Our 2025 Stay at the Gulfstream

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We always enjoy our stay at Gulfstream with the Winter Texans and appreciate the facilities and friendly staff. The breakfasts, coffee hours, etc. are so appreciated, add to the fun, and make it easier to get to know others. The kitchen in unit 417 was the best furnished of all the units we've rented in the past.

Room for improvement

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: It’s a convenient location. Ways to improve: if you’re going to police the AC temp, say so in the listing. 72-75 was the temp in our unit and we are used to 65-68 for sleeping. People with medical conditions cannot deal with being hot at night and not sleeping. I specifically called and asked questions about the unit description and the bed setup. They were wrong and when I arrived, the beds were not as shown. I called and asked specifically about using the pickleball courts and the front desk said they were available all weekend. Yet on arrival, they were not, nor the second day as there was a tent set up on top of it. Could have said so in the call or a website banner. The note on the counter with the housekeepers names is cute. However, food on the couch is not. Maybe actually clean for real and double check because that is disgusting. When I brought several of these things to the attention of the front desk, they said they were sorry and have a great day. Haha no problem solving or offers of making it right at all. Just completely unbothered and uncaring about any of it.

Loved the property, condo-not so much

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a great stay and loved the Gulfstream, the condo was a tad disappointing as it was a bit dated and felt unloved. It was very clean, tidy and neatly arranged but not what we were expecting for an ocean front condo. The furniture didn't feel cohesive, the kitchen cabinets were all sagging and the stove sticking above the counter scared me! I made sure the kids stayed away from the stove as well as all the hanging wires. I would definitely select a different condo next time but I will be back as we had a great visit! The office staff was personable, very welcoming and chatty - they were amazing!

We loved our location of the beach view

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We would have preferred the queen size bed in the master bedroom, we had a problem with the wall lamps that were falling out of the wall and had to get maintenance to fix it. Also the kitchen was missing a knob on the stove and the exhaust fan over the stove was broken neither could be fixed. That was a disappointment. Then our front door wouldn’t lock and maintenance had to be called again causing us to be late to dinner with the rest of our family. Thank you for asking.
