It’s also great to hear that the location worked well for trips to Málaga, Fuengirola, Torremolinos and Benalmádena, and that you enjoyed having the marina within walking distance. You described the hill very fairly — the walk back from the beach is uphill and can feel more noticeable in the summer heat, although many guests also see it as a bit of free exercise after dinner. Thank you as well for respecting the quiet residential setting. Casa Virgo is very much designed for families and relaxed holidays rather than parties, so we really appreciate guests who understand that. Immediately after Yvonne made the reservation, I informed her that this is a quiet community where noise is not allowed. This information is also clearly stated in the listing, and parties are strictly prohibited at any time of day or night. Yvonne requested an early check-in, and I kindly allowed her and her friends to enter free of charge starting from 1 PM. However, they arrived already before 12 PM. As soon as they arrived, a loud bachelorette-style party started — 10 women laughing, shouting, and playing music outside. Naturally, this disturbed the neighbors, who quickly contacted me. I tried several times to reach Yvonne and also contacted Vrbo, but was unable to get hold of anyone. The party went on for many hours and upset many neighbors. Only the following day did Yvonne reply and apologize for the disturbance caused. The decibel meter is installed purely for self-monitoring. During normal conversation, it remains well within the allowed limit. It does not record any sound, it simply displays the current noise level to help guests remain mindful. If 10 people talk calmly, it stays within limits even at night. But if 10 people are shouting and partying, the reading naturally exceeds the allowed level. The patio camera is a security camera installed to deter theft and ensure guest safety. In one thing I fully agree with Yvonne — this apartment is not suitable for parties, and definitely not for bachelorette parties. Unfortunately, the apartment was left very dirty and in poor condition after their departure. Furthermore, even though I had kindly offered them a free late check-out until 3 PM, Yvonne did not leave until 6 PM.
