About the Log Cabin
The 1800-style cedar Log Cabin is complete with wood-burning fireplace and antiques from the 19th Century. If you are looking for ranches near Houston, TX you have found it. We provide a memorable getaway, only one hour from Houston. This Log Cabin on our ranch is a two-story cabin with a queen bed downstairs off the living room and two twin beds upstairs. The staircase is steep/ladder-style, made in the style that is commensurate with its 1800's era; therefore not suitable for small children under 6 years of age.
The bathroom features an antique claw-foot tub with antique hand-held telephone shower. A fully furnished kitchen includes a gas stove and oven, farm table, and a modern full-size refrigerator. The front porch has rocking chairs to enjoy. The Log Cabin is not in a secluded area. A true Texas Ranch experience.

Some of our adorable Border Collies stayed with us and live full lives on the ranch with tons of room to play and run around. You can also make a donation if you wish to support the Border Collie rescue directly.

The Exotic Animal Safari is a 45-minute guided expedition through our exotic pasture and is a great way to catch a glimpse of American Bison Red Deer, Blackbuck Antelope, Red Deer, Axis Deer, Fallow Deer and more! Another way to get up close and personal with the wildlife is with a morning ranch feeding tour as a part of our Family Fun Package.
