Just a quick drive takes you to the historic district, where you can visit the Castillo de San Marcos, our perfectly preserved Spanish fort, where you can watch reenactors show you what life was like hundreds of years ago. Then wander the cobbled steps of Saint George Street, where you can visit dozens of restaurants and hundreds of shops to find that perfect memento of your trip here.
Nearby attractions include Marineland, just a few miles South of the home, and The Saint Augustine Ampitheater just North, where you can catch some amazing live musical acts, or the Saturday farmers market until 2pm.
Further North is the world famous Alligator farm, where you can check out the gator feedings, the exotic bird rookery, or zip-line above the park.
