Gulf Shores Plantation puts you right in the middle of fun. There's never a dull moment with the on-site amenities, nearby golfing or enjoying the many activities to be found in Gulf Shores, Alabama. You're within a short distance of fine-dining, shopping and concert/festival venues. Some activities include: charter fishing boats, boat & jet ski rentals, Parasailing, dolphin cruises, sunset sailboat cruises, beautiful back bays for boating, tubing, skiing and fishing, amusement parks, great restaurants with entertainment for all ages, golf, outlet malls, live concerts at The Wharf Amphitheater, and of course, plenty of sugary sand beaches.

Family vacation

Condo was nice. Property was well maintained. Pools on the other hand were not. Obviously nothing to do with condo itself but lots of people using the facilities and it seems the pools were not being maintained to a standard. Lots of debris and pumps not working.

My family has stayed at allot of Alabama beach properties, including various GSP units, over the years. This condo was very clean, well thought out, and very updated. I think the owners put allot of effort into updating an older unit. We absolutely loved the unit itself. The flooring, paint, kitchen tools, appliances, fixtures, furniture, etc., were all in great newer condition. The price was great for this unit. I am officially complimenting the owner because this was a great condo. The only things we would have liked were slightly larger tv's and a king bed. But that's just personal preference. We did have issues with the condominium management and/or HOA but we were not sure who or how to address them during our 8 night stay June 13-21, 2026. 1) There were several HOA events were they used the loading area of building 4 for parties so people couldn't actually load/unload under the covered loading area. 2) We rented this condo at GSP for access to the kid friendly pool with the large 1' shallow end next to the GSP surf boards. During our stay this pool was constantly closed with no notice of why. The adult 21 pool and other GSP pools on the far side of the property would all be open. We constantly had to disappoint our kids after the long walk to a closed pool. Note: there were several good weather days, including an entire Saturday, where this pool was closed. The updated indoor pool was freezing or we would have used it.

It’s wonderful to know the cleanliness, furnishings, finishes, kitchen setup, and overall value helped make your stay a great one. We’re sorry to hear there were some parking and access hiccups with the shared unloading area during your visit. The onsite facilities, amenities, and common areas are managed by the building HOA and property management, so those decisions are not handled by our team directly. The same is true for the resort pools. The HOA may have needed to close the pool for unplanned repairs, maintenance, or treatment during your stay, and we’re sorry for the inconvenience that caused—especially with disappointed kiddos after making the walk over. We hope they were treated to a few extra ice cream scoops to help turn things around. We appreciate your kind words about the condo and your helpful feedback about the resort experience. We hope to welcome you back soon to enjoy the full amenity package Gulf State Park has to offer!

Everything about this place was A perfect. From the moment I booked till we checked out. Always in fast communication, place was spotless and not was wonderful
