Denne kabine kan lejes året rundt. I foråret, sommeren og efteråret slapper af på græsplænen ved Clam Lake's kant - 100 fod af privat forside! Parker din båd i vores 24-fods placering dækket bådslip eller fisk og krydser Antrim County's 67-mile lange Chain-O'-Lakes. Fantastisk fiskeri efter aborre, gedde, valse og bas. I nærheden er der flere funktioner, man kan nyde, end en ferie kan rumme, god shopping, afslappet og god spisning, golf på en lang række kurser, vandsport, naturreservater, smukke solnedgange og luften i sig selv - klar og ren. Tre soveværelser, et med to enkeltsenge, 2 med 1 dobbeltseng. Et badeværelse med bruser. Afskærmet veranda. WiFi, kabel-tv. 100 'privat græsplæne og søen. We enjoyed our week long stay. The cabin is rustic, clean, and in a great location for checking out Northern Michigan. If you like being on the water and like boating, you can spend days exploring the many connected lakes from this cabin. The hosts were attentive to any questions that I had during our stay.

We have stayed at that cabin for several years, and always enjoy it. Beautiful view of the lake and sunsets. The marina is close by and so is the dockside restaurant. We enjoy the privacy that this cabin provides.

Have been vacationing here for many years. Will continue vacationing there. Mike is very kind and did anything that needed to be done. The place is very peaceful even with the activity on the lake that’s entertaining. Location is great. You have Alden & Bellaire close and beautiful Torch Lake just a short distance. Thank you Mike & Helen for making my vacation enjoyable.

Very disappointed! Bedrooms were not clean, dust bunnies, dog food, cob webs, under and around furniture. Bedspreads needed washing. Two bedrooms smelled bad of urine. One bed, you would roll to center. Bathroom, between the shower and toilet was mushy, so toilet had a lean to it. Left us was a half a roll of toilet paper.... for 7 days! The baseboards has mold, mildew, slimy something on them. Don't understand how it made the excellent list. The odor was a real turnoff. Couldn't open one window, the others had cobwebs didn't want to open them. Just very disappointing. The one star.... boat house. Would not recommend. Will not be back.

Clam Lake Fun!

Awesome location, close to a variety of fun small towns, visited the nature center nearby, kids loved it and loved the cottage environment right on the water!

Clam lake therapy

Another great stay on clam Lake! Good weather, beautiful, clean lake safe and private cabin. excellent and well outfitted boathouse Great beach for swimming and sunbathing and we can never forget the dockside restaurant!

Cute cottage on Clam Lake

Our family has stayed here twice now. The location & boat house are great! The cottage is cozy and basic and has everything we've needed. The owners are wonderful and easily accessible if needed.

The perfect vacation

Two very enjoyable weeks watching the sun raise over the water and trees each morning and the great sunsets each night. Fun at the beach and great fishing! We can't wait until next year!

Nice cottage stay on Clam Lake

We made the most out of a bad weather week but the property and location are great for so many up north Michigan activities. Hopefully the weather will cooperate next time!

The property needs some updating. The bathroom toilet was literally sinking into the floor due to either a water leak or moisture. The shower is extremely small and I could not comfortably take a shower. Under the beds was a lot of dust and dirt and we even found dirty socks from a previous guest. The kitchen stove would not light and we had to use a lighter. There was also a sign on the fridge inviting us to enjoy a bottle of locally sourced wine but there was no bottle. I was also asked to take 2 overflowing garbage bins to the road from previous guests. There was trash all around the bins that I felt obligated to clean up. Almost every plug is a standard ungrounded outlet and we had brought fans (we stayed in August) that had the 3rd prong and were unable to use.The mattresses were all I believe broken because you immediately rolled to the center of the bed. The dock area was nice and did fit our boat. Overall I would recommend finding a different place. We paid over 2000 for one week and we were left feeling very unimpressed.

Family getaway

Been using this cabin for over 10 years. Love the location. If need anything taken care of the owner is around to help. I’m booked for the next two years.

Perfect getaway

This was the perfect up north cabin for that getaway that you or your family is looking for. You are right on Clam lake, who wouldn’t want to wake up on the beautiful water! The views are breathtaking and the cabin has everything you and or your family could need. I really enjoyed my stay and meeting the owner Mike was a delight, He was very kind and easier to talk to! I would recommend this location for anyone wanting that true up north experience!

The great getaway

The cabin is very very nice love love love the old Knotty Pine. Staying here before terrific location. Nice to stay on the clam River has Les winds . It has a covered. Great place to put the boat. Very calm Waters very peaceful and quiet location. Thank you Mike for your hospitality.

Relaxing

Great location. Rustic cabin on water was perfect for our needs, Once the area is investigated it is a relatively close commute to accomplish / visit whatever is desired. Mike was very helpful answering questions regarding the area and providing firewood. It is a MUST to rent his boat to investigate the lakes-very relaxing!! He even went out of the way and mailed a couple of items to me when I accidently left them behind. A great host and vacation. Lots more to see when we revisit!

Another great summer vacation week!

This was our 7th year staying at this cottage. We love the location…30 min boat ride to the sandbar on Torch Lake or 5 min to the Grass River for a ride up to Bellaire. My favorite is sipping coffee on the screened in porch each morning listening to the waves. Plenty of golf courses nearby to choose from. We also enjoy the local restaurants. Thank you for also allowing fur kids, our Pug loves pontoon rides so I’m happy we can bring her. Reservation is already made for next year, can’t wait!

6th Summer Vacation and counting!

This was our 6th year staying at this cute cottage for our summer vacation. Great location on Clam Lake. We bring our pontoon each year so we can enjoy the lakes and Grass River. My favorite part of the cottage is the screened in porch. I enjoy drinking my morning coffee every morning overlooking the lake. This cottage is also a short distance to golf in Bellaire or shopping in Alden. Make sure to checkout the sunset from Dockside just down the road, beautiful.

Another great summer vacation week! Hot and sunny just like we’d hoped for. This was our 8th year renting this cottage. We enjoy being centrally located between Alden and Bellaire on Clam Lake. We spend the majority of our week enjoying the lakes and can easily head out to Torch Lake or go up the Grass River into Lake Bellaire. The covered dock space works great for our 23’ pontoon. Lots of restaurants and golf courses in the area to choose from as well as some cute shops in Alden. Family vacation isn’t complete without our furkid, so we appreciate this cottage allowing dogs. Our lil pug loves boating with us. The lake view never gets old and we all enjoy having coffee on the front covered porch over looking the lake. See you next year!

Very nice

Overall our stay was good. The owner was very nice and helpful. Because the weather was very warm it made it somewhat uncomfortable without air conditioning. This was my fault for not inquiring before hand and no one would expect it to be almost 90% at the end of August and early in September. The boat dock was great and Mike gave us access to the pontoon boat at a great price, no charge. Thank you Mike!

Great Cabin & Close to Torch Lake

The cabin is a great place to get away and relax. We brought our boat and enjoyed the boat house, fire pit, cabin and close proximity to Torch Lake. There are plenty of opportunities to explore the lakes. We took a few rides down the Torch River and into Elk Lake too. Dinner at Dockside is always a must as part of the trip. The owner is very friendly and is at the property daily. Our only suggestion is that it would be appreciated if he didn't make his visit in the early morning. We were often woken up due to noises and talking in the yard. Overall, it was a great trip. We even made friends with the guests staying at the resort next door which added to our entertainment for the week. Bellair is a great little town and we also recommend breakfast at the Lunch Box. We truly enjoyed our stay at the property and recommend it for anyone.

Reliving Memories

We vacationed at Northaire Resort for about 15 years. Our last stay was in 1993. We wanted to revisit the area and reminisce about our times. Although the weather wasn’t very good, it was still worth the trip. This cottage has been separated from the other cottages in Northaire. The owner, Mike is a very nice person. He spends a lot of time at the boathouse that he erected on the property which really wasn’t a problem. The cottage itself needs some significant work and a good cleaning. Having said that, it was well equipped, the beds were comfortable, and still we had a good reunion. Remember to bring your own pillows. We didn’t realize there weren’t any in the cottage and had to use the throw pillows on the couch.

Our stay was amazing. Let’s start with Mike Lambert, the host. I had privilege of meeting him. You can tell how he carries himself with dignity, professionalism and just a great human being. The cabin exemplified Mike and it was a top notch rental if you are expecting a relaxing, old school, ‘let the world crumble outside around you’ feeling. Fishing/shopping trip

Great place to stay I shopped while my son and husband fished. Very close to Traverse City for shopping and other activities. Great place to stay will definite stay again. We were about a week early for the beautiful fall colors the trees were just starting to turn.

I grew up spending summers on Torch Lake around the corner from Clam Lake. My family moved fulltime to Petoskey in 1985. I have always loved the chain-of-lakes for the natural beauty and recreational opportunities.

Derfor valgte værten dette overnatningssted

The cabin's privacy and location on Clam Lake made it an opportunity too good to pass up. I intend to pass on the property to my children.

Derfor er dette overnatningssted unikt

The cottage was built in the 1950s by a company known for building cottages with character in the area. I was drawn by the wood paneling, screened porch and covered boat slip.
