute walk to its private beach access, making it incredibly easy to enjoy the sand and surf without the crowds,
One of our most loved features is the second living area located in the expansive top-floor primary suite - perfect for families who want space to spread out. Kids can enjoy their own hangout upstairs, while adults relax below, or everyone can gather to watch their favorite team on the 65" Roku Smart TV with complimentary Spectrum Sports Live.
While we're not directly beachfront, guests are often surprised by how close it feels. The home is less than 100 yards from the beach, offering beautiful angled ocean views, refreshing sea breezes, and the soothing sound of crashing waves.
The layout is ideal for groups and multi-family stays, with four bedrooms thoughtfully spread across three levels, providing privacy without sacrificing togetherness. Outdoors, you'll love our five decks, including three beachside decks furnished with comfortable, high-quality seating - perfect for sunrise coffee, afternoon lounging, or unwinding after a day at the beach.
Located in the quiet, laid-back community of North Topsail Beach, Beachside Retreat gives you the best of both worlds: peaceful surroundings and natural beauty, yet just 12 minutes from shopping, dining, and local attractions in Sneads Ferry.
Whether you're planning a family vacation, a friends' getaway, or a relaxing coastal escape, Beachside Retreat delivers space, views, comfort, and an unbeatable location near the ocean - all designed to help you truly have a remarkable stay.
