1 MINUTUE WALK TO BEACH FROM BHI BEACH FRONT HOME
Welcome to your BHI beach front escape! Starrush Sanctuary is 3 BR 3.5 bath beach front home that is perfect for your relaxing family getaway to BHI. Don't want to lug kids and supplies in golf carts to the beach? You've found your place. This home is directly across from a public beach access. You can hear the waves crash from the front porch where you can enjoy your morning coffee.
This property underwent a full-scale renovation in summer of 2024. As you can see from the pictures, the renovation was comprehensive and resulted in a clean, inviting, environment.
This home is the perfect size for two families. Note that while the house sleeps 10 people, she's best suited for two families with 4 adults and 4-6 children.
The first-floor bedroom is large and holds full beds and a twin trundle. The bathroom is large and completely renovated. The top floor contains two rooms. One holds a queen and is very quiet. The second room is the "master" room with a queen bed that faces the ocean, and this room can see the ocean over the dune. If your dream is to wake up to see the ocean, you are in the right place. Both upstairs rooms contain "en suite" bathrooms.
The front porch is a dream that has seating that faces the ocean for your perfect sunset cocktail or meal while hearing the ocean waves crash. There is also a screened in porch in the family room that is perfect for morning coffee or relaxing.
This property does have access to the BHI club for an additional cost. You sign up through the BHI club website and the property will appear. The property does come with 2 four seater golf carts. Both are in great working condition.
Other than the property being close to the beach, it is in very close proximity to the BHI Club clubhouse and the port where the ferry arrives. The location could not be better for your late evening drives to the clubhouse for dinner or arriving on the tram after a long travel day. The location of this property on the island is second to none and is probably one of the most attractive features of the property.
There are four bikes that are there for your use and pack and plays for young children(and a high chair). There is a new propane grill that was purchased this season! There are hairdryers and shampoo/soap for every room. It’s the little things that matter and we have tried to think of everything!

Wonderful House. Wonderful view, steps away from the beach. Host was phenomenally receptive, and addressed any issue or question I had.

We had a great time at this property. It was perfect for our group of 8. The interior design was simple and clean with updated features. Perfect beach decor. The 2 golf carts worked well and there were plenty of great features like beach chairs, a well appointed kitchen, beach/bath towels and supplies. We will definitely rent again.

Beautiful Home
This is a beautiful home nearly on the beach (behind the dune). Very clean and fully upgraded. Owner is extremely responsive and helpful. Highly recommend!

This house is just over a dune and beach access 18, quiet beach. House was well equipped and comfortable. Hunter was responsive

We lucked out!
We enjoyed the variety of places to sit and chat/play games/eat: lovely deck with great furniture, screened porch with great furniture/ TV area with great furniture/dining table with great furniture.

Fall Break Getaway
Wonderful home, great location! Excellent communication with host! Home had every amenity you would ever need and more. They thought of everything. Would love to rent again. Thank you Hunter!

Magical weekend on BHI
We had an incredible last minute trip to BHI to celebrate my mom’s 65th birthday alongside my adult siblings. Beautiful property right on the beach! All freshly renovated with lovely decor, 2 golf carts, bald head island club access, bikes, outdoor balcony in the master with ocean views, and others. So relaxing and an escape from any stress. Check in and out process was super seamless with a door code access. 10/10 would stay again.

We loved our stay here! This oceanfront home is beautifully renovated, decorated with a lovely coastal feel, and stocked with everything our family needed. No hunting around for essentials or dealing with odd rental house quirks; it's all there and everything is clean, new, and comfortable. The deck and screen porch are delightful for listening to the waves crash while enjoying a meal or book, and the top-floor view is pure perfection for sipping your vacation beverage of choice. The location is ideal: quiet cul-de-sac right on the beach, close to the club, and just a short golf cart or bike ride to the market. We brought our dog and the easy beachfront access right across from the house made her morning and evening walks the highlight of her day (and honestly, ours too).The owner is super communicative, provided detailed instructions and helpful local tips, and is easy to work with. We're big Bald Head Island fans, and this home checked every box. We'll definitely be back!

Excellent BHI home
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay as a family of five in this home. It was decorated beautifully and had a smart, functional layout. Even the outdoor spaces (garage, outdoor shower) were very clean. The location was excellent. It is essentially at the midpoint of the island, and beach-facing. An easy trip to Marina, BHI club or market. With the beach access directly in front of the house, it was a quick walk with all of the gear. The front deck was wonderful at any time of day. Definitely a gem!

Great beach getaway
Overall we were super happy with our stay here!! It is the perfect place to take your family to really enjoy BHI!! The house gives off a relaxing vibe as soon as you walk in (super clean and fresh)All of the bedrooms are super spacious with their own bathrooms (and if you are there with kids you will really appreciate that !!) and plenty of closet space. The kitchen is well stocked with cooking supplies and the like so if your family likes to make meals together you will definitely be able to do it plus there are ample storage containers to put left overs in. The main living space was super comfortable for us and The screened in porch is a great space to hang out as well as the main deck that has ample seating for everyone The house is also very well stocked with bath towels,beach towels, shampoo, soap, trash bags, laundry detergent ect They really covered just about everything in that department The house was also equipped with plenty of beach chairs and other things to take down to the beach( this was so nice Hope people respect the efforts here by owner )
There are also 2 nice golf carts to use and both work, which is not always the case if you have ever been to BHI before The biggest miss for us was not having a grill but we were still able to do fine with what was in kitchen and for the teenagers was not having a tv in their rooms but honestly I don’t think they missed it that much Also the host is great at communicating if there are any issues

Beautiful home, excellent host! Bald Head is a wonderful place to vacation in general, but this home was a perfect place to stay. Beach access is steps away. Great view to the ocean from the top floor bedroom. Host was remarkably accessible and helpful. We’ll be back!

Our (new) favorite house on BHI with the best location. Beautiful home on a quiet street and situated right across from a beach access. The open floor plan was perfect for our family to hang out together and the kitchen was fully stocked. There is plenty of outdoor space with a huge deck and a lovely screened porch, which was the perfect place for morning coffee.

Amazing home with beach access right there. Home was perfect for our family with three bedrooms and attached bathrooms. We will definitely stay here again when visiting BHI!
