SUGAR SHACK Tiny Home is the perfect place to relax and unwind. This blissful escape includes a private hot tub, a separate she-shed and spacious deck. Plush Dream Cloud queen-sized bed, 2 web-enabled smart TVs, high speed internet, “The One” Bluetooth speaker, an additional waterproof speaker for use in the hot tub, a sofa for 2, electric fireplace, device charges.

PRIVATE HOT TUB: open year-round with colored LED lighting and enclosed on 3 sides with a roof so can be enjoyed in most weather conditions. Mineral purified water is softer, sparkly, and gentle on the skin.
**Please note that all hot tubs are serviced daily between 10am - 2pm.**

Fuel-Pellet FIRE PIT: Pellets and fire starter provided.

KITCHEN: includes an induction stove top, microwave/convection oven in one, FULL SIZE refrigerator and freezer, Keurig coffee machine and a pour over with coffees/teas, electric water kettle and plenty of dishware/glasses and other numerous amenities. Propane grill available on the deck.

BATH: includes a comfortable/tall shower, flush toilet (this tiny includes MODERN amenities) and is packed with amenties: plenty of plush bath and spa towels, cozy robes, soap, shampoo, conditioner, blowdryer, etc.

LOCATION: Located within Art Park in the village of Chatham, NY. Art Park is radically upcycling the existing vintage homes and bringing in tiny homes (and shipping container homes soon). Check out our project at artparkhomes dot com.

In the VILLAGE: Enjoy the best of both worlds! While the Sugar Shack is completely enclosed for utmost privacy, it`s located in the village of Chatham. Just a 2-minute walk to Main Street with several restaurants, the popular Chatham Brewery, several art galleries, one-of-a-kind shops selling antiques, clothing, gifts, etc. The vintage movie theatre: The Crandell. Nearby towns: Hudson, Stockbridge, Great Barrington, Lenox.

-Outdoor/community Viking tent with large custom wood bar table and fire pit for use by all guests.

ACTIVITIES
-For skiers and boarders, we are located approx. 30 minutes from 3 ski resorts: Jiminy Peak, Catamount and Butternut.
-Apple picking, corn mazes, Sculpture park, hiking, biking.
-Farmers markets, wineries/breweries/cideries, indoor & outdoor concert/ performance venues.
-Restaurants, bars, farm stores for organic foods.
-Walk into town, Hot tub, grill dinner, hang out at the community Viking Tent with firepit and large bar table
-Or just cozy up in the She-shed with a book or watch a movie.

ABOUT ART PARK
Art Park is a unique mobile home park that is transforming its vintage mobile homes into innovative dwellings with immersive environments. The Sugar Shack is one of two tiny homes available at Art Park. The other tiny home is
“Blush...the tiniest champagne bar” with an upstairs loft. The first upcycled vintage mobile home, the HunnyHAUS, is also currently available as a 2-br and 2-bath with its own private hot tub. The “Hitching Post”, a western-inspired space, also with private hot tub, should be ready for guests by early 2024. Many of the homes are in different stages of renovation and the majority are not currently lived in.

Your visit will help fund more art for the Park and creatives-in-residence in the near future.

This home, located within Art Park (see more details below) is in the charming village of Chatham, NY--just a 2-minute walk to Main Street with restaurants, the Chatham Brewery, unique shops, antiques, vintage clothing, theater, art galleries, Crandell movie theater. Less than 1 mile (walkable with sidewalks) north on Center Street/Route 66 is Crellin Park with a swimming pond (with lifeguard), basketball, tennis courts, skateboarding, trails along the river. PS21 abuts the park and you can access their scenic groomed trails from the back of Crellin Park.

You can stay at the Sugar Shack and walk to just about anything you need. The closest grocery store is about 1 mile. There is a drug store within .5 miles as well as a food coop and a small convenience shop.

Art Park is designed to be a relaxing, private escape. Please keep music, television, conversations, and other noise at a level that cannot be heard by neighboring guests or residents.

TREAT THE SPACE WITH CARE
We’ve thoughtfully created this experience for you. Please help us keep it beautiful for everyone who stays after you.

TOWELS, MAKEUP & HAIR PRODUCTS
Please use the black or gray washcloths and hand towels when removing makeup, self-tanner, or hair products that could stain our white linens.

Please DO NOT USE hair dye or other products that may permanently stain towels, bedding, counters, or other surfaces.

HOT TUB GUIDELINES
-Please shower before entering.
-Do not use lotions, oils, soaps, bath products, or any other products in the hot tub. A $100 cleaning fee may apply.
-No glass is permitted in or near the hot tub. Please use the plastic drinkware provided on the open shelves.
-Replace the cover whenever the hot tub is not in use.
-If the water level appears low, please contact us so we can top it off.

We carefully clean and maintain our hot tubs for every guest. Misuse or leaving the hot tub in poor condition may result in additional cleaning or servicing fees.

🐾 DOG POLICY
We’re happy to welcome one well-behaved dog weighing up to 20 pounds, with prior approval. Dogs are the only pets permitted.

A $75 pet fee applies.
BEFORE ARRIVAL, please send us your dog’s breed, age, and weight for approval.

For everyone’s comfort:
-Dogs must be well behaved.
-Dogs may not be left unattended inside the home.
-Dogs are not permitted on furniture or bedding.
-Please clean up after your dog.
Unapproved pets are not permitted.

ADDITIONAL HOUSE RULES
No parties, loud music, or disruptive behavior.
No smoking or vaping inside the home.
No illegal activities anywhere on the property.
If something is broken or damaged, please let us know promptly so we can arrange for its repair or replacement.
