This newly and fully restored turn of the 20th Century home is both elegant and conveniently located. Located 3 blocks from University Hospital and University of Cincinnat College of Medicine and a 2 minute drive to the University of Cincinnati main campus.

The Cincinnati Zoo and downtown Cincinnati are less than 3 miles away. Other nearby attractions are Xavier University, Paul Brown Stadium, Great American Ball Park, Kings Island Amusement Park and much more.

The Standard Rental includes the whole house EXCLUDING the 3rd Floor (with 4 additional twin beds) and the finished Basement (with 2nd full bath, laundry facilities and additional gathering space). Collectively, the Basement and 3rd Floor are considered Extra Space and may be purchased separately for an additional fee of $70 per night.

This is a very nice house with lots of space including a comfortable sitting room, large dining area and cute well-fitted-out kitchen. Great location near UC and the UC medical campus (the Zoo too) and Corryville/Short Vine neighborhood. You can easily walk to Short Vine, Kroger (groceries) and Walgreens. A favorite coffee bar of mine is just around the corner (Highland Coffee House). I would be very happy to stay here again.

We stayed at property with friends for Bearcats football game. Close to campus and great location. Nice home to stay with large group of people.

Nicely updated, older home that is comfortably furnished and has a lot of character. The host was easy to contact and very accommodating.

Bachelor Party Stay

House was really clean and had plenty of space, Mark communicated really well with check in instructions, made for a smooth process. Nice location near campus area and not far from Mt. Adams or downtown, we had a good time!

Family holiday in the Buck Eye !

This property's was conveniently located off I-75 in location that was quiet and easily accessed ,it was in vicinity close to grocery stores. House was equipped with all the utensils and equipment for a family cooking holiday !

Good time

We came for a bachelor party, this house was exactly what we needed. Plenty of places for everyone to sleep, plenty of street parking outside. Can’t beat it for the price. Plus it’s a 7 minute ride to the casino so that was a plus.

Ideal location for our conference on the University of Cincinnati campus. We rented the entire property thinking we would use the basement space but did not other for the second shower. Stairs leading to basement are steep and narrow. Obvious attempts to present a tidy property but very strong smell of cleaning product when we arrived so we had to open all windows for a few hours. Then we discovered mouse droppings in the oven and silverware drawer so had to clean everything ourselves before using the kitchen. The kitchen condition negated what otherwise would have been an enjoyable stay.

Cozy and spacious

Great house for a large group. Very homey with comfy sitting areas and includes extra bedding. There is only 1 shower if you don’t pay for the extra space. Mattresses could be better. It was a hot weekend and a/c worked great. There is a small driveway to park in. Walkable to UC. Thank you!

Close to UC

Older Clifton home but super close to the University of Cincinnati! Mark was quick to respond and the house was very clean! Gayle did a great job prepping the home and we walked in with it smelling great! Would have been tricky with a house full to capacity with only 2 bathrooms and a small kitchen but it was perfect for our family to get together for my daughter’s graduation! Thank you for letting us stay in your home! I would definitely rent again!

Looks better in person than in the pics

Looks better in person than in the pics. However, the set up in the living room is smaller than it looks in the pics, but still worked well for my situation. Had good communication with the host. Was clean. Nicely decorated. Very homey. Decent place for a gathering. Everyone liked it. This was my very first VRBO rental and I don't know how it all works, but I made sure the place was clean before leaving. The only thing that was missing there were trash bags for the kitchen trash can. Luckily, I had brought some of my own. So glad I did! Overall, I was pleased with my first VRBO :)

Bachelorette Party

Upon booking the owner had messaged me about their gratitude for booking and clarifying how much space we would need. We had 11 people in our party and in order to get access to all the floors he notified me that it would be an additional cost. He was gracious with the extra charge but it would've been nice to have something on the listing about that. Other than that, the property was in a great location, with plenty of space for all of us to gather and great for sleeping accommodations. If there were anything I could change about the property itself would be to have a better flow to the kitchen but for a weekend where we ate at restaurants quite often, it worked perfectly for us.

We were delighted to host your group and are glad you enjoyed the space. We routinely remind people about the standard rental to make sure they have thoroughly read the short property description. The description states, "Standard rental includes 3 bedrooms and 1.5 baths. For larger parties additional space (4th bedroom with 4 twins, basement, 2nd full bath and access to washer/dryer) can be rented for an additional fee of $70/night by request only." We are sorry you might have missed this disclosure, but it is already prominently presented in the description.. Thanks for your feedback. We will explore if there's a way we can make it even more evident.

1. I never got the email to instruct me on how to access the property. I had to call the owner. 2. The house needs to be cleaned better. We actually began to sanitize the kitchen, dining room, and bathrooms. 3. I reached out to the manager because we couldn’t figure out how to adjust the air. I called her a few times and left a message before she called me back. 4. When a client leaves the entire house should be throughly checked. There were some clothes in the nightstand drawer left behind which wasn’t any of ours.

Mixed thoughts about the booking.

While the location was on the edge of nice properties, the entry area was uncomfortable. The entry ramp appeared in disrepair, with peeling paint. The first floor was very nice and the owner responded when the TV wasn't working. The upstairs had individual window air conditioners in each room, and while they worked well, the filters were in need of cleaning to get the air (we did clean the filters). In general, it appeared from the stairwell to, and including the second floor, there was painting and work needed. As a side note, the toilet seat on the first floor was cracked and pinched the butt of my grandson. Having said all of these, we would be willing to book again with some maintenance to the property.

Thank you for your feedback and for your patience while we replaced the TV. The crank in the toilet seat appears to have occurred during your stay, as my cleaners noted. There also appeared to be damage to the dining room table, perhaps from placing a hot dish on it without a trivet. Finally, it is very helpful for guests to follow the check-out instructions. It helps with the turnover. We had a same day turn-around when you checked out. Failure to follow checkout instructions delayed turnover. Fortunately or new guests arrived after check-in time so it didn't inconvenience them.

New favorite house

I rent home a lot anytime friends or family in town this was the best home. I rented so big with plenty of room for me and all my friends This house has real beds that’s comfortable. Everything you need is a couple blocks away grocery store Walgreens CVS plenty of restaurants. Even the emergency room I left my charger went back to get it. got to meet the host. The host made me love the house even more. Was so sweet and nice. I’m most definitely staying again.

Comfortable overnight for large group

We had a group of 12 adults traveling through the Cincinnati and needed an overnight stay. The home was surprisingly large with plenty of room for all of us. It was clean and comfortable. We had a slight issue with access to the extra space that we had requested, but a quick call to the homeowner and the issue was immediately resolved. I would recommend this home for anyone with similar requirements.
