Perfect getaway

Great location with lots to do / food options within a 10-15 minute drive. Beautiful property with everything we needed for our stay and you can’t beat the view.

Beautiful view!

Beautiful view and sounds of the ocean. Good bedroom and living spaces. Kitchen stocked very well. Close to beaches with beach gear available. Busy street but with fans going it was quiet in the house. The only issue we had was with how hot it gets in the afternoon since there is no A/C. The fans provided helped but it was cooler outside in the afternoon/early evening because of the breeze.

Unbelievable location, exceptional vacation rental

We have stayed in many vacation rentals as a family of 5 all over the world, we all agree this is the best one. The location of this house, essentially on the ocean, is incredible. We saw whales breaching from the lanai and watched waves crash day and night. The sound of the ocean can be heard from all rooms. The house itself is immaculate and very well maintained. The proximity to food trucks and Foodland was very helpful. We had very high expectations, given the reviews and photos on the listing. This is the only vacation rental we have ever seen that is even better in person than in pictures.

Beautiful views in Paradise

The house and location are amazing. Just a very short walk to Waimea, Three Tables beach, and Foodland. Not having A/C wasn’t an issue, but a roll down blind in the L/R would really help. The evening sunsets are laser hot! It’s under 100 at the big box stores.

Relaxing Visit to the North Shore

We stayed 4 nights at this comfortable house on the water. We watched surfers and whales from our deck. The sunsets and the moon shining on the waves are incredible. There is no air conditioning but ceiling fans in every room. thwindowecomfortable.

Excellent Stay

We had an amazing trip and spent most of our nights and mornings on the deck staring at the ocean. Location is perfect with your choice of beaches (Waimea Bay, Three tables or Shark'sCove). Lots of great food trucks within walking distance too. Can't wait to go back.

Great house !

The house and location can’t be beat ! We wish we could stay longer ! Walk to several beaches and food trucks . This place really can’t be beat on the north shore ! We will definitely be back.

Fantastic location and great host!

Fantastic location right on the water! Host was great and very accommodating. My reason for giving it an overall four stars instead of five was because there is no air conditioning in this house. They do have lots of fans, but it just cannot keep up with the heat during the last couple of hours when the sun is setting And shining directly into the back of the house. A couple of AC splits would definitely keep it cool! Overall, a good experience.

Perfect

Amazing property, perfect location. It was easy to check in and property manager made sure we were Ok. We really only left to swim. Dolphins jumping in the distance, waves crashing, what else could you want?

Hidden Gem in Waimea

We ADORED This place. What a view and so cozy! Not immediately by the beach but a short walk and that's totally okay. We will definitely be back! There was no AC so it did get hot but the breeze was nice.

Fantastic location in front of the ocean

We (parent with 2 young adults) appreciate the easy checkin, the cleanliness,the veranda in front of the ocean and the grill as well as the outdoor shower. Enough towels. Perfect location: two beaches are within easy walking distance as well as numerous food trucks and a supermarket. We spend a lot of time contemplating the waves, the sunsets and the stars. Only the kitchen could be a little better stocked (more plate, glasses and a new toaster)

Amazing Views

My family had a wonderful and relaxing stay! Very short walking distance to Wiamea Bay, which is a beautiful beach for swimming and snorkeling. Sharks Cove is about a 6 min walk (wear your water shoes the rocks are sharp) and it is a protective cove with lots of fish. The food trucks are right across from sharks cove and offer a variety of tasty choices. We hardly got in our car. You can even walk to Foodland (grocery store) which has a coffee shop right next to it. 4 min drive to the botanical gardens where you can walk to and swim at a waterfall, lots of cool cultural exhibits are along the hike and the food is good there. The house is very clean and comfortable with nice bedding and lots of pillows. The outdoor shower was heavenly to use after swimming in the ocean. Chickens visit the yard, which my kids loved. The view is amazing from sunrise with rainbows to sunset! The host is very responsive if you have any questions. If you are looking for a place to relax and unwind this is definitely the place to stay :)

Gorgeous Ocean View and Home - NEEDS A/C

Beautiful home and oceanfront views, as well as access to spectacular beaches within a few steps from the home. The home, location, etc. are perfect with the exception of NO AIR CONDITIONING!!! The home gets direct evening sun and is blazing hot. Given the cost per night of this rental it is difficult to understand why air conditioning would not be installed. I would not stay at this rental again solely because of the heat.

Perfect week at Waimea Bay

For purely selfish reasons, I am reluctant to review this property for fear that thereafter it will be forever perpetually rented and my family and I will never be able to book it again. Only kidding, but this place was exactly what we were looking for. The rear of the place is next to and directly overlooking the ocean. You can kick back on the very comfortable deck, and dine while enjoying the afternoon sunsets. The owners have done just the right amount of home improvement to refresh the interior without ruining the old-style charm of the place with overdone luxuries. It's clean and airy. The beds are comfortable. The kitchen has everything we needed to settle in and cook our own meals. We also used the BBQ on the deck quite a bit. The owners were very helpful with suggestions around the area. They directed us to the local elementary school for early morning tennis. They have bikes available to ride east along Sunset Beach. Basic snorkel gear worked just fine at nearby Shark's Cove. The place is between Waimea Bay and Three Tables, and both beaches within very easy walking distance. In fact, I even swam around the rocky points to both beaches from the rocky entry at the foot of the backyard. Don't miss taking an early morning walk in Waimea Valley...gorgeous. Extremely private and still close to everything on the North Shore.

This property is extremely private and has one of the best views possible on the North Shore. We were astonished by the incredible view of the ocean and the pipeline surfers. We were also able to see a pod of humpback whales as they swam by! We were very comfortable staying in this home with 4 adults and 2 children. The beach, the grocery store, and food trucks were all within walking distance. The owner was quick to contact us to see if we needed anything additional for our stay. We look forward to staying here again in the future.

Oahu get away

This house was just perfect!!! Beautiful views!! Walking distance to a market. I can not say enough wonderful things about our stay here. We sat on the porch from sunrise to sunset!!!

Waimea Bay Getaway

Nat's place is amazing; on the water with a view of the surfers taking off at Wiamea Bay when its big enough to break (it was!) Super chill residential vibe. My family and I (5 adults) had a wonderful time here over the Thanksgiving Holiday. Nice kitchen, open floor plan, ocean views and sounds and light flood the main room. You can walk to everything you need. Nat was very easy to work with and very nice. We'll come again.

Wish wee could have have stayed here

We booked this property for 3 days after spending 4 in Waikiki Beach. I was concerned on our check-in date I still didn't hear from the host on arrival instructions. We drove out to North Shore where the property is located early so we could get to know the area. We found the property and the location can't be beat. The beaches are stunning, a large grocery store, restaurants and food trucks are in walking distance. The property directly faces the ocean. At check-in time, I tried using the phone and message icons on the reservation details but those were not working. I contacted VBRO Customer Service. After researching, they indicated the host didn't upload their details and arrival instructions to the app. That is why the icons didn't work. VBRO was unable to reach the host and offered to find us alternative property until they could reach the host but I asked the reservation be cancelled and fully refunded. We booked a hotel at that point. Two days later I got a notification on the VBRO app and the host sent the arrival info, security codes, etc. I now was able to reach the host via phone and asked for a full refund, which they stated they arrange with VBRO. As of mid October, I've not received any refund and this is still pending as of mid October. I continue to follow up with VBRO America Guarantee Department. While we didn't stay in the property, from the outside and location it is a great location.
