Our 3rd year at Sundunes and plan on coming back again next year!Best part smaller condo surrounded by houses - not the big complexes with lots of people. Plenty of space and not rows and rows of chairs - just sun, waves, wind and toes in the sandHighly recommend this location

It was perfect place to relax and enjoy the view of the beach. Close walk to the beach and convenient to shopping or restaurants.

everything was fine other than the unacceptable hot water heater. Literally not more than two people could shower and when they showered, it was only lukewarm water. On the last day of the trip, I tried to take a bath two hours after everyone else had showered, and I still was only able to get 4 inches of lukewarm water before it got freezing cold. If you’re not going tankless in the size of the water heater needs to change. The water pressure was also exceptionally low and was barely more than a trickle. Other than that, the place was nice and clean very comfortable decorated nicely. Beds were comfortable linens, new and fresh. Everything else other than the floors still being sandy and dirty. If you looked at the bottom of your feet or the bottom of your socks, they were black. We had a great day the walk to the beach and the easy excess was super nice. This time of year would’ve been really nice to have a heated pool since the water was so freezing but overall it was a very nice day. We had a great time.

We traveled from NC at 3 in the morning so we could get there and not waste anytime to get to the beach and not waste a day of just traveling. I was told i couldn't park in the parking lot until check in, which was at 4pm. We wanted to be able to park in the parking lot and use the private beach access as we paid good money to stay there. Not being able to park in the parking lot was very unfortunate and not accomdating whatsoever. Once we got to 4PM we went up to the room to put our stuff away and to bring the parking permits to put in our vehicle so it didnt get towed. We were told in the directions there would be a parking pass on the countertop and that we needed to put it in our car in order to not get towed. Well, there was no parking pass anywhere. I called and texted the property manager, which was a phone service that i believe wasn't anywhere around. I was told 3 different things from 3 different people about the parking pass. It was very frustrating not able to talk to someone who has atleast been to the property to fully understand what the situation was with no parking passes. So i wait and wait for a text from the person that was supposed to drop off our parking passes, and no one showed up. The next day i get a text that says we dont need a parking pass. The communcation was terrible. The silverware tray was very dirty with hair, etc inside of it. I hand washed all of the silverware to ensure they were clean.

We’d like to clarify a few points to ensure future guests have the most accurate information. Check-in begins at 4 PM per the HOA’s policy, and that’s also when amenities and parking become available for arriving guests. We completely understand your eagerness to start your vacation early, and we shared suggestions for local activities and public beach access to help make the most of your day until check-in. The digital guestbook, sent at booking and again on the day of arrival, is designed to make your trip as smooth as possible, including details on the HOA’s digital parking registration system. It seems there was some confusion regarding physical parking passes, which this property does not require, and we’re sorry for any frustration that caused. As for the silverware tray, that’s certainly not the standard we set for our properties, and we’ve already shared this with our property care team to ensure it’s addressed. We hope the initial bumps in the road didn’t overshadow your time here and that, once settled in, you were able to unwind and enjoy everything our beautiful beach town has to offer. We’d be delighted to welcome you back for an even smoother, more relaxing experience next time.
