Quiet oasis steps from the water with access to Canadian Lakes amenities!

Welcome to our beautiful oasis on School Section Lake! The cottage is just steps away from the lake, and often when you look out the sliding doors or windows it sometimes seems as though you are actually floating on the water. There is a dock, so feel free to bring your own boat for your stay. The fishing is great, so don’t miss out on that! The cottage also has a shallow swim area, fire pit, propane grill, and a back deck that was made for relaxing. There is plenty of room for yard games as well, and enough seating for you and your family to enjoy their stay.

As for the cottage itself, it is fully furnished and includes three bedrooms, one full bathroom, and a half bath that doubles as a laundry room. You will have access to a stove, refrigerator, microwave, Wi-Fi internet, flat-screen television, board games, ladder toss, playing cards, coffee maker, toaster, dish soap, dish towels, cleaning supplies, a start-up supply of toilet paper and paper towels, furniture, pots, dishes, silverware, brooms, blankets, quilts, sheets, bath towels, bedspreads and pillows. You can sleep on the recliners or throw an air mattress in the main living room to easily sleep eight people. There is also plenty of parking space for up to five vehicles.

The rental also comes with two guest passes for you to enjoy the amenities at Canadian Lakes, which is just around the corner! You can enjoy world-class golfing, access to pools and a fitness area, tennis/pickleball courts, and outdoor recreation at your fingertips.

Aside from the amenities at Canadian Lakes, the area boasts nearby wineries, restaurants, and shopping for your convenience.

When you think about “going up north to spend some time at the lake”, this cottage is exactly what you have in mind. We are looking forward to having you experience all that our cottage has to offer!

At the lake

Great Place for Families!

My family had a wonderful time! The property included all the essentials and was very well maintained. There were lots of games and activities for the kids. Also, the neighbors were very friendly! We would certainly stay here again. Recommendations: Possibly include a few things for the lake, eg: fishing poles, life jackets and floaties. Thanks for sharing your property with us!! :)

In general we enjoyed it. But we were very disappointed because they charged us 100 USD for cleaning fees and the house was not clean especially both bathrooms. You can see in the corner and on the floor previous people’s hair and kind of dust. But the kids enjoyed it in general.

Home away from home on the lake!

The Oasis is a great little place to stay on the lake. It’s everything we envisioned it to be. We took our boat and was able to dock it there all weekend. Great fishing and a quiet neighborhood right on the water. The house was great, had everything you would need for a weekend or a longer trip. Great amenities lots of games and plenty of room for a family. Even had a washer and dryer which was nice! You get guest passes for all that Canadian lakes has to offer. Will definitely be coming back and bringing the rest of the family! Thank you having us can’t wait to come back 😊

My Bestie and I ~ Birthday Getaway

Beautiful lake… Beautiful yard… The getaway would have been complete if only the “Boat” worked. Paid extra to have the pontoon for the day Saturday (owners had to drive out to deliver keys) went to take an evening cruise and the boat would just die every time we started it up. If the water was not so slimy and murky we could have swam or floated in it (hence the need for the boat) Also, just a tip….you SHOULD NOT show up unexpectedly.

We are sorry that your stay did not meet with your expectations. And yes, the boat unfortunately did break down when you tried to use it. We obviously could not control that, and apologize for the inconvenience. We will have to address the boat issues before offering it to future renters. However, your review was unexpected because we allowed you to check in early and check out late with no extra charge, and we did not charge you anything for the use of the boat. Further, you did not let us know until Saturday morning that you even wanted to use the boat, otherwise we would have had everything ready for you. Regardless, we still made last-minute plans to drive down to the cottage to try to allow you to use the boat. And nobody showed up unexpectedly. That is very misleading - we would never want to disrupt anyone's vacation. After you called and said that the boat motor was smoking, we were obviously concerned about a safety hazard. We left a message on your phone, drove down to the cottage, simply walked down to the boat to make sure the gas was turned off and everything was safe, and left without even seeing you. Again, we did not show up unexpectedly. We would not normally respond to a review in such detail, especially since from our perspective you were good renters who took care of the cottage when you were there. However, your review had some inaccuracies that needed to be addressed.
