the view was AMAZING!! The 3 flights of stairs were difficult.

Pro: 1.The view was AMAZING. I would 100% stay here again just for the view. 2. The space is huge! There was plenty of room. 3. Very walkable to the beach and to the downtown area. 4. Parking was great. We had two spaces that were easy to park in. One of our vehicles was a huge truck and we were able to fit it with no issues. 5. The condo provides everything you need for a few days. There was soap, shampoo, conditioner, dishwashing soap. Cons: 1. It’s on the 3rd floor which means you are walking up 3 FULL FLIGHTS OF NARROW stairs. Carrying stuff was a NIGHTMARE. 2. The sheets were the worst thing I have ever slept on. I would bring your own sheets if you are able. The ones provided felt like 80 grit sandpaper. (The towels were very fluffy and they provided PLENTY of towels) 3. The furniture was not great. The nicer sofa was just okay and not anywhere I would want to lounge. The other sofa looks and felt like it came out of a college dorm. 4. There is no laundry. There is a laundry room on the ground level but it appears to be locked and only available for the actual owners. 5. The beds were just okay. The king bed felt older and very lumpy. We stayed in July and the sun was so bright in the master bed room that it would wake us up everyday at 6am. The windows have blinds, but they could absolutely use curtains over it/ black out ones you could move. We ended up moving to the room with the double bed because the king was not comfortable. The full bed was a lot more comfortable. 6. The closets were huge but there were about 5 hangers so if you have clothes you want to hang- bring some. (also, to dry swim suits) 7. There is very minimal furniture and no pantry. We ended up just putting everything on the floor because other than the beds in the bedroom, there was no where else to put anything. It would be nice if they had just a little more. Kitchen items: The kitchen is a bit lacking but here is some helpful information: 1. There is a standard coffee maker. They do have filters in the drawer below so we did not need to buy anything. 2. There is no dishwasher. There are two drying racks under the sink 3. The listing says there is a toaster- we never found one. 4. There was no spatula. We ended up buying one from the dollar store. 5. They have a few pots, pans, salad bowl, pizza cutter, cutting board, some tubber wear. Nothing very high quality but perfect for a week! 6. There is no pantry so there really isn’t anywhere to put items other than the countertop.

Great location

Beautiful view of the canal and a short walk to the beach. Great restaurants within walking distance. This unit is very well kept. Downside is you have to walk 3 flights of stairs and no access to washer/dryer on site.

Great location, communication subpar

Pros: The location cannot be beat - close to beach and the boardwalk. Absolutely gorgeous balcony view. Loved watching the boats and the sunset over the water. We saw dolphins and many birds. The place was clean upon arrival. Cons: -Parking a little tight for large SUV -Communication was frustrating. We received a text about adding late checkout. We were unable to pay so I called guest support through Vacasa. Between three phone calls, four different people texting me, I guess it was figured out. Or it wasn’t but we paid and nobody came in while we were there. -kitchen could use some more gadgets and cookware but we made do -living room furniture was not super comfortable to lay down and rest. Overall, I would return to the building but probably wouldn’t return to anything with Vacasa. While they were polite, it seemed like they didn’t know enough about the property in NC or anything to be helpful.

Cute rental

Loved the soundview and watching the boats. Short easy walk to the beach and boardwalk. You do have to walk up 3 flights of stairs, just FYI

Great location!

This place had a gorgeous view and walkable to restaurants! Beds were comfortable and the place was clean! Not a lot of kitchen stuff but we did not plan on any cooking.
