The house was very clean and spacious. We didn't spend a lot of time at the house or cook any meals there. We wished there had been more toilet paper as we hadn't planned on going to a grocery store but that's not the worst thing. All in all, we were very happy with the place - it was in a great location. We would recommend this property to friends traveling to the area.

Hi Laura - thanks for the nice review. It sounds like this was a great home base for all your exploring -not a bad thing not to cook on vacation! We give two full rolls of toilet paper per bathroom as part of our starter kit -- along with shampoo, conditioner, lotion and soap. It's not meant to last if you are staying for a long trip, but it's enough to get you situated for several days.

The property was very nice. Backyard was lovely. Great communication with the host. There’s inaccurate description of the bed in the second bedroom and there was no pullout couch. It was a rollaway cot. However, we enjoyed this property very much. I did communicate with the owner that the front stairs needed to be fixed.

Thank you, Deirdre. Yes I made a note of the front porch and it’s on the list! We just need to get the contractor to have a couple of days to give me. Such a small job they need to fit it in and around others. You are right about the bed! I wish the listing websites offered a chance to check off rollaway bed. I do have it in the listing, but it does not give me that option to check off. I’ll try to make more of a point of it in the listing so people know. From all of what I’ve heard, it’s a very comfortable bed. In anyway, we loved having you and glad you enjoyed yourselves! You were great guests!

Make sure you get what's listed in the Ad. We booked this place because the Original listing said it had 2999 sq feet..... we NEEDED the space for our 2 families. When we arrived, the house was 1500 sq ft at best with an unfinished basement. We would have NEVER paid 450 a night for a 1 level ranch with not enough space.... it caused tension being in such tight quarters. Kinda put a bummer on our trip :((

Beautiful property with all the comforts of home. Near tons to great dining options and just a quick drive to all Portland offers.

The house is lovely and we enjoyed the view of Molasses Pond. The kitchen is well stocked and towels were clean and plentiful. As seniors and unfamiliar with Maine, the location is a bit remote although that seems to be common in Maine. We loved the house but the adorable second bedroom is obviously more suitable for children than a couple. One of us slept on the sofa which, fortunately, was comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay.Susan responded immediately to our questions and we appreciated that. Thank you!

Very nice home

The home was very clean and close to the beach. The only issue was the full/queen size bed was very uncomfortable, so bad that my brother had to sleep on the couch. A comfortable mattress should be purchased. That is the only issue.

Great that it is located on quiet street and close to beaches. We loved the table set on the deck and enjoyed the fire pit nightly.We were looking forward to sitting on the balcony off the master bedroom, but the sliding glass door was not working and no furniture so we assumed it was in need of repairs. It also would have been nice to have a small A/C unit in the small bedroom as the ceiling fan was not able to keep it cool in the room. That said, the kids really did not care :)Overall this was a great place to spend a week in Maine in July - thank you!!

Great place to stay!

The communication with Costal Maine Vacations was great! Any question, any request was responded to within minutes. Solely, the guest screening was a bit difficult for a guest from Germany as an address was requested but there was no possibility to add an address in Germany. So I used my American friends' address. We really enjoyed the house and property. The place is just lovely, clean, very well equipped. I wished to have more time to stay. The only downside were some of the towels that smelled real mouldy. But we managed to get rid of the malodour by using the brand new washing machine and dryer. And we laughed out loud when we had read the departure instructions, a unique and great way to say goodbye.

Merci pour ce beau séjour, nous avons passé de merveilleux moments en famille. La maison est parfaitement situé. Nous allions à la plage en vélo ou même à pied. Idéal pour 6 personnes. La maison est bien équipé. Excellente communication avec les propriétaires . À bientôt ! Thank you for this wonderful stay, we had a wonderful time as a family. The house is perfectly located. We went to the beach by bike or even on foot. Ideal for 6 people. The house is well equipped. Very good communication with host.See you soon!
