Here’s a polished VRBO review you can post:⸻We had an amazing stay at Reef Romance in the Cayman Islands! The house was perfect for our large group—very spacious with plenty of room for everyone to spread out and relax comfortably. The layout worked great for both gathering together and having private space when needed.The kitchen was extremely well equipped, which made cooking meals at home easy and enjoyable. We appreciated having everything we needed, especially with a big group.The location is fantastic—just a short drive to Rum Point, Starfish Beach, and Kai Bo. It made exploring and enjoying some of the best spots on the island so convenient.Overall, Reef Romance was a wonderful place to stay, and we would absolutely recommend it for families or larger groups visiting Grand Cayman!

The host was very responsive and helpful prior to our trip and during our stay. The layout of the house provided excellent group space for fun and dining as well as privacy for all at night. There was good snorkeling literally in the backyard, as well as activities and grocery within a few miles.

Our family had a truly wonderful vacation at Reef Romance! Our host was exceptional. This incredible home was thoughtfully stocked with everything we needed to begin our stay. Kayaking and snorkeling were incredible, and all the water sports gear was conveniently provided. The pool deck was very inviting. We would wholeheartedly recommend this fantastic home. We adore the North Side and sincerely hope to return soon! Thank you again for allowing us to stay in your beautiful home.

Check-in was easy and house was very clean! Instructions were clear as to who to contact for anything, and Roy and Alex were responsive and extremely helpful! Things for future guests: there is a small cooler to use for the beach, plenty of beach towels, and plenty of snorkeling gear for 9 of us (with all sizes too). There was no cooking oil, charcoal for the grill, coffee, salt or sugar; so you’ll want to get those things at a grocery store near Georgetown before coming to the North Side. It happened to be really windy during our week, but you can still snorkel; we loved playing volleyball and cornhole, and kayaked when the surf was a little less rough. Short drive to Rum Point and Kaibo beach club if you want someone to bring you drinks or make you lunch on the beach. We utilized the kitchen for all breakfasts, most lunches and one night of dinner, and everything worked great. It was also great that each room has its own full bathroom AND that there is a bathroom outside! I highly recommend this house and I would definitely stay there again (which is saying a lot because we usually only stay in rentals that have gym equipment-we were able to swim, snorkel, and do strength and yoga on the patio every day, so it was fine. The only thing I would recommend to the owner is having a WiFi extender for outside(perhaps in bar?)-we had to stay very close to the house to use the WiFi for group workouts. (Portable speakers would work off our phones, but laptops would not work.)

In describing our experience at Reef Romance, it’s difficult to know quite where to begin. Everything was exceptional, meeting & exceeding our expectations. In advance of our trip, Karen provided us with a letter containing lots of useful information about the property & surrounding area. When we reached out at the last minute with a few additional questions, she was immediately responsive & helpful. This pattern continued throughout our stay. We overall had little reason to reach out because everything at the property was so thoughtfully well-appointed, but when we did, Karen was amazing. There was a small amount of seaweed & trash washed up on the beach. This was consistent with all the properties along the north shore & is not something the owner could be expected to avoid. We enjoyed the spectacular views from every room in the house, the separate air-conditioning controls for the bedrooms & the main downstairs area, lounging by the pool, walking in the sand, cooking/eating meals together in the well equipped kitchen, a couple of drives to Seven Mile for fancy dinners out, the ferry from Rum Point to Camana Bay and especially the bioluminescent kayak tour at Rum Point. We would jump at the opportunity to visit Reef Romance again in the future. It was phenomenal!
Loved the craft we had the opportunity to do, making a sign from where we were from. Lots of fun!

We took our kids and grandkids to Cayman Islands for a family vacation. After viewing many, many property options, we decided on Reef Romance. So glad we did!! It was perfect for a family of 10, or with 5 couples. Every bedroom has a private bath (which was our deciding factor). We didn’t know how great the view was from each bedroom until we got there. Better than the photos! Snorkeling and kayaking in your own backyard with random chickens cruising around made it even better. The front yard was just as gorgeous. Lots of activities nearby and we especially enjoyed Kaibo barefoot bbq night our host recommended.

The house was great and the owner was doing upgrades to it to keep it up. Plenty of room for party of 8, a couple small issues arise and they were quick to take care of them. Alex and Jennifer were great.This would have been an easy 5 but we stayed 2 weeks. Overtime the pool got green as after the first day we were there never saw the pool guys again. Our last day the pool guys came at 6am so that meant we couldn't get our morning swim in for the day. They wanted the house cleaner to come in at 9am to get ready for the next party that was coming in that day, only thing is checkout isn't until 10am and we were getting ready to leave. We also paid extra for a mid stay cleaning and restocking where we were running out of everything after the cleaning, once again great job Alex and Jennifer. I'm sure this house would have been an easy 5 for a weeks stay but they need to work on maintain the facilities for people that stay longer.

Fantastic home that is even more beautiful than the pictures. Lots of snorkel/pool gear as well as kayaks kept us busy and on the water most of our stay. We really enjoyed the beach volleyball as well! A quiet and relaxing part of the island, and yet still close enough to many activities and restaurants. The upstairs bathrooms also had excellent placement of the towel hooks. We hope to be back soon!

We had a wonderful three weeks in Grand Cayman. Reef Romance can use a few updates, but overall it was exactly as it appears in the photos. It is so convenient to all the water activities that you would want, it is in a very quiet location…just the rooster, chickens and an occasional gecko. Unfortunately, the water and the beach were overloaded with sargassum. Can’t stop Mother Nature. Our host, Karen, went above and beyond to address the requests that we had. Couldn’t ask for anyone better. Having her quick responses to address issues is not usually found in most vacation rentals. Roy, from the management company, was also excellent. Got a path cleared to get kayaks in and out of the water. Got a disposal replaced. He was so friendly and helpful.After reading a review about Chef Remy, we did hire him for a family dinner. Went to Stingray City a couple of times…always so much fun. If you go, take advantage of all the wonderful sites and activities.

25 years coming to North Side

Over many years and many iterations of our family, we have stayed in several types of accommodations. Reef Romance was one of the best. Having a private bathroom for each of us was very nice! The bedrooms were all adequate, the master was huge! The common areas - livingroom, diningroom/kitchen allowed us to be together as much as we wanted. Several nights we all watched movies together. Fixing meals was often a family affair and that was nice for three generations to share.Needless to say, after 25 years we still love "coming home" to North Side. It is convenient for everything we need and want and allows us to foray into the far reaches of the island when we want to.The only slight drawback is that the water was so shallow. Granted, we were there at a full moon time (and tide) so that meant for low lows and less water. But notes in the guest book indicated we were not the only ones having trouble getting out to snorkel.I won't mention the Sargassum because anyone coming to Grand Cayman knows it can be an issue. You deal with it, sometimes by going to other beaches. It's not a deal killer for us. Though we do remember the times when the waters teemed with fish and there was no Sargassum. Every place changes over a quarter of a century.Would we go back to North Side - you bet! Would we stay at Reef Romance - it's on the list of places to check when we make our next plans!

Wonderful place

Stayed for a week and had a great time. Loved location. Unlucky for us there was seaweed on this side of the island while we were there. Difficult to get in the water by the house, but enjoyed the pool and went down road to rumpoint where beaches were clear of seaweed.

Great House and Location

Reef Romance was the perfect house! There are 5 master bedrooms, a very large gathering room, a great kitchen, and a kitchen table that sits 8-10 people! The pool, with plenty of lounge chairs, the outdoor bar area, and 2 hammocks were used by us all daily! We felt like we hit the lottery with this house!The location of the house was on The NorthSide. We loved how close it was to Rum Point and Starfish Beach. The restaurants in this area were all great! We had friends who did several dive and snorkeling trips! The stingray trip was the best! Swimming with them was a blast! We did take a drive to 7 mile beach, which was about an hour away. The beach was beautiful, and the water was so clear and warm to swim and snorkel in……we stayed to have lunch at Bonny-Moon, which I highly recommend. Our last night on the island, we had dinner at Tukka on the East End, which is right on the water’s edge. The food was delicious!But our favorite thing that we did during the week was to hirer Chef Remy for 3 fabulous, unbelievable dinners! They set up, serve you, and clean up the entire dinner! It was truly the best thing we did! Highly recommend Chef Remy and his team! The property manager, Karen Anderson, answered all our questions pre-trip, and Roy, who was the onsite manager, was a phone call away! They both were at our fingertips at a moments notice, and were greatly appreciated!We look forward to our next trip to the Cayman’s Island!

Amazing place to stay

The pictures do not do it justice. We spent most of the days at the pool or on the beach. The Kitchen was well stock and we were able to cook most meals. You will need a car if you want to explore the island. We will be back.

Reef Romance is a fabulous property on the water with many amenities. Each room has a spectacular view of the beautiful beach - so no one feels left out. The comfortable common area makes for an intimate setting for group chatting while each bedroom is spacious in case anyone wants private time.The kitchen is fully stocked with equipment for home cooking and dining out is easy with many local restaurants within a short driving distance. We could not have been happier!

Paradise

This was our first time to Grand Cayman and Reef Romance was perfect. Beautiful property and great location. The house was fully stocked, lots of beach towels, snorkeling gear, kayaks, etc. Also provided was shampoo, body wash, trash bags, dishwasher pods, etc which was very helpful.The owners/managers provided lots of helpful information,and responded quickly anytime we had questions or needed anything. Highly recommend.

Amazing!!

All 9 of us absolutely loved our stay. The view and the beach was amazing!! Communication with the host was great. The house had everything we needed, the kitchen was well stocked, lots of beach towels, chairs and snorkeling masks. We would highly recommend Reef Romance and hope to return soon!

Private Pool and Beach

This home is just as pictured. It is a perfect gathering for 5 couples. Everyone has their own suite and yet enough gathering space to hang out. The pool always seemed to have a shade for those not wanting to be in the sun. Ample chairs around the pool and for sitting out in the sand. Everyone enjoyed a turn in the hammocks! The only negative we had was the amount of wind "stuff" that ended up on the beach. This is no fault of the home, just a bit windy during our stay. The jetted tub in the master bath did not work, but it did not spoil our stay. The bathroom out by the pool kept tracking into the house to a minimal. A fridge by the pool/bar.. would have been nice, but the abundance of plastic cups/glasses was perfect. I would highly recommend this home for as excellent gathering of family and friends. The home was well stocked with games, towels and everything you need, except food and beverage. The people were polite and reserving was made easy via the internet.

Sun, Sand and Coconut Palm Trees

Three adult couples and two single adults fit into Reef Romance perfectly. All had their own on-suite rooms with beautiful furnishings and all rooms had a magnificent view of the blue Caribbean sea. Kitchen was equipped with everything you need and the outdoor pool, bar and beach were great.
