The time is now to book your ultimate vacation at Pelicans roost on Sanibel Island. This small complex has undergone a complete remodel with stunning finishes. Walk into the bright and spacious two-bedroom two-bathroom condo and immediately notice the stunning views of the Gulf of Mexico. The open kitchen with solid surface countertops, stainless steel appliances, and a breakfast bar. Luxury vinyl plank floor flows throughout this entire condo. Sliding glass doors open to the waterfront lanai where you can enjoy the views, breeze, and sounds of the Gulf of Mexico. The spacious guest room is perfect for family or friends. All new guest bathroom with shower/tub combination. The large primary has stunning views of the Gulf and an attached all-new bathroom with dual sinks and shower/tub combination.
All new furnishings throughout the entire stunning condo!

Fall asleep in the primary bedroom with the comfortable king bed while enjoying the sounds and views of the Gulf. Your guests will be very comfortable in the guest bedroom featuring two full beds, flat screen TV, and ample storage. Additional sleeping on with queen sleeper sofa.

Spend your days shelling and sunning at the beach, swimming in the heated pool. Find rare seashells on the beach outside your door. Rent bicycles and explore the island along its 25 miles of safe bike paths, one of which runs right by Pelicans Roost. Don’t miss the birds and alligators at “Ding” Darling Wildlife Refuge, the treasures on display at the Bailey Shell Museum, golf on nearby public courses, shopping in cute boutiques, or dining out on fresh seafood and family-friendly favorites.

Pelicans Roost is a small complex with only 21 units right on the beach. On three sides, it’s surrounded by palms and tropical vegetation, opening to the sparkling white sand beach and gorgeous Gulf of Mexico. It’s close to shopping, restaurants, the bike path, and tiki bars. Large, heated pool, elevator, and 2 large community gas grills. This is the perfect spot for a Sanibel Island vacation. This was our first VRBO vacation. We were very well pleased. The unit was just as described and had a wonderful view of the gulf. All instructions from the host were sent by email in a timely manner for us to access and check out of the unit. The unit is very comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped, with everything we needed. Pelican Roost also has beach chairs and umbrellas available for guests. The unit had nets for shelling that our adult daughter took advantage of daily. We were advised ahead of our stay the tennis courts would be pulled up while we were there but it was not a hindrance in any manner as they are at the other end of the property. We also used the pool which is very deep at 8' and may be a consideration for those with younger children. We also took advantage of several restaurants in Sanibel. We enjoyed both Doc Fords and Timbers and would highly recommend those as well. We also took advantage of the Broadway Palm Dinner Theatre in Ft. Myers and saw Pretty Woman. We have become hooked on VRBO, Sanibel and Kingfishers as a host. The unit was priced a little higher than some others but was worth every penny.

Sanibel vacstion

The condo was fantastic. Few restaurants open and food was not really up to par. Expensive but that was expected. Much of the island still under construction. Traffic was horrible on Periwinkle especially in the afternoon. Biggest problem was noseeum bugs. My partner suffered many bites which were itchy for days. I do have concerns about medical care. One clinic open with two doctors. Tried to get appointment but non available. Hoping next year improvement will continue as we have rescheduled because the condo was terrific.
