Absolutely Beautiful & Comfortable Location

Reviewer Comments: Blue Skies is a perfect location for walking the extraordinary town & beach as well as being on the right side for an easier drive to all the day-trip destinations beyond. Of all our stays in Carmel-By-the-Sea, this one is a stand-out, so beautifully furnished and well-appointed. The Sanctuary team has been wonderful with every reservation and communication we've had. It's a joy to talk with them and true peace of mind to know our stays are managed by such quality caring individuals.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was more than happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a wonderful time at Blue Skies. My family loved that it was within walking distance to the stores, restaurants and beach although there is a bit of a hill once you pass Junipero. I appreciated the mini workout after the various pastries and amazing food, but it was a little harder for my parents. We love the outdoor area with the fire pit and spent a lot of time reading out there.

Great September in Carmel by the Sea

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a very enjoyable month in Carmel. As always, Sanctuary Vacation Rentals in an outstanding provider of excellent properties in the Monterey area. The general manager, Josh and his staff are responsive to ensure a great experience. We will always rent through Josh!The home was very well appointed and very comfortable for us and our guests. The only issue was the City of Carmel utility work ongoing in our area and several homes (next door and across the street) undergoing construction or major remodel. The street utility work seemed to be going on all over Carmel and was not just in our neighborhood. Additionally, the contractors were very courteous regarding their work schedules and noise abatement. The house was fabulous and the outdoor fire pit was a nice extra for cocktail hour in the late afternoon.

Another great. Month in Carmel!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Blue skies is close to town, has a wonderful outdoor fire pit with comfortable seating, and two of the bedrooms have king beds so it’s great choice for those who have friends coming to visit. The decor could use some updating but was certainly functional and the house could use a deep clean. I didn’t love the master bathroom toilet also doubling as the guest toilet the master BR is located on the main floor and is the only bathroom on that floor)however it wasn’t a big problem as we didn’t host gatherings at the house other than for those staying with us. Driveway parking was a bit challenging because of the hedges on both sides which made the space pretty narrow. Definitely would be easier for smaller cars than the SUV we were driving. Sanctuary rentals was responsive as always to issues which arose.

Very nice property

This is a very nice property, and we enjoyed our stay. The house is very comfortable. The only recommendation we would have is the carpeting in the master bedroom is in need of replacement. Everything else in the home met our expectations.

FANTASTIC HOME!! PRIVILEGED TO ENJOY IT.

I rented "Blue Skies" for the month of December to enjoy the beautiful weather and other things Carmel has to offer. This home offered enough room for my kids to drop in and spend some time with me, and its beautiful backyard enable my dogs and I to launch onto multiple walks every day followed by naps in the afternoon sun. The home is amazing and very spacious. The master upstairs is terrific and its balcony enables a morning cup of coffee, serenity, and beautiful views. All the rooms are top rate and very comfortable. Add a first rate kitchen, dinning room, washer/dryer, and a few TVs and it spells a fantastic visit. For those new to Carmel, the location of Blue Skies also provides easy walking access to most of the town's great restaurants. I've been visiting and renting homes in Carmel for 20+ years and now Blues Skies is at the top of the list!! Shawn Sackman - Shingle Springs, CA January 3, 2018

Perfection in Carmel

Superbly maintained home with ample room upstairs and down. Located on a quiet street (you can hear the waves crashing against the shore in the evening) within easy walking distance to downtown Carmel combined with quick access to Highway 1 for nearby shopping. Don Cherry Community Center is one block away, which provides some intimate entertainment options. Similarly, you're within easy walking distance of The famed Forest Theatre which features plays, musicals and feature films in a quaint outdoor setting. Property management company does a superb job of attending to all your needs/questions.

Charming, Cozy, and Convenient Home in Carmel

My husband and I spent the month of July last summer at this very charming house in Carmel. We had a wonderful time. The house is almost like new inside with every needed convenience. One of the most important things for us, too, is that it's an easy 5. Minute walk to town and a nicely challenging 10 minute walk back. We love to walk to the Bruno's, the legendary all-purpose Carmel store, for the newspaper and croissants each morning. The house is exactly like it is pictured and is beautifully maintained and the kitchen had everything we needed. Candace, the manager, is extremely nice and helpful. We had a small problem with one of the kitchen lights and their maintenance man was there within the hour. I would recommend Blue Skies to anyone wanting to spend time in Carmel. It's lovely.

Gorgeous home right in the heart of Carmel.

Had an amazing time staying at this incredibly beautiful home in Carmel. It was the perfect getaway from home and walking distance to all the amazing shops and restaurants in downtown Carmel. We were just a close drive from the Pebble Beach Golf Course where we went to the AT&T Pro-AM Golf Tournament. I would recommend this vacation home to any family or couple looking for a lovely stay in the most beautiful city in CA!

CHARMING HOME CLOSE TO TOWN AND BEACH

This is a cozy, well appointed home with attractive furniture, a kitchen that is spacious and equipped with everything you could possibly need and large master bedroom with a super comfortable bed and roomy bathroom with jacuzzi tub. The other two bedrooms are conveniently located on lower level and also beautifully furnished with comfortable beds. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would rent this property again. The management company was attentive and helpful when we had questions.

Phenomenal Rental - Exceeded my Expectations

My overall impression of the rental was that it exceeded my expectations. First of all, the location was ideal as it was a short walk into the heart of downtown Carmel and a short walk to the ocean. I was able to run from the house down to the jogging paths that go along the ocean and it made for a spectacular jog. The house had three ample bedrooms and the overall decor of the house was tasteful and charming. I loved the personal touch left by the artwork made by the owner's daughter. The paintings done by the daughter accented the Spanish-style architecture of the house. The owner was readily accessible and provided wonderful customer service when I had to reach him because I had the wrong key to open the door. The owner took the initiative to coordinate with the property managers and resolve my problem. It was all done in a very professional manner. While staying at this property, I enjoyed the mediterranean restaurant, Yafa and the oil and vinegar shop called Trio Carmel. I fell in love with all of the oils and vinegars that you can use in your cooking. I would completely recommend this property to a friend or relative.

Charming getaway

Wow, amazing location! Loved this spacious house and it's proximity to all the shops, restaurants, and of course the beach. The owners have really kept it tidy and the decor made me feel right at home. I also like the large bathrooms.

The only place to stay in Carmel

I have been fortunate enough to stay at Blue Skies on a few occasions. Beautiful home, spacious, tastefully decorated, warm, and has all the amentities one needs. Besides the home itself, you are walking distance to downtown Carmel and all this amazing town has to offer. Highly recommend and will be staying there again very soon.

Spacious home in a amazing location!

Beautiful property! Stayed here for the long weekend and had an amazing time. We were very impressed with the decor as well as the high quality linens and towels that were provided. The bed was very comfortable and steam shower in the attached bathroom to the bedroom was delightful. The location was amazing, it was an easy walk to reach all the great shops and restaurants in the town. We will be booking Blue Skies again next time we return to Carmel By the Sea!
