To keep things simple, the Sunset House in Redington Shores, Fl, has the all-time best combination of pool and beach accessibility that we ever encountered. That one single fact helped make our recent stay for our granddaughter the best vacation she ever had. She couldn’t stop thanking us for bringing her to the Sunset House. She had her very own private Florida playground. And, this is a track of white, sandy beaches that stretch for miles either way. As for the house itself, we were welcomed with snacks on the counter and drinks in the fridge. The house has a 2-system AC, and that was great for my son and his wife who took the back bedroom. Also, you will want for nothing…beach towels and plenty of beach & pool items, anything & everything for the kitchen, overflow of quality bath towels & bath accessories. Basically, you should consider the Sunset House for your next Florida beachfront vacation!!!

Sometimes, things go wrong on vacation. It always seems to be the case. It happened to us on our latest vacation to this wonderful property in Redington Shores, Fla. Upon checking in late on a Saturday, the AC was clearly not working properly. Now, this rental has a dual air conditioning system. The one for the back of the house was working just fine. So, when I contacted the host, I told her that we would be ok for the night and could sleep comfortably in the back bedroom. She would have none of that and had an HVAC technician at our door within the hour. On a Saturday evening no less. Shout out to hosts, Makayla & Chris and Claude, the Owner, for getting our week off to a fantastic start. These people are so kind, caring and generous. They really care about you having a great vacation and don’t just say it, they act upon it. You can go back to my August ‘26 review to get the lowdown on this great property. In the end, it always comes down to the people. You will be in the very best of hands should you decide to come stay at the Sunset House in Redington Shores, Florida!!!

The Sunset House was outstanding! The location on the beach with a pool was ideal for our family. Everything you needed for the beach and the pool (boogie boards, floats, chairs, sand toys, beach towels, sunscreen) was provided. The kitchen was fully stocked with every imaginable utensil, plate, bowl, pot, pan, and glassware. We packed chairs, towels, and a coffee maker that we didn't need as they all were provided. The grill was easy to use and exceptionally clean. The entire house and adjoining apartment were also exceptionally clean. The hot tub was a treat for the evenings. When we had an initial problem turning on the hot tub, Chris and Mykala arrived within minutes to fix the problem (flipped the circuit breaker). Having a garage was a nice feature for keeping our cars out of the sun. We would definitely come back and highly recommend the Sunset House.

What a wonderful property to share with family for vacation. So much to do in the surrounding area of Tampa and great restaurants all around. Bob & Stewart made the experience easy on us and we highly recommend this property.

Family FL Trip

We had a lovely stay at this property and, given all of the amenities, like the pool and hot tub, the attention to detail in fully stocked home items, and the gorgeous beach, we rarely left the home. A special thanks to Stuart for his detailed welcome and responsiveness. We hope to return in the not too distant future.

Wonderful Location and great view

We loved the location and property. The view is beautiful from the pool area. The house overall is as presented and one of the best-stocked houses we have ever rented when it comes to kitchen supplies. The only negative is the MBR does not have a bath and the bathrooms are small and need to be upgraded.

Wonderful views and a great home

We stayed at this property for a family vacation. The house views are amazing! Love the fact that you are steps from the beach. The house layout was great for my parents. Beach chairs etc were provided and the kitchen is fully stocked. The owner and house manager were quick to respond and great to work with.
