The accommodations were extremely clean and spacious and in a decent neighborhood. Walk to Subway was easy. Extremely grateful for the early 90 minute check in. Please include more wash clothes. We only had 2 for 6 guests. The only true negative is the noise from above from the tenants on the second floor. Friday night was particularly active and many of us got very little sleep.

The property listed was not the one we were given. I received an email the morning of the check in and was given a different address. The owner/host said that was done for security reasons. The house had a residence above us and the upstairs people could be heard walking around early in the morning. The controls for the TV were confusing and the sound out of the TV was sort of distorted. Location was very good and parking was easy.

House had a lot of space, was super nice and modern, everything was clean, listing was accurate. The neighborhood is very quiet and safe and there is a lot of stores and restaurants nearby. House even comes with a driveway. The check in process was not that good, because we were sent the wrong address. However, the host did not respond to us thru text fast, but he did answer the phone and was very happy and easy to help us get to the right house. From there getting into the right house was super easy. A little pricey but if you’re in NYC and need space in a safe neighborhood I would recommend.

The location is great to walk to the subway station (less than 10 minutes) and a drive to JFK is about 30 minutes. We went with elderly parents and a toddler who wake up early so it was nice being able to order an amazon grocery delivery order to have everything they needed once we arrived. Even with instructions, the driver dropped it at the main entrance door and not the side as requested so make sure to track the delivery. Inside, everything we needed was there. Before and during the stay the host was great with communication. I would book again if we visit NYC knowing how convenient it is to everything. A dunkin and an IHOP is near the subway station, so another easy walk for a quick coffee or meal. Enjoy your stay!

Overall the stay got the job done and was fine. We had family coming from out of town and wanted them nearby with easy access to the subway. We had originally booked two apartments supposedly in the same house. We were told that they could not accommodate one of the bookings and rather than cancel it themselves kept trying to ask us to do it. As i did not feel comfortable doing so, I worked with VRBO to cancel the listing and refund the deposit. Based on my experience with the property management, this listing, and the fact that many of the pictures for both apartments were identical, I assume that there is no second apartment, but that they have two separate listings for some reason. I think that reason is price, as coincidentally the apartment that was unavailable was the cheaper one. I would also echo many of the past reviews that the address you are told you are staying is NOT the actual address of the apartment. I am sure they will say that "you were sent the right address" and make it sound like we are the crazy ones, as they have in past reviews, but it is not the same. It is not too much far away but probably double the distance to the subway than what you are expecting. I am not sure why they don't just list accurate information to begin with. We had an issues with a large amount of uncollected trash and rats out front, but it was cleaned up pretty quickly. Overall it was a fine stay and our guests were happy enough.

Clean and Spacious apt Near Airport

We traveled from Dallas, TX, and were pleasantly surprised by the spacious apartment we found in NYC. The entire second floor was ours, featuring four large bedrooms and two full bathrooms. Our family, including young children, had a wonderful stay. The apartment is conveniently located just two blocks from the F train, allowing us to reach Manhattan in about 35 minutes. Additionally, our ride from LaGuardia Airport was a quick 15-minute Uber trip. The neighborhood was fantastic, surrounded by numerous restaurants, yet the apartment itself was very quiet. We were initially concerned about pests, but happily, we encountered neither roaches nor mice. All appliances were brand new and immaculately clean. We're already planning to return in September for the U.S. Open, as the stadium is just 15 minutes away. The location truly made our stay exceptional. A+++ for this apartment!

Potential

This property has great potential. First the key box was not placed where indicated on the check in. Once inside, we were completely disgusted on the condition of the hallway and the carpeting in the stairwell. This was extremely dirty and the presence of shoes by the doors of the other apartments left a poor impression. We were pleasantly surprised when we went inside. Things were mostly new and looked very clean. We were however disgusted once the roaches began to crawl around. There were no wash or face clothes and the washer and dryer were sitting on the wall with no hookup or way to hookup where they were placed. The apartment was on the second floor and you could hear the people on the third floor walking as you slept. While I would never stay here again it has potential.

As you mentioned our apt is beautiful and has potential, the only concern We find from your comment about roaches from this apt is Untrue. We do have a full-time exterminator who comes to this apt once a week and do take care of any bug issues. Other than this, I don't see anything that relates to our apt concerning the guests and their comfort. We did warn the tenants upstairs to respect the Quiet time zone from 10pm to 7am. Also notified them to move their shoes. And our Laundry is working simply fine. You complained about face cloths, not sure why? But we did provide 10 Towels and all were new. And you mentioned about stair wall were extremely dirty, which were not, We painted the walls and one side was undone was with old paint. Once again, this had nothing to do with your living inside the apt, but since you brought this issue, we did take care that within a day. We do provide excellent service, so everything that you have said, we did take it positively & all issues have been resolved.
